They were having an event: Making colorful paw prints into pretty pictures. Either a butterfly or flowers! I love flowers so that waa my choice! There were a dozen different color shades to choose from: from orange to yellow; blue to green, red to purple. Harvey is so nice, friendly and helpful! She explained to me the complimentary event! I got to pick the colors: purple and yellow for my flowers. We got Haru chan to put his paw in the colored paint and place it on the white poster board. Then i got a couple paint brushes to paint the stems for the flowers! Such a fantastic Event with free salmon treats and lavendar wipes! This most recent stay, she was extremely dirty--her fur was greasy, she smelled strongly of urine, and she looked like she had been living in an unclean environment. Before boarding, I asked if I could see the kennels and where the dogs sleep, but they refused to let me. Looking back, that should have been a red flag. They always ask if you'd like to pay for a bath before pickup. This time I declined because of the extra cost, and when I picked her up, it became obvious why they push that service. A dog shouldn't come home filthy simply because you didn't pay for a bath. After one bath at home, her eyes were already much better within a day. I won't be bringing my dog back, and I would not recommend this facility.

One of the rare groomers that doesn't require the dogs to come in very medicated or totally not biting like Petco does. We called on Saturday and were able to squeeze her in on Monday. When we came in, there was a steady flow of people dropping off their pets. It took about two and a half hours for my dog's grooming. Unfortunately, my dog didn't allow the groomer to brush her teeth but hopefully it can be done on the next visit. They also offer obedience training lessons and an actual dentist that comes in once a month. If you're in the area, give Andy's Pet Grooming a try.
