If you're looking to bring your special Ed student here, RUN, don't walk and find somewhere else to send them. Promised many different things since the beginning of the school year, and the only promise they kept was switching teachers for our kiddos halfway through the year. A new class was supposed to be implemented with a new teacher, and now he's conveniently "unavailable". I was told my son couldn't be mainstreamed bc they needed to sort out the schedule for the regular classes before they work on the special needs kiddos. Then someone, who I won't throw under the bus, then told the special Ed director that they had big plans to mainstream my son. Lies, built upon lies, not to mention the aids in our classroom are only on part time, and half that time is to break the one on one aids. Our kiddos have been getting hurt due to lack of supervision, and my son alone had 3 head injuries in 2 weeks. Other kiddos have been getting punched and kicked by typical kids and even other kids. Yes things happen, but this has become a consistent problem, and I'm tired of zero accountability on this schools behalf. Just a bunch of "I'm sorry's" and broken promises. Disappointed doesn't begin to describe my feeling, and other mamas I know that have been having multiple issues. To the point 3 kids have left bc they were tired of it.

I remember I had a few good professors - my honors physics professor of my senior year, he wrote me a solid recommendation letter that helped when applying to college. I remember I used to work at a Kumon center in Rancho Cucamonga, and my routine was to go directly to Tam's burgers after school and head directly to work. For lunch time, i remember thinking we had few areas for eating- there was a cafeteria inside, and some tables outside. I didn't know anyone who went inside. A lot of people ate on the grass with there trays. Oh one thing I would like to add is that they have two set of bathrooms, but they had one of the bathrooms closed most of the time. I hated that. I had to wait forever in line for the bathroom or couldn't go to the bathroom between periods. They had a good dual enrollment system that allowed me to graduate early from high school. high school was pretty boring, can't blame the school though. I was just anti social kid and I only focused on work and school. So it wasn't so fun until I got to college

I tried to teach him at home and my son had absolutely no interest - which gets into another whole analysis with learning disorders and what not.. He dropped out 6 times!!!! I explained to my son, you have to learn your ABC's and how to count to 10. He graduated! Then started kindergarten, and had a very hard time. In second grade the school recommended to transfer him to public school For free additional help (Now I believe WCS can accommodate more with disorders in kids as I believe they have an onsite program to assist better). I did send my child to a public school, and he was depressed for the entire 3 years! I worked hard during the recession and told my husband I am placing our child back at Western. And as Soon as I told our son, there was a sense of hope. He returned in sixth grade and graduated high school. Today he is an IT Tech for a mortgage company and has a heart that is open to life with non--judgment. He's trying to figure out how to make this world a better place. If anyone ever wanted to reach out and hear my story, I am willing to talk to you in person through WCS.. But he survived because I put him back at Western and he met his lifelong friends that he still relates with today as life-long friends

My children attend this school…read more Our experience at St. Peter & St. Paul Catholic School has been deeply disappointing and, at times, alarming. I am sharing this so other families can make informed decisions. There is a serious lack of support for students' well-being. My child experienced ongoing bullying and harassment from both peers and, shockingly, her own teacher. This was brought to the attention of the principal, Mrs. Armenta, yet no meaningful action was taken to protect or support my child. The situation was also escalated beyond the school, but nothing changed. Even more concerning, there were instances where a student made repeated threats about bringing a weapon to school, and that student continued to remain in the classroom without what appeared to be appropriate intervention. As a parent, this created an environment where I did not feel my child--or any child--was truly safe. The school culture among staff also raises concerns. There appears to be a lack of cohesion and professionalism, with visible cliques among teachers and a general sense that student well-being is not a priority. Academically, the standards are far below expectations. My child entered 7th grade only to find herself repeating material she had already learned the previous year in public school. Instruction in some classes was minimal to nonexistent. For example, one teacher relied almost entirely on handing out packets, offering little to no direct teaching or engagement. Classroom management was also lacking, with students frequently out of their seats and off-task without correction. Ultimately, my children did not receive the education or support they deserved. Multiple families, including ours, chose to withdraw their children mid-year due to these concerns. I cannot recommend this school based on our experience. Families deserve a safe, supportive, and academically enriching environment for their children, and unfortunately, that was not what we found here. If you want a safe environment, staff with integrity, academic enrichment, a true Catholic spirit, this is not the school for you.
