My children attend this school…read more Our experience at St. Peter & St. Paul Catholic School has been deeply disappointing and, at times, alarming. I am sharing this so other families can make informed decisions. There is a serious lack of support for students' well-being. My child experienced ongoing bullying and harassment from both peers and, shockingly, her own teacher. This was brought to the attention of the principal, Mrs. Armenta, yet no meaningful action was taken to protect or support my child. The situation was also escalated beyond the school, but nothing changed. Even more concerning, there were instances where a student made repeated threats about bringing a weapon to school, and that student continued to remain in the classroom without what appeared to be appropriate intervention. As a parent, this created an environment where I did not feel my child--or any child--was truly safe. The school culture among staff also raises concerns. There appears to be a lack of cohesion and professionalism, with visible cliques among teachers and a general sense that student well-being is not a priority. Academically, the standards are far below expectations. My child entered 7th grade only to find herself repeating material she had already learned the previous year in public school. Instruction in some classes was minimal to nonexistent. For example, one teacher relied almost entirely on handing out packets, offering little to no direct teaching or engagement. Classroom management was also lacking, with students frequently out of their seats and off-task without correction. Ultimately, my children did not receive the education or support they deserved. Multiple families, including ours, chose to withdraw their children mid-year due to these concerns. I cannot recommend this school based on our experience. Families deserve a safe, supportive, and academically enriching environment for their children, and unfortunately, that was not what we found here. If you want a safe environment, staff with integrity, academic enrichment, a true Catholic spirit, this is not the school for you.

We have had good teachers and not had an issue with communication. Every school has issues and challenges from time to time. However, we love the small class sizes and this school. If you are interested in having your children grow in the Catholic religion I would recommend taking a tour of St. Peter and St. Paul.

Kids Are Being SA at Terra Vista Elementary -- Get OUT NOW!…read more I wrote about this a year ago when I pulled my kid out of Terra Vista Elementary because of serious red flags -- a complete lack of cultural awareness and horrifying reports that children were being SA at the school. Now they're in court, and the attorney has filed an affirmative defense, which, in plain terms, means even if they're not denying it happened -- they're blaming children as young as 3 and 4 years old. This is beyond disturbing. Google is now hiding reviews of the school, but I've reposted the one I made last year right here. Even more concerning: the school is now requiring only Black children to check in -- this is discriminatory, period. My wife and I raised concerns about their cultural insensitivity long ago, and their "solution" was to paint a mural. So if the mural is still up, credit to my wife -- but a mural doesn't fix systemic neglect. I'm sharing this to spread awareness. To the families affected by this: I am deeply sorry. I cannot imagine the pain you're going through. I'm sending you love and blessings -- no one should ever have to endure this.

Yes, the school is great education wise, I went there myself, but I have heard many stories where things were let on when they should've been addressed. Stories where kids were clearly uncomfortable but not atoned personally with. Unless you benefit staff or make them look good, their hearts will unfortunately not be there with you. My mother went to the superintendent office after she heard my brother being bullied because of uncooperativeness, but regardless, I hope the morals of staff continue to grow. Unprofessionalism with teachers as-well.

Ok where do I start? 5 stars, wish I could give more!…read more My daughter is in kindergarten right now, and I have nothing but good things to say about this school. They have an excellent school PTO committee, and support staff. The volunteers and staff are so friendly, it makes it a joy just to volunteer! (I know this because I volunteer from time to time). The school takes a lot of pride in the education, and activities they have for the children (It's evident). My husband went to this school when he was a boy, and highly recommended it when we moved to Rancho. The principal is very approachable and sweet. You can always see her with a big smile on her face at school functions/school. It's so nice to see the care and attention this school gives to the children that attend. I know my daughter will have nothing but great memories when she leaves this school, heck I'll have some too! I normally don't leave long reviews, so believe me when I say...this school rocks! Also, Mrs. Tatum is incredible, (My daughters teacher). My daughter loves her and said she wished she could teach her next year, and the year after... - Nadine Binion (Kindergartener mom)

The staffs are caring and the principal truly cares about kids. A new principal is loving and kind and since she has been there, the culture of the school has changed. The academics are through the roof and your children can feel safe with the new safety systems in place. The teachers and staffs are very talented and provide a family oriented environment for the children. The students are installed good morals and humbleness. I highly recommend it!
