We bought a return ticket, to and from the airport. The trip to our hotel was fine, but trying to organise a return trip turned in to a horror story. We went on the pearl Harbor tour and needed a lift back to the airport, to fetch our rental car. Whilst trying to organise an appropriate time, the company representative turned aggressive and just put the phone down. We waited for them at 15h00 to pick us up, but to no avail. This meant that I had to pay another taxi to take us to the airport, incurring additional costs. I will never use them nor recommend them again in my life. My receipt ticket is number is not very clear, but looks like 154655. What about the customer is always right? They had my money and did not react according to our agreement. Theft? read more

Saw an AD for this shuttle service and it seemed the least expensive. AD said $12 one way and $20 roundtrip pp. For 3 people (2 adults + 14 month baby) it ended up being $40 roundtrip. But I texted once I landed and they arrived about an hour after I called. It was enough time to get my bags and go thru customs. Than picked us up and ended up taking us fairly quickly to our hotel. It isn't a private shuttle so be prepare to share the ride. The return pick up was prompt and flawless. Definitely give them a call for a airport pickup/drop-off! read more

This company is awesome! Half the cost of others and better/faster service! When we landed the driver was parked and waiting for us and called my cell to tell me where to go. We were from the airport and to our hotel in no time! And the return trip shuttle was a few minutes early even. This company has a fleet of Mercedes vans and you ride in comfort! Nothing but great reviews for this company. For my first time in Honolulu , they offered me the best service ever. Although I was kind of scared to even use this service due to the mixed experiences I read through reviews, I had to truly use it myself. So as soon as I called, they were extremely quick to get to me just waited a few minutes which isn't a problem to me. The driver was so great at giving my family and I the best tourist views and things to do. He was so helpful and so kind. I have had bad experiences with drivers being rude with me back here in Cali but in Hawaii, he was so great. I totally forgot his name but I would definitely go back and use this service thanks to his great customer service. I would like to share my experiences with Fly shuttle service with every potential passenger. I called to schedule a pick up from the Honolulu airport to Waikiki. I was told call back after I landed, which I did. I was told; call back again when I reach baggage claim # 20, so I did. At this time I was told wait 15-20 minutes to get my ride; which never came and I ended up calling an Uber. Another time, I scheduled a pick up from the hotel to catch my flight. Once again, Fly shuttle never showed. In addition their customer service is horrible!!!!!. People who answer phone calls are rude, arrogant, and show no care. Despite the fly shuttl's aggressive advertisement, I would not recommend their service to anybody. Oh, almost forgot, shuttle service is advertised $10 for a ride from airport to Waikiki, but they actually charge $13/person. Please be aware this company's negligent business practice and avoid getting stocked at a hotel or wait hours at the airport. Very disappointing service. Stay away from them. read more

He pulled out drove for five minutes than turned around back to the airport because he forgot someone! What a joke for those who are working and relying on reasonable transportation! We had a very good experience with this company on Pro Bowl Weekend January, 2014. Thai picked us up for the airport as planned and delivered us to the Aqua Bamboo Hotel. He provided great service to and from the airport, as well as giving us good local information. I will definitely use their services again next time we are Honolulu. read more

