We had our flowers done for our wedding and most of the flowers were beautiful! Except the table centerpieces. What I wanted (and what was written in the contract) was "greenery and loose blooms". Our tables had a handful of wilted eucalyptus and that's it. I could have done better by just going to Trader Joe's and getting fresh eucalyptus and baby's breath. I reached out to Debbie after the wedding with my concerns and after sending her 4 emails I still have not heard back and my wedding was in May. Very disappointed by their communication and inability to uphold the contract that we signed. When we first met Debbie, we were desperate. Wedding florist after wedding florist treated us like our business wasn't valuable. No returned calls, completely missing the mark with mockups. I called Flowers Etc. because they were on our wedding venue's preferred vendor list. I had already been to several florists so I pretty much knew how the consultation would go and questions that would be asked. I met with Debbie at the end of March regarding my August wedding. When we met, I have to say I really liked her. She was enthusiastic and very flexible with what I wanted. At the end of the consultation, she said she would be sending me an estimate via email. She wrote down my email and I confirmed that it was correct. I knew she had my correct email, however, because we set up the consultation via email. After a couple of weeks, I still had not received the estimate and thought, "Well, maybe she's just super busy." So I called with a 'gentle' reminder and gave her my number again so that we could talk about the estimate. Nothing...no return phone call , no email. So, I called again after having waited 4 weeks. Nothing. I want to give her business etiquette a one star....the only reason I'm giving her two is because she was very accommodating during the consultation. It would have been nice to go with her but when there's no return phone calls or emails after one month, why should I bother. There's a million florists out there and planning a wedding is a lot of stress. I'm not going to spend my time trying to chase a florist for the estimate! read more

I used Debbie for my wedding florist in September of 2012. I had my consultant with her and she was great, professional and priced right for what I was looking for. I made a few changes throughout the wedding planning process and Debbie worked with me on everything to make sure I was happy. THEN my wedding day approaches and I walk out of the bridal locker room to see that my vases were the wrong color (supposed to be black but were clear so you could see the flower stems) I was devastated for about 5 minutes and then realized there was nothing I could do and had to deal with what she brought. I learned a valuable lesson to always talk to the person and verify what they have is what you want. My centerpieces were still gorgeous, but would have been better with black vases. The actual design of the centerpieces was beautiful. However, I very specifically said that I wanted pink flowers and did not want ANY purple flowers. The mock-up had the pink flowers, but on the day of our wedding, half of the flowers were purple. I was so disappointed when I saw them. To make matters worse, all of the ceremony isle flowers were purple, so they are in almost every picture. My bouquet looked nothing like the pictures I had shared with Flowers Etc. However, my bridesmaids bouquets were right on the money. If I could do it again, I would go with another florist. The mistakes just weren't worth paying a few hundred dollars less than I would have paid another florist. read more

I had my wedding done by Flowers Etc and was so excited to get my flower arrangements done by them. It was chocolate orchids and pale pink flowers with tree branches mixed into the arrangements. The owner did a mock set up for me and it was exactly what I pictured. She asked me to bring in ribbon that matched my dress so they can use it on the vases to coordinate colors. It seemed too good to be true....and it was. My wedding planner thought it would be nice to walk me through the banquet hall and take a look at the room. The flower arrangements were off color (used ordinary pink orchids for the centerpeices) and they didnt even use the ribbon I had purchased. The twigs and the flowers were more scarce than the mock-ups that were presented to me when I signed my contract....and they forgot the candles that were supposed to be hanging in the walkway flower centerpeices. Talk about not paying attention to details. (IF you've had a wedding you know how frustrating it is when things aren't just right). FYI, this place is not cheap either. I meant to complain to the owner, but after the wedding and spending time away on our honeymoon...it slipped my mind. read more
