Worst experience ever and these owners should know how their customer service is being handled. I received an Ernie bike (originally wanted the folding bike but was told they no longer had it) without a battery, notified them same day as it was delivered. I was told multiple time they would send me a battery. Almost two weeks later they are now accusing me of lying. The audacity to say I lost it. Ive saved all the messages of them accusing me of lying. This is no way to treat anyone!! This is the worst customer service! First, Dan is super-friendly, safety conscious and very affordable. I had shopped around and a friend recommended i check them out and after checking out the stock in the shop (by Bobby Riggs and SDA) I decided to support a local business. I had read a lot of reviews of people buying big box ebikes or online stuff and having nightmares Trying to fix stuff. Lo and behold, My son had an accident (he is fine, thankfully!) and Steve repaired it gratis today! (I couldnt believe they were open, let alone able to fix it on a Sunday!) It actually took longer to drive there than the fix. They were out of the part (steering wheel stem) and he pulled it off of another bike they had in stock! Never met Dan or Steve before this, but so impressed with speed and attention to detail. Btw, the stem did not break in the accident, but I stripped the part where you screw it in afterwards. Totally my fault. I am guessing if I had bought a big box brand, there would have been a cost and significant wait for this type of part/repair. Others can probably inform better there. My son asked me to make this post, he loves his bike, its got leather seats, super -comfy and he said its seems better made than a lot of the ones he sees at his school CCA. I'm a mama with zero free time, so me taking the time to write this review shows you that my experience was truly above & beyond anything I had expected!! The owner Dan answered my call a few days prior - He was friendly & had all the right answers. So I stopped in at their location off the 101. Dan was very patient & kind with my kids shenanigans (which I greatly appreciated). He got us loaded onto a bike to test drive & did an amazing job explaining the features available to me & when to use them. I felt comfortable, safe & confident under his instruction. I picked out a gorgeous baby blue bike. Was blown away to see that the stock seat on his bikes are MORE comfortable than a seat I upgraded to at another ebike store for way too much money. His bikes also have a longer leg stride, it was a perfect fit for how I like to ride. Dan gave me a stellar deal - I truly cannot believe the affordable prices he sells his bikes for!! And then for him to offer a discount on top (for paying in cash) & he heard I needed a lock, so he just gave me one for free!! I learned that he used to sell his bikes to the other bike companies, but has begun selling directly to customers - which explains why we are getting such a great price!! When I learned that his company delivers I was very happy (cause another company I bought from did not). AND to top it off, he delivers the same day!! WOW!! After his team switched out the hand grips/seat for the color black I called him & asked to keep the brown instead. I felt so terrible & even offered to pay for his time switching it back. Dan was so cool about it. He rejected my money offer & told me it was no problem at all. Dan, texted me updates so I knew he was on his way & he dropped off my new, shiny, bike right on time. Dan and James were very helpful working thru how their bikes would fit our particular situation ( storing two bikes in the back of a Jeep grand cherokee with the second seat in the up position) and then showing the technology that they have put together in their offering. I have seen several competing offerings, but they have all been internet only purchases, sight unseen, no US customer service and warranty provided by FaceBook! I test rode a few of them before deciding on the folding step-thru ebike and I couldn't be happier (it fits in the trunk of my Camry!). His technicians are awesome and super knowledgeable.
