Was recommended to Fluid Focus from a local bike shop when I got myself into a little bind when adding volume spacers to my rear shock and these guys were fantastic, far exceeding my expectations. You spend a lot of money on a full suspension mountain bike and having good suspension is so important to the quality of the ride, and these guys know there stuff, so if you need repair or tune they got you. Called them up and was able to stop by the same day and drop off my shock. I didn't need major service, but these guys were so helpful and responsive. I didn't expect to get my shock back so quick but they went out of there way to get me my shock quickly and get it to me even after hours - thank you Johnny! Once my older kiddo started riding his bike independently, I promised him I would get my bike fixed and we would go for bike rides. Well, that time came sooner than expected and before I knew it, I needed a bike shop. Fluid Focus is tucked away. If you weren't looking for it, you wouldn't know it was there. Once you pull into the shared driveway, it's wasy to find with parking right in front. Ryan couldn't have been any nicer. I really didn't know what needed to be done but I knew my chain wasn't properly secured, I needed a tune-up and one spoke needed to be replaced, at a minimum. A list of a few of my five star experiences with these gentlemen: I had a Zeb Ultimate that wasn't using all of its travel. They checked out the fork and found that the lower legs had too much fluid as well as the damper. Now I Can use all of my travel and my bike runs much better. I had A Fox X2 that blew up, they ordered the parts, had it rebuilt and back to me within a week. They have also rebuilt a DVO Onyx Fork and Fox DPS Shock for me as well. They are always friendly and give tuning and service advice. I live close by and they tell me every time I'm there to come back if I'm not happy and they will make it right. I haven't had to do that yet because they are great at their job, but I appreciate that they offer. I appreciate the Fluid Focus Team and wish them many years of continued success. Great shop, fast turnaround, very helpful and knowledgeable owner and staff, explained all the details and settings, gave me printouts of all the settings, and have these online as well for reference. This is a review for the 2nd time I've had F-F service my suspension. Similar to air suspensions, the coil fork & rear shock on my bike are just as dependent on clean fluids and internals. After one year of use, the slow but progressive degradation of the performance is hardly noticeable. BUT.... once I got the bike back, I can honestly feel a big difference. Very much so for the "small hits" and basic tracking and traction. DON'T put off suspension service, you deserve to get the most of the rig you are riding. F-F is the place to have this done, hands down. read more

Ryan is a consummate pro! Really legit no glam shop that's clean and ready to take on your MTB suspension. Ryan rebuilt my Fox shock, fully adjusted it to fit me weight and riding style, then he trued my wheels and actually de-tensioned and re-tensioned my spokes to make my wheels round again (somebody didn't build them very well) and Ryan made that right. Ryan is very knowledgeable, friendly, and was very willing to spend time to answer my questions. He serviced my 2014 Fox Float CTD shock that had no noticeable difference in climb mode vs descend mode. The shock was also bobbing all over the place. On the phone I told him the issues I was having with the shock and he diagnosed it in seconds without even seeing the shock. He was also able to outsource a stiffer spring for the climb mode that Fox did not carry anymore. Ryan got my shock on 2-14-19. He was able to get the spring from the east coast, service the shock, and had the shock back to me by 2-23-19. The shock works better than it ever has in all the modes. The climb or pro pedal mode is way stiffer and finally works the way it should. I am very happy with the shock service that Ryan did. Ryan was very professional, efficient, and I would highly recommended him. read more
