This is one of my go to shops as it's convenient for me to get to on the way to work. Easy to find off of Kam Highway. I've always been able to find parking easily in the private parking lot attached to the building (about 4 stalls). Lei selection varies day to day. They usually have crown flower strands and cigar lei. I was able to get a full puakenikeni lei for $30 as it's in season. Flowers for grave sites are also available. I recommend calling first to see what they have if you're looking for something particular, especially lei. They are really nice and will place lei on hold for you. read more

I had never been into Flo's Min Florist before until recently. My Grandmother used to stop in all the time when she was a resident at the Pearl City Nursing Home. And I remembered it when I was in full blown rush mode because I procrastinated a tad bit too long in getting things together for my son's last day of Kindergarten. I had made ribbon lei for all of his classmates, and wanted to get floral lei for him and his teacher. When I got in, their selection of lei was small, probably because everyone else beat me to it. Lol. What was left was a bit out of my price range for the occasion. So, I opted for their beautiful rainbow colored roses for his teacher! They were gorgeous and big! I couldn't leave there without one for my daughter too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I called and the person i spoke with was so kind and helpful through the whole process. I wanted to sincerely thank Joanne and her staff for their assistance with our order for daughter's graduation leis. Our daughter graduated from her Master's Program. We wanted to order leis, but we were not sure where since we are in California. We contacted our cousin in Hawaii, who recommended Flo Min's Florist. Our cousin helped place the order and then I spoke to Joanne to make sure the leis were the best choice and would survive the shipping process. The leis were expertly packed and even had an ice pack tucked at the bottom. When I had spoken to Joanne, she had given me instructions on how to keep the leis fresh since they had arrived a few days before the graduation date. All the leis were beautiful, but we chose the Micronesian ginger lei for its fragrance, and it did not disappoint. I needed to send a sympathy bouquet to Waipahu and searched for a florist that could deliver out there within a few days of my order. After researching a bit I decided on Flo's Min Florist although I was hesitant since they did not have a website that I could pick an arrangement, but they had great reviews. I called several times during business hours but their recording says they do not answer if they are helping others. You cannot leave a message but are told to call back. When I finally reached someone, I asked for a sympathy arrangement, like white anthuriums but they did not have any for the day I wanted. I saw a photo from a site about a fan bouquet with white roses but was told the roses would be too small. Finally, I said to make an appropriate arrangement with white flowers and maybe some lilies, purple statice, and greens, an oriental arrangement if possible, but NO carnations. She quoted me $70 so I said to upscale it and I'd pay $80 plus the $10 delivery fee. Total was almost $100. I asked her to send me a photo of the arrangement and she said fine. I never got the photo or any proof of delivery so I called and was told they did not take a picture. I asked a friend at the funeral gathering to take the photo and she sent me one. Although the flowers look okay, I wanted a sympathy arrangement. It also has carnations.. And I never got a photo and paid extra for a special bouquet. They did deliver, just not what I wanted. read more

3-12-22 spur of the moment decision... the kiddies' mom said don't need a birthday cake so decided on a pikake lei( my fave) for her to wear at dinner tonight. Way back when during prom time AGES ago, pikake were $6 a strand and more during Mothers Day or graduation or when there was too much rain and hard to come by. Today each strand was $9.50. I called from Pearl Kai and by the time we reached here, the lei was ready in a clear box. Classy, not just in a plastic bag. Great addition to any special occasion or for a female and when entertwined with Maile for the men, the smell is even more heavenly. Fragile and lasts only a day or two if wrapped and kept in the fridge but you can leave it out after wearing it to have sweet dreams or take it to share to a beloved person who has passed. Service was excellent! We went in to inquire about funeral floral arrangements and the staff was so welcoming and accommodating. No pressure to put in an order, but we did with no hesitation. They first checked to see if they were available for delivery on our special day before going further. The selection of wreaths and casket spreads was many to choose from. They were very helpful in our selection of flowers that would match our mom's favorite color and what would be available. I couldn't believe how the wreath and casket arrangements turned out when I first saw them at the chapel! They looked amazing and so beautiful! It looked like we paid a fortune! In addition, my cousin sent a tropical arrangement since she couldn't attend from CA and that arrangement was so gorgeous! It just happened to be from this same florist! As my mom, a long-time customer says, "Flo's Min never disappoints!" I am a Hawai'i girl now living on the mainland who enjoys sending her loved ones flowers. And while I would always prefer to support local, it can be hard to order through those shops being out of state--they often don't have a website to browse arrangement options and I have to process the entire order via phone call. For years, this would lead me to utilizing big name mainland companies purely for the convenience, however, 9 times out of 10, the arrangement looked nothing like the photos and left me upset and feeling like I wasted my money.   Flo's Min always makes the process of arranging a delivery so easy, accommodating my requests at times within a couple days when I am being a particularly bad daughter/granddaughter...I appreciate being able to peruse their Instagram and email them a couple arrangements I like, and if necessary, they'll make sure any substitutions or deviations are okay with me. Their prices are reasonable, the flowers always look like I hoped, and my mom and grandma are always thrilled with the arrangements.  I feel so much better spending my money with a local florist who clearly prides themselves on quality and customer service; I will never order flowers through anyone else again. Found this place on yelp after desperately looking for a florist who could deliver for a celebration of life. There is street parking and a few stalls at the side of the building. They graciously took our order 2 weeks before the service and accommodated a casket spray (that came with a banner) and 2 open maile leis. They had a really big selection of sprays, arrangements and leis. They also had it delivered in tact & on time. The only reason I wouldn't give 5 stars is because it took a realllllly long time when we were trying to put the order together.. I think the girl that helped us was new maybe so didn't know how to answer our questions. We may have been there for a little more than an hour. But all is well because it came out really great, we may have spent just a little over $500 for all that we purchased and it came out real nice. read more

A friend of mine recommended Flo's Min Florist this morning as I was searching for a gender reveal surprise for my mom (baby's grandma). As I live in Las Vegas, I can't tell you how many times I've been disappointed ordering flowers online. It never looks the same as the photo even when I spend hundreds for a beautiful arrangement. I called today after flipping through their Instagram and asked if they had arrangement #122. They were out of lilys, and they let me know right away, but I explained that it just needed to be pink flowers for a surprise gender reveal for baby's grandma. By noon, the arrangement was ready for pickup and my best friend picked it up for me and delivered. The accents that they added were so cute and thoughtful! They added a little pink baby foot, an "it's a girl" sticker to the flowers, a pink clothespin, and some other super specialized accents to the arrangement to go with the theme! Ordered a lei for my daughter's graduation in the mainland. They took my order, called me to confirm as the date approached. The lei was nicely packed and stamped with the state agriculture approval to avoid all that hassle at the airport. The box fit nicely in my carry-on bag for easy transport. When I arrived in Arizona. I opened the box to put the lei in the refrigerator as recommended. The lei was wrapped in newspaper and ti-leaf with an ice pack to keep it fresh.
