I was able to drop the car off with the keys in their after hours box and they got back to me early on Monday with a fair price and turned it around that day. The issue was 2 bad coil backs. They advised me that they could just replace the 2, but they usually fail together, and I would save 3X the labor if we did them now, but there was no pressure. Fast Quality work for a quality price will have me coming back. Jill was really nice too, and Paul was very professional. I will definitely be going back, and I would give them a shot. Example: my Mercedes extended warranty expired so I got a quote for out of pocket to do the "service A" or "service B" package. $350 or $800 -- they would decide once they started work. Dealership also said the car needed engine filter for $225 and spark plugs. Keegan's did service A package (plus seal ring and synthetic motor oil ) for $130 and filter for $17.50. Spark plugs are "fine -- do them next year." Altogether, Keegan's saved me at least several hundred dollars and kept me from the gamble of upcharges that are a structural part of dealership service centers. I do not blame the system: it is what it is. There is dramatic overhead for a business selling, financing, and servicing cars -- along with managing an enormous lot. It is expensive and the money must come from somewhere. But once a car's service is out of pocket and IF you still want the best level of attention for the car: Keegan's is an unbeatable shop. So I need to pay the deductible, even though the car has only 20 K under Honda care warranties. The insurance sent me to Boch Honda collision center now, Nucar. They did the most neglected repairs I had ever seen. The front fender was replaced by after-market crap, fade painted with fade spot, and they broke the side left spoiler clips and did not fix them; on top of that, half of the engine compartment plastic clips were missing. They did not replace the PPF on the fender, so we need to recall it. Fender replaced it with paint, which cost over $ 3000. Refrain from repairing your car, or constantly check before to pick up. This dealer provided terrible customer service, as usual.
