    11/5/2016 Walked by this place several times. We usually bring our dogs for a bath in La Canada, but we decided to try this place out. The waiting area has a case with dog biscuits for sale. Cute cutouts. There's no place to sit in this area. You can peek into their work area where they bathe and groom the dogs. They seem to have quite a bit of groomers here which is great. The price is a little cheaper than Petco which is GREAT. Our dogs looked and smelled good. I liked how the groomer trimmed their fur. She even put on a tie for the dogs! Unfortunately, she forgot to replace our dogs collar which we didn't notice till we got home. She was kind enough to bring the collar to our home the following day. Now that's customer service!! Plenty of metered street parking and also a free lot across the street.

    Needed to find a new groomer for both my Westie and my Maltipoo after my previous groomer and his wife sold their business. I was worried that it would be a challenge to find someone who could do a decent Westie cut, as well as a cute cut on my Maltipoo that would be more teddy bear than poodle (his name is Teddy after all). Decided to give Bath & Biscuit a try since their reviews were promising. I was not disappointed. Danielle did a stellar job on both of my dogs; they look adorable and were happy and wagging their tails when I picked them up. So relieved to have found a good groomer who I can trust with my fur kids. Thank you Danielle.

    I've been bringing my dogs to see Michelle at Bath and a Biscuit for years and could not recommend them more highly. They are efficient, affordable, and great with the dogs who always come back looking amazing! My dogs are big with thick coats and I cant believe how quickly they manage to turn them around - it would take me days. I now live in another part of LA but I still drive back to Montrose every time I want to get the girls groomed because the service is so much better than anything near me. A++ Highly recommend.

    Esther is the best groomer I have found yet! She groomed my 9 month old bernedoodle. She took her time & did such a fabulous job. She really took her time to make sure he was comfortable & taught me a lot about how to keep his hair from getting matted. I have taken him to a few other places that weren't so great. I am so thankful I found her. I would highly recommend anyone calling her!

    Taking your dog into the groomer reminds me of trying to find a good hairstylist. Its kinda tough to find someone who listens to what you want, and does a good job at it. The prices are decent here, and I appreciate that they don't try to nickel and dime you for requests, like other places I experienced. So far I've had Brian groom my Corgi, Blossom. He is an absolute sweetheart, and is really sweet and warm with my fur baby. I especially love that he shaves the hair off under her pads.... something that groomers for some reason don't always do, and I feel that it should be required. She was also shedding like crazy, and I can tell he really took the time to brush her hair out. She's all fluffed and perfect. Thank you Brian! :D

    I just trust them and they always try and fit your dog in it's local it's clean. I've never had a problem.

    I love Lisa and Bath and Biscuit. She's always very accommodating and gives all my pets a great hair cut.

I'm sincerely appreciative of her professionalism and of the groomers' consistent attention to detail with our pup. Supporting local businesses is important to us, and Button Nose has continued to be an excellent choice for our family. ******** I have been bringing my dog here for several years, and my mother-in-law as well as many friends have entrusted their pets to this location for even longer. Throughout that time, my experiences with Judy have consistently been wonderful. She has always been incredibly accommodating, helpful, and genuinely kind when assisting with scheduling my dog's appointments. I'm not sure where she is currently, but the past few weeks have been unexpectedly challenging. After accepting the earliest available appointment--which was two weeks out--I asked to be notified if any cancellations became available. The person assisting me seemed uninterested in honoring that request, despite the fact that Judy has always taken the initiative to reach out and fit us in whenever possible. On the day of the appointment, an unforeseen situation arose at my daughter's school. I contacted the shop in hopes they might be able to work with me, even slightly. I offered to arrive a bit earlier or, if necessary, twenty minutes later. I was told they were fully booked and unable to accommodate any adjustment. Every reasonable option I proposed was met with resistance. I am uncertain who is currently overseeing scheduling, but the level of customer service does not reflect the care and professionalism Judy consistently provided. I sincerely hope that Judy is only away temporarily. If not, I may need to seek a mobile groomer who can offer the same level of attentiveness and customer care that she always delivered.

    Our 9.5 mo old pup Sophie has gone for daycare a couple of times now…read more She wears a Fi collar which lets us know how much activity she's getting; she's getting tons of playtime at Ruff Resort and comes home totally relaxed which is much appreciated by our 12 yr old dog and 17 yr old cat who have a tough time dealing with her energy! It's great to know this facility is available nearby as we don't leave our pup home alone yet and we've struggled a bit with finding ways to keep her occupied. The facility is new and clean with activity and rest areas. We're so happy this doggie daycare/boarding facility opened so close by!

    If I could give this place zero stars, I would…read more I boarded my male 2 1/2-year-old Yorkiepoo here for a weekend and picked him up on Sunday. When I got him back, his stomach and paws were covered in dried up urine and was clearly not acting like himself. Over the next two days, he had rectal bleeding that continued for two days, refused to eat for three days, and was severely dehydrated. I immediately contacted Ruff Resort to let them know what was happening with my dog, but I never received a response. I ended up taking him to the veterinarian, where he underwent multiple examinations. Between the exams and treatment, I spent over $700 trying to determine what was wrong. The vet did confirm he was severely dehydrated. A two day boarding ultimately cost me $1000. After not hearing back, I called the facility today to ask if they were open because I wanted to speak with someone in person. They told me they had tried to text me. They claimed the first message bounced back but that a second message went through. However, I never received any text on my phone. More importantly, if a customer contacts you to report that their dog became seriously ill after staying at your facility, the appropriate response is to pick up the phone and call them--not rely on text messages, especially if you already know one message failed to deliver. The lack of urgency, communication, and concern was incredibly disappointing. My dog's health and well-being should have been the priority, and instead I was left dealing with a very sick dog, expensive veterinary bills, and no meaningful response from the facility.
