Carole calls first to be sure you are home and gives a ball park idea of when the delivery will be made. Driver was nice and friendly and identified himself even before I opened the door. Flowers were beautiful! They looked just like the sympathy bouquet online - no skimping by Carole! You get what you order, even though the person ordering may not get to see the arrangement. Flowers are fresh and still doing nicely. The arrangement was also nicely and safely packed for delivery in a sturdy, professional looking box. I needed to order flowers for a birthday and I was researching florists on Oahu. I came across Flowers By Carole and took a look at the website and had to do a double take on the prices. So I decided to go to the shop to make sure it was legit lol. When I first came in you can immediately tell Carole has been doing this a long time. Very sweet lady who was very helpful in explaining all the options she could offer with the bouquet that I wanted. I wanted to add lilies to the bouquet and I was able to do that. She showed me different colors, different sizes, and was overall really helpful. She called me the next day to inform me that some of the flowers that were supposed to come with my bouquet didn't come in And again she gave me options. I just told her to put together what she thought was best since she's been doing this for many years. Needless to say I was very happy when I picked it up. I also asked if I could change the pick up time to a couple hours earlier on that same day and she was able to accommodate! Overall I am happy to give Carole 5 stars. LUCKILY flowers by carole was still open so i popped in just to see what i could get off the shelf. super super friendly and helpful. she asked me if i lived nearby, but i told her i could just put it together myself. it was already so late i didnt want to be "one of those people" and make her do a rush order for me and drop whatever else she had planned. showed her some pictures from their website so she knew what look i was going for, and she grabbed all the flowers that i needed and picked the colors too. also bought a 7" vase from her, that OMG fit in my cup holder!! so i didnt even have to worry about it when i was driving to dinner. so so clutch! she even let me get a card holder, and said the card comes free with any flower arrangement. so so lucky they were open and i didnt have to preorder anything. my total came out to just under $50. for ferns, babies breath, roses, carnations, and gerbera. she even trimmed them all, stems and petals. and put the wire on the stems so wouldnt fall over. i felt like she definitely went out of her way to help someone who had not planned well for this occasion at all lol read more

I just wanna say thank you to carole for making this gravesite arrangement for my mamas funeral. I was supposed to get a standing flower spray from telefloral yesterday the 24th. But 10 min before they were supposed to deliver my flowers to my mamas funeral they texted me and say they couldnt deliver it not a day or 2 but 10min. I called to see if Carole had any flower arrangements for sale on Sunday around 11:15. I needed something for my sister since her dog had to be put to sleep. Carole asked all kinds of question, was the dog a male or female? (Female). Did I want bright colors or pastel colors? What kinds of flowers did I want (I didn't know). How much did I want to spend? Then she said it would be ready in an hour. I ended up going down to pick up the arrangement about 12:45 with my daughter. I came here because I saw the reviews and also I came from Aiea Florist which is in the same shopping area. I was looking for a lei because Aiea Florist didn't have any. Luckily this shop had a lei, ginger lei like what I wanted! However, it was plain that I requested something to be placed on as an accent. She recommended the orchid bloom or rose buds! Rose buds definitely worked! It came out beautiful! Price was alright! I paid $35 + tax because I had to be pay extra $5 for the rose buds. I don't mind paying. Reason for my rating, pre-orders are recommended because when you walk in the shop there is nothing to be purchased immediately. She was trying to sell single pikake leis for $5 because it was turning brown (she was honest though). The shop was unkempt. Papers piling. Floral equipments everywhere. When I buy from someone, which I think most people do, first impression plays a factor in purchasing! Totally forgetting that most florists are closed on Sunday's, I drove to 4 different Safeways to find a bouquet for my mom's birthday (most of their arrangements were dead). Already stressed, I googled florists in Aiea and landed on Flowers By Carole. It took a while to get through to their line (crazy busy) but the lady who answered the phone told me they were able to deliver my arrangement as long as it was delivered in the area and they could make a similar arrangement due to the fact they didn't have all the flowers. Just the fact that they could deliver today had me sold so I didn't mind it not being the exact bouquet I saw online. I gave her my card info and got off the phone. I called in my order at 11am, it was delivered to my job by 2pm. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE. The bouquet itself was very full and vibrant in different shades of pinks and purples. Stopped by Flowers By Carole to get my parents an anniversary arrangement. I usually like the browse the selection rather than call in an order. I got there around 5:15ish and the parking lot was quite full! Luckily after one round, someone was leaving. Entered Carole's and was greeted upon entry. Only thing, no premade arrangements! She assured me she could get one done quickly and off she went. She didn't ask how much I wanted to spend so I was a little nervous. Carole (presuming that's her) made a fantastic pink arrangement with roses and other flowers, a really beautiful combo! My kids were with me and as Carole said we could pick out a card, of course both are arguing who will sign first. Carole graciously said "you can take more than one". Whew, meltdown avoided! So each kid had their own card and she had pens so they could write on their cards while she made the arrangement. About 10 minutes later, we walked out with a beautiful arrangement, about $62.
