We were on a budget but flowers MAKE a wedding. They set the stage and are in most pictures which last forever. Even though I chose expensive types of flowers, her price was very good. Her staff discreetly moved the flowers to do double duty from outside ceremony space to the lovely inside room. Tall centerpieces plus low ones graced the long tables. DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST! The floral arrangement that was advertised online was not what was delivered. I decided to order flowers for my mom's 4 month death anniversary and have them delivered to her home where her ashes are at. I found a beautiful arrangement with long stemmed red roses and a tall vase. The flowers were delivered and my dad sent me a picture, they did not look anything like the picture. Not only was it a short vase, but the roses were not long stem, and it had added white flowers to it. Don't get me wrong Lillie's and hydrangeas are beautiful but I chose that specific design for a reason. I called the florist and Yu she gave me excuses as to why they couldn't make the design I chose. I told her I COMPLETELY understood but would have liked a call to explain that to me beforehand so I at least had the option to choose their alternative design or a refund. I wasn't given that choice, they tried to deliver something I hadn't ordered. The designer stated that she would go pick up the flowers and deliver my design on a different date, but that she couldn't guarantee the design I chose since she didn't have the vase. I told her that I would just prefer a refund instead, she then stated that they would refund me but pick up the arrangement from my moms house. I have never dealt with any type of business that does this... I am NOT trying to get free flowers, but that is just so unprofessional to me. And I would not want to put my dad through that when he is already mourning the loss of my mother. The designer also kept saying things like "be thankful we are alive to fix and resolve this, I had a friend who just died of covid".... Ummmm i just lost my mom to cancer, 6 days after being diagnosed.... So please don't tell me what I should be thankful for or to be considerate of. I got extremely frustrated and just hung up and left it as is. I didn't have the energy to argue with her or try to make her understand how ghetto it is to go and pick up the arrangement and then possibly not have a replacement until the next day or a few days later. I was missing and mourning my mom on this anniversary and this florist turned an emotional and intimate moment into an ugly situation. Update: They called the following day and stated they would create the right design and deliver them to my parents house. IT WAS NEVER DONE! So I'm keeping my review as is read more

Maribel made the most beautiful tropical sprays, and centerpiece for my brother-in-law's funeral. My in-laws are Samoan, so having the tropical flowers meant a lot to the family. Several of our guests commented on how gorgeous the flowers and decorations looked. Maribel took care of the flowers for our wedding. At the time, the wedding was in Huntington Beach, I was in Austin Texas and my Husband was in Berkeley. I spoke with Maribel on the phone, and she was SO flexible with helping us create the vision we wanted. I saw Maribel's work through a friend's wedding pictures and I liked her work so I thought I should meet with her during my quote process. I'm so glad I did because once I got a chance to talk to her, I was sold. At our initial meeting, she was very open, listened to all my wedding ideas, and I never felt rushed or pressured to go with her. I knew from talking with her that she actually cared about all my details because she wanted all her brides to be happy. Flowers is not only her business, but also her passion. Once I booked her, I met with her several times afterwards because I had so many questions plus I was still indecisive with a couple ideas so I kept making changes. She was more than happy to meet with me. We met a couple times afterwards and each time it was from an hour to a couple hours. Not only because I was the typical nervous bride, but because we got to know each other on a personal level and got caught up in talking about everything. Maribel is one of the most down to earth, honest, and sweet person I've meet in awhile. I also like to note that you not only pay for flowers, you get a gorgeous tablescape with your flowers. She will use her inventory of candles, vases, tealights, etc to set the mood for your flowers while other florist make you rent them and charges you an arm and a leg. Fast forward to my wedding day...when I saw everything we discussed come to life, I was so over joyed. My personal belief is that flowers set an atmosphere for a wedding, and what she was able to pull off was more than I could have asked for, Not only is her work amazing, she is also very reasonable in pricing. My mom was going into a major surgery today, so I ordered flowers for her from Blooming Branch. I live in Hawaii so my sister found this florist on Yelp since it was close to the hospital. I called a few hours before they actually opened, and luckily Stella picked up the phone. I told Stella my mom's situation, gave her my budget, a time for delivery and she said she'll take care of it and make sure that the flowers are beautiful. When she asked me what to put on the message, I also gave her 15 names to to write in (from us siblings and our spouses and children). Stella was very patient in writing down all the names, and repeating them at the end. She also made sure that it was going to be delivered to the right place, so she also confirmed all the details before I hung up. My mom said she received the flowers and that they are GORGEOUS and it really brightened her day, and helped her with the recovery process. I was very happy with the service I got from The Blooming Branch. I found Maribel to be knowledgeable, helpful and kind during the planning process. I really didn't know what exactly I wanted/needed to make my venue space look good for the least amount of money. She gave me some options and let me choose which I liked best. I didn't feel pressured at all to spend thousands extra. She also has worked with my venue before and made some recommendations that were right on. For example, the outdoor space where my ceremony was gets a bit windy in the afternoon, she knew that in advance and suggested that we use short vases for the ceremony flowers then switch to tall vases when those arrangements were brought inside. I loved my bouquet. All the flowers and greens she used were in balanced and looked elegant. I could not be happier with the way all the flowers turned out. read more
