It's typically a busier mall, so I expected a wait, but we got seated pretty quickly. They have indoor and outdoor seating, but we opted for inside. The service was relatively quick and smooth. The staff was pretty attentive and moved quickly. The food was good, I have eaten it before. It looks small in terms of portion size but was pretty decently filling. We got a combo that came with an appetizer (we opted for the broccolini (not pictured because we devoured it pretty quickly). It comes with sesame sauce and is charred pretty well. Really enjoyed that. Main course wise, we got the Shoyu Ramen with Pork and Spicy Tuna Poke Bowl, both which were super yummy. We also got a pint of beer and green tea for drinks, and it was good altogether. I'd say this is a pretty casual spot so no need to dress up. Seating can be a bit tight and it can get sunny due to the open windows without shades, but otherwise, pretty lax and chill spot for lunch or dinner.

I put my number in to get notifications and it didn't work, completely pointless.

The FieldHouse Terrace room is very spacious with amazing views and accommodations for a large, fun party! The food was delicious and the staff made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. The manager Scott and his event team including Kylie, Bri and Donna were incredible! The attention to detail was exquisite and the service was friendly, attentive and professional. The bartenders were awesome and kept with the pace of our thirsty guests! Also, the Audio visual presentation by ProAV was phenomenal as well as their representatives Michael, Noah and Andrew. I'd highly recommend anyone looking to host an event to check out Silverlakes FieldHouse!! It will exceed all of your expectations and make for a memorable and beautiful life events

What a let down to pull up in limos and party buses to an outdoor soccer field with a pond. Worse than Castle Park. This is not what I envisioned for my son's prom and am truly disappointed. An outdoor carnival is NOT a formal event. They could have just dressed casual and at least been warm. This place is NOT the place to hold an event like prom. Terrible decision and a waste of money!

The place has a cool vibe to it hard to explain it in words but felt relaxed as I came in. I ordered some Gyoza on the side and the main meal was the Shoyu Ramen dish with pork as a protein, bamboo shoots, seaweed, spinach, green onion, seasoned egg and pork. I also had a regular Coke to wash it down! Looks really good huh? Ok gyoza is really tasty, a bit of spiciness to it but you can put lemon juice on it makes it good. Ramen is really good also I like it! Check this place out, very tasty food!

Not a lot of places have truffle ramen on the menu so I'll take it. The truffle flavor comes from truffle oil so the taste is pretty subtle. The broth is more garlic forward, it's rich and creamy. They have a bunch of options for toppings to enhance the ramen and it's served in a deep bowl so you're getting a good amount. The space is on the smaller side so you'll usually have to put your name down and wait a bit before getting seated. It's not the most authentic Japanese ramen but it's worth checking out.

We ordered three Blaze Ramen combos, and unfortunately, all three had issues. One bowl (tofu + added corn) came out with pork and no corn. Another (chicken, no corn) came with pork and corn. By that point, my boyfriend didn't want to send the entire bowl back, so he just asked for a side of chicken and removed the pork himself. The third bowl (chicken, corn, mild, no bean sprouts) came with bean sprouts and an overwhelming amount of chili. After dealing with the first two orders, I didn't even want to send it back--I just didn't eat. It was frustrating, especially since we know how good this place can be. The only bright spot was the pork buns--they were excellent as always. Would have been a one-star experience otherwise.

Lots of culture, history, and art on these streets. Love the painted stairs all around and the artwork for the local school and other various buildings. Nice to see hills and the palm trees lining them and the main road as well. Eclectic and "hipster-y" vibes and community, so you get lots of interesting community shops, businesses, and eateries, but also some really high end ones as well. I really liked the super friendly cats that came out to say hi and get some pets at a local hookah lounge and that the local school there has a community garden and chickens. Can't say it's a place I'd regularly seek out and visit, but nice to stop by here and there.

"I've been waiting…read more.. I've been waiting for this moment all my life..." Reflecting on the history of Silver Lake over the last several decades it's amazing to learn and have seen it evolve with time from days of activism in the 60s advocating for equality across the board to present with much more inclusivity. I was born in LA near LAX, but didn't truly start exploring this side of the bustling streets of Los Angeles until about 12 years ago and even in that short span. Neighborhoods have changed, new businesses have popped up and a few great long-standing ones shut their doors. If you're visiting or local walking around this little big neighborhood can be quite fun with a little of everything from cuisine to cocktails. Clothing to cars and even the occasional local events like Off Sunset recently-ish (usually early Springtime each year), a collection of vendors and businesses supporting each other as well as the city of Silver Lake... Open to all and for all much like the city itself!! Transportation of the public variety isn't too bad as local city orange Metro busses such as the 2 or 4 (which run frequently and connect to the Metro B Line aka the Red at Vermont /Santa Monica and/or Vermont/Sunset). Some streets and areas are inclined with certain residences (homes, apartments, condos, and so on) being oddly placed out of the natural foundation, but it's part of the charm much like the Micheltorena Stairs off Micheltorena Street & Sunset Blvd, which does have a metro stop of course. The education system is primarily preschool, elementary, and middle school within the area with a private school going up to 12th just beyond Los Feliz. LACC or Los Angeles City College isn't too far outside Silver Lake for high education, but I'm not sure of too many other trade, career, or college-level schooling facilities within close proximity, but we do have plenty beyond that. Silver Lake has one of the best Los Angeles Public Libraries out of any you might visit, plus it's near the Silver Lake Reservoir and other hidden gems. Some of my favorite haunts in this city are definitely Intelligentsia, Akbar, El Cid, 4100 Bar, My Vegan Gold, The Black Cat, yes... that Del Taco!, Big Mac Liquor, and the Eagle bar to name a few. The best thing/upside about Silverlake is that it's very all-inclusive and welcoming, but the down thing besides the parking is the cost of living. It's creative, artistic, and very trendy.
