Flowers For Dreams boasts some of the most gorgeous bouquets in the city. I have both received and given their arrangements and they're always gorgeous. A small bouquet without a box or vase is only $35, but their smallest size is still incredibly generous. I withhold the fifth star because both times I've opted to pick them up myself from their storefront, their front desk staff has not been particularly warm or welcoming. They seem bored and uninterested, and during my latest encounter, explained that the hand-written card (something they advertise with each bouquet) hadn't been written yet and told me I could write it myself. Not ideal...but also not a deal breaker, I suppose. I will definitely keep using Flowers For Dreams, but will try using their delivery service next time with the hopes of a more pleasant experience! read more

I was very disappointed with the floral arrangement that I sent my mother . The flowers were small and a few looked wilted and like the arrangement was just thrown to gather . Overall the flowers were pretty and I liked the vase that I picked it was very nice . spent 70 and it looked like my mother was sent a small and not a medium . I can't even imagine what the small looks like smh . I do like that you can order online and it's easy . I don't like that you cannot set a time to deliver the flowers or at least a time range . So basically the person who's getting the flowers probably has to wait around for them . I don't know how they do with big events but just for sending someone flowers I won't use them again . I would rather go to Costco And get the flowers and arrange them Myself . I LOVE THIS COMPANY. I first saw their truck when I was wandering around west loop and loved the idea that there was a charity that benefited from their sales each month. My boyfriend ordered flowers for me and they were being delivered while I was at work. They called me and left me a voicemail to tell me that they left the flower by my front door. I also recently ordered some flowers for my friends birthday. They usually have 4 bouquets that you can choose from. They have different sized bouquets that range from $35-95. On top of that you can choose from a couple containers, if you don't want a container then the flowers come wrapped in burlap, which is also beautiful. I recently stopped at their free flower Friday where they gave out free mini bouquets. I was also able to go on a short tour of their place. We were able to see people working everywhere, from day to day bouquets, to prep for weddings. All of the employees were super friendly and answered so many questions! Staci and the Flowers for Dreams provided floral and decor for our wedding back in September 2019. We were blown away with their work. From the initial consultation with Staci, I could tell she immediately understood the vibe we were aiming for. Staci is one of nicest people I've met, she's very easy to talk to and can translate vague ideas like "goth, but not really" into beautiful pieces of work. The proposal Staci created was very detailed and the best part was there was no ambiguity in pricing. When I went to see the samples, I knew choosing Staci and F4D was the right decision. They were one vendor we did not worry about at all, we had total confidence they were going to deliver. FFD was one of the absolute best decisions we made for our wedding - the florals turned out amazing (which was really important to us!). From the initial call, I could instantly tell that Casey understood our romantic garden theme and vision - the proposal was spot on, and she was so responsive and quick with any changes. She was creative in her suggestions and very mindful of the budget, helping us achieve the impact we wanted within the constraints we had. When we had our in-person preview a month before the wedding, it came together better than I could have imagined (and flawlessly matched our invitation suite despite the fact that she had not seen it!), yet somehow at the wedding it was even better! Our guests truly could not stop commenting on all of the florals. As an added and important bonus, a portion of FFD's proceeds are donated to amazing local charities, and they repurpose the blooms vs. throwing them away at the end of the night. Came home from a trip to see my boyfriend and got notice that I had a package waiting for me outside. I got home extremely late and went outside to find a beautiful floral arrangement waiting for me! The flowers were LOVELY and I was so surprised with the beauty. There were a bunch of different types of summer blooms and I cannot even tell you how happy flowers make me. They do something so positive for my energy. Upon looking at the flowers, I sent a photo to the FfD IG and thanked them. There was one somewhat sad-looking flower that perhaps didn't make it outside all day (not their fault- I was extremely late as I worked a very long day that day) and the IG staffer offered to replace the flower! Not just that- but they asked for my work address and had the WHOLE arrangement re-delivered to my work, free of charge! EXTREMELY unnecessary and I actually felt a little bad at first but then the second arrangement arrived and my breath was taken away again by how gorgeous they were. My boyfriend was grateful that this is a reliable Chicago company that he can count on for quality guaranteed :) I love flowers so much, and love preserving them. 2 times delivery two times disappointments. All flowers for so shaken they were broken in half. Nothing to salvage. Insufficient communication. They call you and font leave a number. When you call back the number it gives you another number 10 digits less than 2 seconds. Unable to catch. If you try more than 4 times to call that number to hear the other number it disconnects. Poor arrangement. I would be better of getting something from Aldi or Jewel-Osco. They were left outside without leaving a message under snowy cold they And this was their second delivery So we already forgave them for the first one. Did not want to make a deal out of it. So extremely disappointed. This is the 2nd time I am ordering from them and the first time was ok but this last order with them is ABSOLUTELY horrible. It smelled like cigarettes and the arrangement was a disaster. I ordered a little arrangement for my boss for her birthday yesterday and its falling apart today. She works from home & was home all day, so it's a bummer they didn't even attempt to contact her to deliver them. Flowers are most commonly sent as a surprise, so they can't just be left outside like a package, how would the recipient know they are there? When I emailed them to work out a solution I received a curt & unhelpful response suggesting that next time I reach out within 48 hours or else it's not their problem.