My pre-paid, confirmed, round trip March 7, 2015 arrival was not very organized partly through no fault of Fly Shuttle. After informing Fly we were leaving baggage claim, I understood they would be picking us up at the red shuttle sign outside of the arrivals terminal. Upon arriving there the SpeediShuttle drivers told me to leave the area as "they owned that space of the curb". I then asked a taxi dispatcher where to wait, he indicated a car rental pick up area, insisting I had the wrong company name, that it was really Firefly Car Rental company I was waiting for. I showed him by Fly Shuttle confirmation and he said he had never heard of them. Obviously, there are some issues at the airport with shuttle services/taxis which passengers should not be having to deal with. I again called Fly Shuttle and he said a shuttle was driving by the car rental pick up curb area. Running back to that area I was unable to flag him down as two very large car rental busses were blocking the road between me and the Fly shuttle. He continued out of the airport not to be seen again. I again called Fly, they said they would send another shuttle. That shuttle driver was able to call me and direct me to where he was, several arrival terminals away. He said he could not drive up to where I was (by the red shuttle sign) as he "would get a ticket if he stopped there". So, dragging my 92 year old mother and all our luggage we walked down to where he was. The driver was a very pleasant young man but made me very nervous by being on his cell phone talking and texting the whole time throughout the drive. Honolulu airport traffic into Waikiki is a real zoo. He was also unsure about where my hotel was, again had to use his phone (while driving) to google map the address entrance. The day before our return on March 10 I called Fly to re-confirm the pick up location and time. The dispatcher had no record of my pre-paid order. I offered to give him his confirmation number but he said that would be of no use. I felt very uncomfortable about this but he assured me that a shuttle would appear the next morming. The shuttle was early with a non-talkative (and non-texting) driver who efficiently loaded our luggage, picked up another couple at a nearby hotel, drove through traffic and had us at the airport within 40 minutes. Very impressive. He asked which airline we were using. I told him I had a flight on United but it appeared Hawaiian would be the carrier. I told him I was unsure if the Hawaiian aircraft would be at the United gate or the Hawaiian gate. He said "it doesn't matter,THEY ARE TOGETHER". So we unloaded, he left and I discovered that the aircraft was at the Hawaiian terminal, which is way across the airport. The United and Hawaiian terminals are not "together", not even close. So we had to wait for a WikiWiki shuttle to take us to the Hawaiian gate. There was a wait for the shuttle (which then broke down) and we had to wait to transfer to another shuttle. This entailed moving all our luggage and my elderly mother. All of which was time consuming and completely avoidable if the Fly driver had delivered us to the proper terminal. He should have known the United and Hawaiian terminals are NOT "together". I'm giving Fly two stars because most of the issues on arrival were not their fault, the arrival driver was pleasant (driving and texting notwithstanding) and we arrived promptly once on board. The two stars reflect my dissatisfaction with the departure on March 10. From not having our reservation to delivering us to the wrong terminal really warrants nothing more than a very generous two stars. read more

We booked a tour with a stand on Waikiki Beach because the salesperson gave us a great price and we wanted to see the entire island of Oahu. It was cheaper than most of the tours I've previously researched about. I was somewhat wary of the low prices but decided to give it a try anyway. Fly Shuttle & Tours showed up on time, outside of our hotel, with a new Mercedes van. We explored the island and enjoyed ourselves. My group had a short trip and we packed in tons of physical activities, so it was nice to ride around the island and get off here and there. Tim was our driver and he was funny and accommodating. He later gave us a ride to the airport as well! The price for the ride to the airport was cheaper than any other transportation or taxi service. read more

