Chelsea, the service mechanic who worked on my bike, did a fantastic job, and Natalie was also very helpful throughout the process. Upon drop off of a rim and hub for a wheel build, I explained I had left it at Bike Bling in Escondido for six weeks. Bling kept giving me the run around. The guy there finally told me he didn't know how to figure out the spoke length. I explained this to the young lady working the counter at Trek, she said this build was no problem for them, she said they had a girl there who's the wheel guru. Four hours after drop off, I received a call from Trek, my wheel was built! That is outstanding 5 star service! Thank you Trek North County!

I came to him because I'm a novice and had a Schwin sitting in my garage with a broken wheel. I am post op 6 weeks on my knee and needed a bike to give me some low impact movement. I wanted to know if it was even worth spending the money on getting it fixed or buying myself a new bike. Upon evaluation, George told me he was able to fix and tune up my bike at a cost that was much less than getting a new one. He kept me updated on shipment of parts and what he was currently working on. His best form of communication is through texts. Not only is George knowledgeable, George is passionate about his job and the people he helps. He made me feel comfortable as a novice biker because he answered my "newbie questions" without judgment or in a pretentious tone. George also explains things in a way that you can understand. I checked reviews of other locations and settled on Rev endurance. First time using George and all I can say is that I wish I had found him sooner. This level of quality and customer service is almost impossible to find. I thought there were a few small issues with the bike but George found quite a few things that needed attention and even sent me a video showing me the issues. Called me when the bike was ready and I collected my son from school and drove to collect the bike. Now for the best part of the experience. Normally I go in, pay and leave. This time, George invited both my son and I into his store and went over everything he had work on and repaired. Explained in detail what had needed fixed and explained to us in detail everything about his service. He helped us with tire pressures and saddle position which we adjusted after for my son's benefit It was a great experience overall for both of us and the quality of his work is second to none. And to top it off my sons won his race and also had tie fastest bike time for a junior on the bike course Will not hesitate to use again. You don't find quality like this that often. Even my son remarked that "he sure knows his stuff" 5 stars is the bare minimum he should get. There's a review on his YouTube channel of what he worked on with my son's bike. Well worth watching

This Bike Shop has closed (both of them)! First, I have purchased a few High End Bikes from Marc previously and while he's a little prickly, his advice has always been sound, if not a little off-putting. Even years ago it was hard to tell if the shop was going to be open or closed, so you had to call and make arrangements ahead of going there. It was one of those places where advice was good, but customer service was always lacking. Now, if you go to the old website it links to a new site called Seven24 Bicycles. The new website lists some pretty attractive bikes at very good prices, but it fails to mention that these are all old models that he's attempting to move on to clear out his stock from the stores. This presents two issues: - The shop is no longer listed as a dealer for the bikes he sells. Not sure if these bikes come backed by any manufacturers warrantee. I seriously doubt that any of the manufacturers will warrantee a 2021 model first sold in 2026. I'd confirm my suspicions with the owner, but he refuses to answer any calls, emails, or texts. - Marc (the owner) is very difficult to get in touch with, if you call it says to email, if you email he replies saying to text. Took a few attempts, but finally got in touch with him. Made arrangement to meet him at a non-retail facility on a Friday after he said it was the best day to meet up. Friday morning as we were in route, he cancelled on us and said we'd need to meet on Sunday. Sunday morning we drive to his "warehouse" (30+ minutes each way) and he's a NO SHOW! Waited a half hour and called and texted with no response, I have called, texted for a week now, he refuses to respond. We ended up buying one bike from Trek there in San Marcos and one from REI in San Diego. Don't bother with this guy, it's a waste time your time. It's pretty clear he doesn't need customers.

I am giving Green Flash 2 stars based on a severely rushed recent inspection and the poor quality…read moreof their past repair work. Recently, I had them come out because I suspected termites in one of our rafter tails. To their credit, they correctly identified that specific spot as just fungus and didn't try to oversell me on treatments I didn't need. However, their inspection was incredibly brief. They spent only a few minutes scanning the house, didn't check the attic at all, and gave us the all-clear. A couple of days later, I had a second company come out for another look. They spent almost an hour doing a thorough inspection and found a severe termite infestation in a different rafter tail that was almost entirely hollowed out. They spotted the signs right through the paint. Green Flash completely missed this. On top of the missed inspection, the wood rot repairs Green Flash did for us 5 years ago (costing about $1,200) have both failed and need to be redone. They spliced a rafter tail that is now loose, and it turns out they miscut a replacement barge board on the back of the house. To cover up the bad cut, they glued a scrap piece of wood over it, which has since detached and is currently hanging off the board. Bottom line: They failed to do a thorough termite inspection, and their carpentry work doesn't hold up. I highly recommend getting a second opinion on their inspections and hiring a dedicated specialist for any actual wood repairs.

