I will never use them again after my TERRIBLE experience. Initially used this service for a short business trip with success so tried again for a longer trip to see family between Christmas and NYE. The company sent a sitter I had never met who incorrectly used the pill injector on my sick, elderly cat and forced her to swallow the over inch-long applicator tip. Resulted in $3,000 emergency vet surgery to remove that I had to manage from out of town. So deeply stressful for me but mainly my poor elderly asthmatic cat!! They handled it but SO unnecessary and only happened bc of their bizarre business model where they pick whichever of their employees are available, not someone who knows your house/pet. So if you get one who knows what they're doing you don't necessarily get them again - it's totally random from the customer's perspective. Instead of enjoying my family I had to spend the time managing the emergency they created from afar, stressed and fuming that I trusted this company to send someone competent to care for my sweet older cat. After the first disastrous pill delivery issue they sent the **same person** again a day later who clearly doesn't know how to give a cat medication and she, again, incorrectly gave my cat her medication!!! My cat gets ill if she misses just one day, the medication is a high-dose steroid for her asthma. The employee did not know how to give her the pill, but still marked the medication as administered on their form (I only figured out it didn't happen when I read the notes) and instead of giving her the pill rubbed it on her gums -?!? I am FURIOUS for my poor cat and at the incompetence of this employee they continue to use, along with the management that assured me they know how to give cats medication and yet still sent this individual out after it was proved that they cannot give a cat medication effectively. The other employees seemed to be ok but I had no choice over who they sent over, meaning every visit was a gamble. If you need anything beyond the most basic service, avoid avoid avoid!!!

I spoke before hand with the owner and told her all of my concerns and after a day she called me and arranged for a meet and greet with Gabby (dog walker). On the first day of the scheduled walk my dog did not want to have his leash put on and even growled and showed his teeth to gabby. She was so kind and patient with him!! She spent 1 hour trying to get him to walk with her... she truly loves what she does and it shows!! He eventually got acclimated to her and now he loves her!! Thank you Fetch from the bottom of my heart for taking such good care of my beloved doggie!! They keep a journal of each day's walk and also send you photos and you really feel like your pet is in the BEST of hands!! I highly recommend them!!

Erika, the owner, is very responsive, knowledgeable and open. We initially met her at a dog park so that our puppy could meet her, her pack and some of the dogs in her daycare. We had never taken our puppy to a dog park and were quite nervous, but she gave us tips and feedback that were helpful. After 30 minutes, we felt confident that he would be well cared for and in the right environment for a high energy puppy like ours to get the mental and physical stimulation he needs. During his stay, I shared with Erika that I was having separation anxiety, and she kindly shared various videos, provided updates and assured me that he was doing well. When we picked him up, he turned back to look at Erika with such appreciation and care that we knew he'd had a blast and felt safe with her. If you are looking for a caring, happy and fun-filled place to leave your beloved pet, The Pawhouse Estate is the perfect location. Their prices are comparable and affordable, and their service is excellent! Highly recommend!

For our first actual walk, after our first "meeting" she came 30 minutes early and apparently knocked on our door. Our neighbors saw her come up and just leave as we were home, making lunch so that we could start our day after. She was so upset we didn't "answer" the door she was about to take off. She reluctantly with full on attitude came back up to "walk" our dogs for our practice run. She walked half way down the street and decided she was going to be late for her next appointment and took off. The funny thing is, when I screen shot the actual appointment time, and how she was 30 minutes early- it was her bad. I even went out of my way for not hearing her knocks. Mind you- we have 3 dogs, that will bark to hearts content if there's someone at the door. I'm sure ALL DOG people know this. She's either a scam artist, and/or a narcissist. She refused to apologize, terminated our account and we wasted a day with plans with our daughter because of her mistaken times. She is irresponsible and pretends to be someone she's not. Our community is very small, so I'm surprised she would try to pull a fast one. She not only wasted our day we planned for our daughter but she also makes me worry about her going into people's homes and caring for their pets. Shame on you! The first couple times we used Sitter4Paws we had a really great experience with the sitters that were assigned to our senior, diabetic cat. Last year, my mother unexpectedly passed away, and our regular cat sitter was unavailable for half of the trip home. We booked Sitter4Paws the second half of the trip, and let them know about the circumstances and requested sitters that had seen Jodie before so that we could rest easy during a very difficult time. Of course we know that can't always be accommodated due to scheduling, so for the first visit a new sitter came to see Jodie. On the evening of my mother's passing, we got a text from Sitter4Paws that the sitter felt he may have made a mistake with our cat's insulin dosage. It was revealed to us that instead of giving her her normal 2.25 unit dose, he gave her 22.5 units - ignoring the taped off/labeled syringes, our explicit written instructions in the app, and additional photos/diagrams of what a full syringe should look like. Thank god he realized his mistake, otherwise our cat would have slowly died alone in our apartment - and this would have happened immediately after losing my mom. I understand mistakes can happen, but the fact that a sitter was uncertain with potentially life-threatening medication if administered improperly and didn't even think to reach out to us first was quite shocking. Sitter4Paws took full responsibility, admitted their mistake, said they would take steps to make sure something like this would never happen again, and covered her 4 day ER stay, but it never should have gotten to that point. Again - we did have great sitters who took care of our cat wonderfully - but the uncertainty of who you can get especially with medication involved means that we can no longer recommend this service with confidence.

However, Ken and his team turned out to be amazing, all the great reviews are accurate! They are very professional, respond to emails within minutes, and are always accomodating. To my surprise, she didn't even hesitate and instantly agreed. She was very punctual for our first meet and greet. That gave me comfort that she would be on time for the feeding schedule. I left her written instructions and Tatiana followed them like it was a military operation. She asked a lot of questions which demonstrated that she was not only there for the task at hand, but was there for the wellbeing of my pet. While I was away, Tatiana text me to let me know she had arrived. She sent photos of my pet eating. She left all the supplies as organized as I had left them. She closed the door to my gate as I had instructed her. Heck, she even chopped a chord of firewood for the winter! [Hahah...I don't have a chimney]. My cat's came running to me when she heard the car pull up to the house. But she stopped short when she saw me get out. She had that "OH, it's YOU" look on her face. She went to roam the grounds, presumably to look for her new BFF. YES, Tatiana did a great job!!!
