First off let me start by saying finding a flower shop in Brooklyn is tough. Now to the scenario I was in: I needed a flower shop fast if I wanted the quality to match. And coming here to Bernadette was the best decision I've made. When I came it I was greeted with a smile and assistance. I wasn't sure what I wanted but I just gave Mrs. Bernadette and idea and out came a beautiful assortment for my lady. If you have indecision she will steer you in the right direction. So much class and a lovable personality. She treated me like my grandmother and to me that type of treatment to a complete stranger just means your love is pure. Get your FLOWERS HERE.

Bernadette always provides me with freshest flowers and beautiful bouquets. She will make you feel like family.

If I could give 0 stars I would. In addition to the person being lazy unprofessional and unwelcoming she doubled down and being ignorant and being discriminatory towards others. Her prices that she describes were more that her her competitors. Pluse her arrangements were ghasly terrible. Her patterns (if you wanted to call them that were not extracted from she communicated. Plus she became discriminating myself and my cousin when we were discussing the flowers offered. Which made this experience worst. We left immediately because no one deserves this treatment. If you want to show your loved one decency respect and love I would NOT give this lady my business. At All! read more

I didn't have a positive experience at Bernadette's. Maybe I should have read the Yelp reviews before setting foot in her store. I went to get some flowers for a belated birthday. The place itself isn't very welcoming: it's old and dingy, and the store front isn't inviting. Since this was the only place open and close to home I decided to give it a go anyway. Long story short, Bernadette didn't have time to sell me flowers because, as she put it, "she was very busy doing something else." I'm assuming she was working on a big order from another customer or something. I felt very disrespected as a customer. She pretty much said I don't want your business. "Come back in two hours" she said. Two hours later would have been closing time. I got the hint Bernadette. Before exiting the store I made sure to ask her name, she said Bernadette. How can someone stay in business mistreating customers in such a manner? read more

Received one of the most beautiful and glittery 'get well soon' bouquets yesterday from this flower shop! I had no idea I was going to be receiving flowers. Bernadette personally called me to let me know that I was receiving a bouquet and to find out how I was feeling. The delivery man was so nice and the bouquet really did brighten my day. That evening Bernadette called to make sure that I received the flowers, we chatted and she wished me a speedy recovery. Excellent customers service! read more

I came by for some flowers for a friends birthday in February and was almost turned away however Ms. Bernadette. Helped me at a reasonable price. So I decided that I come back today and clearly I was in for a rude awakening. I was turned away for no reason And was told I was supposed to come a day in advance for what?? Who knows! She kept saying "I'm doing a wedding I can't do that. I don't have time for that". All I was asking for was to buy flowers. Not a whole arrangement. I also called before coming so we discussed this prior in which she told me. Come by. Don't know how she's even in business. Rude. Unprofessional and I will never be back. read more

I recently had to get a small bouquet of flowers last minute, and had no clue where to go, or what I needed. My friend found Flowers by Bernadette, and when I arrived I was so satisfied by the welcome I received form the owner. She has great customer service, and after I explained what I needed the flowers for she knew exactly what I should get. She was also happy to add glitter, and even after I paid and left, she called be back in for complimentary roses. Wow! I literally got hung up on . I asked what time they would close. The woman who picked up said " I have no special time to close today, the owner left for the day." I was in the midst of asking her if she could make an arrangement for me. It was for my mom who lives on 24/7 oxygen assistance. Sadly, there was no "Have a nice day!" Or any ounce of respect given . Seriously !!!! They were a surprise for my mom from my dad. This would be their first concert date in ages being that my mom had been very ill with an illness that cannot be fixed without a transplant . They are attending a Patti Labelle concert. Not what I expected from a florist AT ALL!!! Disgusting attitude, rude manners and extremely unprofessional!!!My spouse even came here for me one time, smh! We will no longer give our business to this establishment. read more

The service was quick and friendly. The place itself has a very mom and pop establishment vibe to it. As I noted at the beginning, I don't have as much experience buying flowers as I do say a good slice of pizza so I don't have as much experience in terms of the basis for comparison, but if I were in the area, I would definitely come back to get flowers for another occasion.