We rang from he baggage claim area for a shuttle to Waikiki. The lady we rang took our name, told us where to go and said it would be there in 5 minutes. We just had to walk a few minutes and went straight away. We waited 40 minutes only to be told by the driver that we were not on his list and another shuttle would be along soon and he laughed saying he was only the driver and take it up with our tour company!!!! We explained we had rung the office who told us 5 minutes and it was at least 40 minutes. He didn't care and just dealt with the other passengers. A nother company heard of out plight and took us straight away. With so many shuttle company I would give this one a big miss when arriving in Honolulu. The worst. I called the day before to schedule a 5:15 am ride to the airport. The day the shuttle was scheduled I stood at the pick up location waiting. 15 minutes later I called the fly shuttle number to find out where the shuttle was at. The man who answered the shuttle was extremely rude. He.claim he was there at 5:15 and waited until 5:18 before he left. I was there before5:15. He claimed he picked up 3 people. Which was a lie. Then he proceeded to yell and tell me.he didnt have anymore shuttles to come that way. Next he hung up. Very rude and unprofessional. They are liars. Not dependable. NIGHTMARE, ONE STAR IS TOO HIGH. My daughter is in the Navy and was transferring from Japan to a ship, so we decided to meet in Hawaii for her two day break. I chose Fly Shuttle & Tours because of their great ratings. To reduce stress and make the most of our time together, I prepaid airport pick up and return for both of us. My pick up was fine and the driver, Carlos was very nice. My daughter was arriving from Japan at 11:36 at night; however, she did not arrive to transportation, but a message on her voice mail saying they don't have a shuttle for that late at night. Wait, don't they advertise 24 hours!? Did they not think of that when I prepaid noting dates and times? At midnight, she found herself now trying to find a way to the hotel. When I prepaid, I was told I would need to call the day before pick up to confirm, so since our stay was short I called the next morning around 8:00 am. The man who answered the phone sounded asleep and bothered. I told him I needed to confirm our reservation for pick up the next day and find out what happened with my daughters pick up the night before. He said he didn't know but he would confirm our reservation. I responded, and someone will be there, correct? I know I could have worded it better, but my faith in the company was spiraling down. What I wasn't prepared for is the way he went off on me. He said, forget it, we're not picking you up, find yourself a different shuttle service. I said, but I've prepaid and our time is very short so I don't want to take the time to find another service, I would just like to know that we will be picked up, and on time. He responded, I really don't care lady, find another service. I asked how do I get a refund and he said it beats him. I asked for the name of the manager or owner so that I can speak to them and he said, " look it up" and he hung up on me. The next few hours were spent trying to find another service and a contact for management with Fly Shuttle. I eventually reached a man who said he was the owner. He offered me no apology for the rudeness of his employee or that they never picked my daughter up. He did offer to redo the reservation his employee cancelled, but we had already set up service with Speedi Shuttle ( which was great, by the way). I asked the owner if I could pick up a refund at the airport from a desk or another driver and he said no, he'd have to mail it to me and I would need to send him an email requesting it. I did so, it's been three weeks and still no refund. I contacted him earlier this week and he said he mailed it last week. I asked to confirm the address he mailed it to and he responded...it was the one you gave me. Money, and time lost! UPDATE: After contacting the owner multiple times, he did finally mail me a partial refund. Although it doesn't change the horrible service, it is only fair to share that he followed through, at least in part. read more

I thought we were the only ones this happened to but apparently this is not the case. We bought round trip transportation from the airport to the hotel then back. The ride there was fine but the ride back the driver was very late and made excuses! We wanted to leave at 11am and were in our lobby at 10:50am. Then we proceeded to stand on the corner of the hotel because we didn't want them to miss us. I call at 11:03 and the driver said we weren't there so he went to another hotel. He was obviously lying because we were there early at the pickup location. Also, why would you not look for the patrons? He said that he would come back and pick us up. He kept saying he would be there shortly but by 11:28 he wasn't there so I booked an uber! It's not like we had a flight to catch or anything! *sarcarsm* Especially HNL airport has crazy security lines! So he told me he would refund me back the money for the return portion. Never received anything. Sent them an email twice and it's been a little over a month so I highly doubt that that's coming anytime soon. I would highly recommend that you DO NOT use their service! Due to an early flight and with a toddler traveling; I wanted to make sure that we arrived at the airport with time to check in with TSA, check the bags, etc. My family made the mistake of scheduling a shuttle with them on the morning of 12/31/18 from our hotel to the airport. We called the night prior to make the arrangement and confirmed with a female representative for a 5:15am pickup time at our hotel. On the morning of 12/31/18; 5:15am came and went with no shuttle and no call from the company. I called them at 5:30am (maybe they were running late??), a male representative answers the call and informed me that there was no shuttle schedule to pick my family up at our hotel and then hung up on me. Found out about fly shuttles from an ad on our Hawaiian airlines flight. Called them when we arrived to Honolulu. The driver picked us up and drove us to our hotel in Waikiki. He asked us about whether or not we wanted a round trip and since it was a few bucks cheaper we bought the round trip, pre-paid trip from him. We were headed back to the airport in the morning and booked the shuttle to pick us up at 8am. They showed up 20 minutes late. The driver who identified himself as the owner said our bags were too big and tried to leave us at our hotel with a refund which would have made us miss our international flight. It was the same bags we had the day before, and we had no problems with the driver the first day. After arguing with him he finally agreed to let us in the shuttle. There was plenty of room for our bags in the back. I will never ride with this company again and go back to speedi-shuttle for the future. Since we come to Hawaii a couple times a year we were trying to save a few bucks and try a different company, now I know that Fly shuttles is not worth it. To try and leave a customer who pre-paid for their trip is outrageous when we were dependent on the ride to the airport to catch our flight. If you want to make it to your flight, don't trust these guys. read more

