This is my favorite Floyd's location by a long shot. The front desk staff is always friendly and welcoming. As someone that is perpetually late (always working on improving that), I sincerely appreciate how accommodating and flexible they are with my schedule. It's a slightly smaller location so can get a little loud during busy hours. But that doesn't detract from the experience for me. Every barber/stylist I've booked with has treated me like a human being, instead of just another chair to turn around as quickly as possible. A welcomed switch up from the common experience of feeling like cattle being herded. I always get a skin fade. One would think this is a difficult haircut to mess up, but that couldn't be further from the truth. I have unique head shape (basically, big and square) so my fade has to sit at just the right spot in order to look right. Shoutout to Airica - she is on point 100% of the time. She is always so receptive to my requests and feedback. Amazing ability to translate my limited vocabulary/knowledge of hair into a cut that I genuinely feel great about when I leave her chair. My go to stylist, Jake, was out sick today! The shop called me ahead of time to see if I wanted to reschedule with a different barber who could do both my haircut and beard trim. I was skeptical of course because Jake does my hair exactly the way I like it. I decided to take the dice and give Shelby a shot. Happily I was presently surprised. Shelby is cute, polite and friendly but best of all she gave me a great cut and beard trim. This was my first major beard trim. I showed Shelby a few pictures of how I wanted my beard shapes and she hit the nail on the head! I will definitely be going back to Shelby to get this looking tip top! Everyone at this shop is super friendly, down to earth and just plain cool! I drive a fair ways to get my hair done here due to the great customer service! Great haircut experience today at this Floyd's location with Michael! Fast, friendly, and efficient service. I've had many straight razor neck shaves before and it's very common to get some scraping and even a nick with a little bleeding so I've almost come to expect this, especially the dragging slight scrape, but Michael has got his technique down! Smooth as silk, no pull or scrape whatsoever. Almost thought he was just going through the motions after clipping my neck until I felt the baby's butt smooth result when walking out (just kidding Michael, I know you were doing some solid skill work all along)! Only feedback for Floyd's leadership: let the shop have some control over the music! I'd love to hear what the folks that work here love to listen to and discover new tracks and get a little more into some real music at a shop they advertises it with the vibe that Floyd's does. Wasted my time. Been coming here for several years. Made an appointment in advance. Confirmed thru text the day before appointment. Show up and wait 20 mins and a different stylist asks if I'm ready. The stylist I booked isn't there. The girl at the front comes up and says "I think they tried calling you" I get things go sideways at times. But to have me sit and wait 20 mins in a shop that had nothing going on - knowing my stylist wasn't there and not telling me. Not a good experience. read more

I cannot recommend this location. I called hours ahead and booked a cut same day based on the availability they told me. I asked for a fade and a little length on top. The barber was pleasant enough in conversation, but completely rushed my 30 minute $40 cut into 12 minutes. This was the sloppiest, laziest, worst haircut of my life. No fade. No blending. The hair behind my ears was left long and messy, even after I expressed this cut was for an upcoming wedding where I hoped to look sharp. Instead I was left looking like Ellen Burstyn at the end of Requiem for a Dream. I'm truly baffled by the experience. I felt rushed out and was told I need to book online in the future. I did call and schedule a re-do for the following day which they honored, but at that point there wasn't much hair to work with, and it should never have happened to begin with - pure laziness. read more

Confession - I have an amazing hair person. I love her, but she is expensive. Amazingly, she is able to do my hair about two to three times a year, so I find her so worth it. However, every once in awhile, I just need a little trim. I could easily go to her, and drop a little less than $100 for a dry haircut. However, that kills me. The whole appointment making, going there, and shelling out that much money. So I decided to try to Floyd's. I made an appointment on Saturday night for Sunday morning, and had plenty of individuals to pick from. Everyone was warm and welcoming from the bottom I stepped in to when I left. It was $54 (with tip) for a wash, a trim, and blow out. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? That is insane! I'll be back for those times I just need a cut to survive a little bit longer. read more

Finally!! A place that I can get my hair cut for a reasonable price!! I have a pixie, so I hate spending $80 on a cut every 6-8 weeks. Each time I've tried a Sport Clips or Master Cuts, I'm left without sideburns and looking more masculine than I would prefer. I called and made an appointment with Stephanie and she was fantastic. I have taken my son to this Floyd's twice. One time he had a woman the next time he had a man. I consider my son very good with haircuts as he is a regularly squirmy five-year-old. Both times the barbers had absolutely no patience with the kid. Today our barber threw up his hands after my son wiped hair out of his forehead and said "that's it I quit." Then when he asked what I thought at the end, I stated that I wanted the sides much shorter like the photo I showed him in the beginning. He said "you should have told me that in the first place." Floyd's lost a loyal customer last night. We went in for my husband to get a haircut and he ended up having an awful experience because of Gary. For a man with rainbow eyebrows Gary is awful, didn't expect it. We walked in at 8:10 and were told there would be a wait which we expected. My husband was called at 9:05 and Gary was assigned. Bad customer service from the beginning since we could tell Gary wanted to go home. Once my husband sat down he asked for 'an executive haircut' and Gary said he should have come in earlier because that takes so long. My husband has had that haircut for like 5 years and I've never seen him sit in a barber chair for more than 20-30 minutes so I call bullshit. He basically shaved the sides of his head and called it good. The whole thing lasted 6 minutes since we walked out at 9:11. We weren't going to complain and just not tip but it was such awful service I couldn't let it slide. I wish he would have refused to pay for the shit haircut but he's much nicer than I am. Went again with my husband and son to get his 4th birthday party haircut. I feel bad writing this because everyone is so nice but look at this! Bruh this place has gone downhill. I went in earlier today, told the person at the counter my name and that I wanted a shave and a haircut. She tells me all they got is two slots later that evening. No problem. I come back later, they have my appointment in the system (same phone number) but not only do they have my name completely wrong, they only have me down for a cut. I'm told there's no time for a shave despite the spot being empty and open for another 2 hours. And then the stylist basically rushed thru the haircut. Not sure I'll be back. We took our daughters here to get a their hair trimmed . The stylists were friendly but the overall experience wasn't so good . For 18.00 we felt like they should at least dry their hair , no wash was included for the price . We left with wet hair, went home to dry their hair to discover it was cut uneven . I want to like Floyd's. The times I've gotten haircuts, fine. But twice now I've been canceled on last minute. And the offer to "come in and see if someone has a cancellation or has free time tonight" is no longer an ok thing to offer while we still are in the midst of a pandemic. I was offered a discount for tomorrow, but a cancellation 20 minutes before my appointment with a very flip and quick apology is one way to lose a customer.
