You get all the comfort of a home routine, without the mess, plus access to the right tools to do it properly. All you need to bring is your dog and any special shampoo or treatment. They take care of everything else. I love having this option. Plus, since the dog is more comfortable than at home, and with their human, the experience promotes awesome bonding. The staff is kind, willing and of course, dog lovers!

After his…read moreappointment, BOTH of his ears became severely infected, leaving him in obvious pain and discomfort. He has been walking around with his head tilted to the side, crying, and even snapping when anyone tries to touch near his ears because of how painful they are. Watching him suffer like this has been awful. I had to rush him to the vet at 9am and spend an additional $400 for treatment, medication, and care due to the severity of the infections. What makes this even more upsetting is learning that your groomers are trained to bathe dogs without using cotton balls in their ears. That seems incredibly counterproductive and unsafe, especially considering how easily water can get trapped and lead to ear infections. Louie has never experienced anything like this before, and it is heartbreaking seeing him in so much pain over something that should have been a routine grooming appointment. I also have videos showing the condition he was in afterward, including the head tilt and discomfort he's been experiencing. I expected professional and safe care for my dog, and instead I was left with a traumatized dog, a stressful emergency vet visit, and hundreds of dollars in unexpected medical bills. I truly hope management takes this seriously so no other dog has to go through this.

The first couple times we used Sitter4Paws we had a really great experience with the sitters that were assigned to our senior, diabetic cat. Last year, my mother unexpectedly passed away, and our regular cat sitter was unavailable for half of the trip home. We booked Sitter4Paws the second half of the trip, and let them know about the circumstances and requested sitters that had seen Jodie before so that we could rest easy during a very difficult time. Of course we know that can't always be accommodated due to scheduling, so for the first visit a new sitter came to see Jodie. On the evening of my mother's passing, we got a text from Sitter4Paws that the sitter felt he may have made a mistake with our cat's insulin dosage. It was revealed to us that instead of giving her her normal 2.25 unit dose, he gave her 22.5 units - ignoring the taped off/labeled syringes, our explicit written instructions in the app, and additional photos/diagrams of what a full syringe should look like. Thank god he realized his mistake, otherwise our cat would have slowly died alone in our apartment - and this would have happened immediately after losing my mom. I understand mistakes can happen, but the fact that a sitter was uncertain with potentially life-threatening medication if administered improperly and didn't even think to reach out to us first was quite shocking. Sitter4Paws took full responsibility, admitted their mistake, said they would take steps to make sure something like this would never happen again, and covered her 4 day ER stay, but it never should have gotten to that point. Again - we did have great sitters who took care of our cat wonderfully - but the uncertainty of who you can get especially with medication involved means that we can no longer recommend this service with confidence.

From the very beginning, they took the time to understand my dog's personality and needs, and created a training approach that actually works for him--not just a one-size-fits-all method. I've already seen such a huge difference in his behavior, confidence, and overall happiness. What I appreciate most is how they've also helped me become a better, more confident handler. They explain everything in a way that's easy to understand and always make sure we feel set up for success. If you're looking for someone who truly cares about your dog and goes above and beyond, I highly recommend them. My foster pup is already on his way to becoming the best version of himself thanks to their help

I'm so long overdue in writing this review for our beloved Happy Heart Pet Care! I don't even know…read morewhere to begin in describing how much I credit Anna Marie and Matt for supporting and caring for my girl Moxie (and honestly, me too). I adopted Moxie at about 6 months old after she was found wandering the streets, and she came to me with a lot of anxiety, reactivity, and gaps in early socialization. We needed real support, structure, and patience. On top of that, I work 12-hour hospital shifts, so finding a place I could trust--somewhere that would care for her with the level of love, safety, and consistency I wanted--felt impossible. Then we found Anna. Anna is extraordinarily knowledgeable about dogs with trauma histories, reactivity, and anxiety. She balances structure and boundaries with genuine warmth so Moxie feels safe and gets to live her best dog life. She helped me understand my own dog better, taught Moxie how to regulate and interact in healthier ways, and created a routine that transformed our day-to-day. Matt is equally wonderful--gentle, attentive, and always in tune with what each dog needs. She is also incredibly flexible with drop-offs and pick-ups, which is absolutely essential when you live and work in Los Angeles. Her reliability and understanding have made it possible for me to manage long hospital shifts without worrying for even a second. Moxie has a forever Auntie in Anna Marie, and Anna will always have my deepest gratitude and love. If you're looking for someone who will love your pup, keep them safe, understand their quirks, and support you as an owner--Happy Heart Pet Care is truly the best there is.

My cat pictured in my original review passed away a few years ago and after she passed I decided I was ready for a dog and along came Georgie. A goofy, fluffy, loyal Goldendoodle. His fur is on the curly side taking after his poodle genes. I've taken him to Posh for a bath and haircut several times and he's been to daycare many many times. I've never really had a bad experience. However, this most recent time was extremely disappointing and quite literally heartbreaking. I made an appointment for a haircut and bath + daycare. When I arrived I was greeted by their friendly staff as always then by Jeanine. She was pleasant and friendly but had all of these additional charges that she added on at the beginning of my service. I'll break it down below and explain. Mattes: my dog had mattes on his legs and body. I was aware and was prepared to pay the fee to take them out. Poodle feet: she said there was an additional fee to shave his feet? However at the end I didn't see any sign of poodle feet. Flea bath: because of the itching she recommended a flea bath, granted she did find 1 singular flea on him so that's fair. I also mentioned to her that he is on a flea medication. I check him regularly and have yet to find a flea. Shave fee?: additional charge to shave him I guess Cancellation fee: I live 2 hours away (recently moved out of the area) but wanted to stay loyal to Poshpetcare. Unfortunately I had made an appointment in March and had to reschedule for the following day within the 24hr window so they charged me a cancellation fee. I've never canceled within 24 hours and have been loyal to them For many years. This really hurt my feelings. I wouldn't cancel last minute and mess with someone's money. I simply rescheduled for the following day. They had lots of availability too so it's not like the appointment time was in high demand. When my dog came out he literally looked like a rat. His beautiful fur had been vandalized. It broke my heart and I just felt so bad. Like how could someone do this to him? If this was going to be the outcome they should've turned me away or shown me pictures of the absolute horror I was not prepared for. The poor front desk man knew how devastated I was. I got into my car and literally wanted to like blow up but I had to keep my cool bc I'm an adult lol. I've put two pictures below. One of his haircut done by Puppy Prom on 3rd and another by Poshpetcare. I go between the two businesses because Puppy prom isn't open on weekends and Posh is. I spent $300 for him to be shaved and given an uneven head haircut. I'm absolutely devastated. He's still the same happy pup but I just feel so bad that I did this to him. I highly recommend any Doodle owners take their pups to Puppy Prom on 3rd st. It's less than a mile away. Ask for David. He's the owner and will make your pup look like an absolute show dog. Also, everything is included in their flat rate. No "poodle feet" or "extra shampoo" fees. I've learned my lesson and do not plan to return to Poshpetcare. After spending over $12k in services over the years, my heart is broken. If you're a cat owner, I highly recommend Sabina at Poshpetcare. She's an absolute doll and takes exceptional care of your precious babies. Attention Doodle Owners!!! Puppy Prom