"How did this ever happen??!", noticing a buttonhole that needed a small amount of repair. She automatically took the shirts and hung them up on her to-do rack making it somewhat uncomfortable for me to say thanks, but no thanks. It was then I wanted to know how much the bill would be, and she replied $24. I then grabbed the shirts off of her rack and bid her a good day. I have seen this same tactic used at different types of repair shops where the owner overly dramatizes what needs to be done and takes possession of the item prior to discussing the charge or getting approval. In sales that's called the assumptive close, where they act as though they assume you will approve the work and pay their price for the very minimal effort required. Don't fall for it. I have just now received a response from the lady's husband indicating that I must have visited a different shop and mistakenly thought I was in theirs. Absolutely not possible as I've been in several times in the past. Perhaps showing the shirts will refresh her memory and also defend my own. For full disclosure, the green shirt does have a small half-inch rip on the back side.

They got them BOTH done so fast and the work was incredible. Aside from the work, they have great customer service which seems to be hard to come by these days. Highly recommend this place! A few days later, we decided to buy a second EBOX Dragster for me. Even though the Escondido location was out of stock, Bill helped us get one from their OB location and took amazing care of us again with another discount and more goodies. We've watched all of Netflix, tended to the garden, and organized our closets, twice. Luckily, we're also allowed to stay active! Running, walking, and we've recently picked up biking. We were on the lookout for a new bike for my brother and generally, I've always tried to support a local business before looking anywhere else. I think it's incredibly important, especially now that small businesses are being affected disproportionately due to the Coronavirus. I was surprised to learn that Valley Center had a bike shop of its own. So, I reached out to ABC to see what they had in inventory! I was able to communicate with Nick over the phone initially and he made it easy to stay connected through ABC's IG DM, as I was not always available. We settled on a few models after describing my price point and requirements for the new bike. He even lowered the price on a few bikes to better fit our range!!! Nick was patient, flexible, and kind throughout the entire process. Although it took us a few days to set a date, I'm glad we were finally able to meet. You'll be able to find their store on Cole Grade Rd across the street from A1 irrigation. It may be difficult to spot at first, but their store entrance is shared with Solar Rain, the furthest door to the left facing the structure. If you're at the Grangettos, you're at the right spot. Nick and his assistant (sorry I didn't catch his name, but also very friendly) assembled the bike for us and allowed us to give it a spin. We were also looking for helmets, and Nick hooked us up with two, providing us yet another discount (57% off). He also sent us home with a pair of FREE flashing lights for the rear of our bikes, for safety! I was touched. Nick was wonderful! I'm really grateful for his friendliness and heart of service. This is why I support small businesses. He made sure we were set to go before departing. He gave my brother's bike a second adjustment after seeing him ride it, and offered him a free tune up in a few months. I'll certainly be coming to Nick for all my bike needs from here on out, and I recommend you reading this do the same!

I almost didn't even give him another thought when I got his generic voicemail, but I was desperate so I decided to drive by. Short story was I was leaving on a MTB trip and I needed to change out my pedals. On a prior day I had already tried and snapped 1 Alan wrench. Then I tried again and almost bent the second Alan wrench. Took it to one bike shop who actually bent his Alan wrench. Every other place was closed on Mondays so even though Gordon was not answering I decided to go by. I am glad I did. To find the shop, trust in Google. It is tucked way back in the corner of a lot, behind other buildings. If you come at it from Beech it will be much easier to find. Anywho, once I found the place I saw Gordon helping another person who also seemed to be in a pinch. Looked like he needed his rim trued up. He finished up pretty quickly, charged what seemed to be a reasonable rate and the guy left smiling. I was up next. I told Gordon my story and he decided to give it a go. He taught me a little trick of using your foot to deal with pesky pedals. On his initial attempt the wrench went flying. We thought he had snapped the Alan wrench. After closer inspection, the wrench did not break, the pedal actually broke free. His tactic worked! My pedal was free! After speaking with him a bit more he was clearly very busy. But he knew my task was gonna be either quick or a no go. I really appreciate him giving it a go despite failed prior attempts and being so busy. Aside from helping me out of a pinch he also gave me a really helpful tip on pedal removal. Definitely going back for future bike repair/maintenance! Thanks Gordon!