My boyfriend and I flew Hawaiian Airlines on the way there and on the back of the airplane seat was a magazine about Hawaii and there was an ad in there for this shuttle service for $10 a person to Waikiki. As soon as we got off the plane they were right there outside of baggage claim. We hopped right in without even having to make a reservation. The driver was very nice and guided us to different attractions and good local restaurants. We were very pleased and even used them on the way back to the airport going home. Again the other driver was very nice, picked us up from our hotel right at the time we needed and was very kind and courteous. Everyone has their different experiences but I can tell you with confidence that my experience was very pleasant, easy and convenient! Probably the only terrible experience I had in Hawaii druing the 7 days of stay. Came back from Kauai around 9:30, then realized lyft and uber were not allowed in the airport area so hastily called fly shuttle. I was told the shuttle will be there in a few minutes, waited 30 minutes and no one came. Called them again and was told to directly contact the driver. Called the driver five times and the driver never picked up the phone. Called them again and they never picked up the phone again...I ended up using speedi shuttle for $16 per person. Our trip to Oahu was for our 2 year anniversary. I had originally booked another company for pick up and drop off to and from our hotel in Waikiki and HNL airport. I canceled it because I found Fly Shuttle which was much cheaper and offered a Mercedes Benz shuttle van, so I figured why not? We missed our flight, so I called the Fly Shuttle number provided, to let them know we'll be on the next flight which was 2 hours later. So this gave them ample time to plan a pick up for my husband and I. We finally landed into HNL and went to baggage claim H to get our bags. The shuttle dispatcher told us we had to walk all the way to E to get picked up. All the while, we're seeing all the other shuttles pick up their passengers at H. The dispatcher said his driver can't go to H because of the traffic. But, there was no traffic! And so they made us walk all the way to E. We were already irritated. When we got to E, the driver was still not there. I texted the dispatcher and he said "Driver on the way." We waited and looked for the Mercedes they advertised. But instead, a white, beat-up passenger van arrived. Dirty on the inside, trash everywhere and the right side mirror was cracked and broken, as if the driver got too close to a wall or another vehicle and left it broken. He said, the owner was fine with it as long as he can still see whats behind. The driver told us that he's allowed to take this van home and use it for other personal purposes, which I found a bit odd and unprofessional. To avoid traffic, he took us into some sketchy side streets with run down car mechanic shops. He even showed us were the prison was. Wth? Nonetheless, despite the uninteresting car ride, he was kind, humorous and got us safely to our hotel, so we tipped him. On the day of our departure, we had to be picked up at 5am for our flight. I texted the dispatcher at 4:50AM letting him know we were outside of the hotel waiting. He replied "Driver pick up other hotel first." So we waited again. Outside. At 5am. 5:10 came around and the driver arrived with.... finally... the Mercedes van that was advertised. Of course, there were no other hotel passengers in the van. So the dispatcher lied. The driver hopped out, asked for my name, took my bag and placed it in the back. He didn't open the door for us as shuttles usually do, so we got in ourselves and we were on our way to HNL. He made NO conversation with us the entire trip to the airport. He drove erratically the entire way, so my husband and I held onto each other and made sure our seat belts were securely fastened. When we arrived at the airport, the driver got out, took our suitcase out from the back and didn't help with our door. Mind you, the doors to these types of vans were huge and he didn't bother to close it either. My husband still handed him a tip and said "Thank You." The rude driver, took it, didn't say "You're Welcome," looked irritated and got back into the van. He didn't close the sliding door on my side. So he just looked my way and expected me to close it. No class. All in all, you get what you pay for. Cheap cost = Bad service and experience. I would NOT recommend Fly Shuttle, unless they hire a new professional dispatcher who didn't sound like he was just waking up from a nap every time he answered his phone and more courteous drivers. I will never make the same mistake by hiring them again for shuttle service. PS: I texted the dispatcher for Fly Shuttle for the driver's names and he never replied back. Finally received my refund. However came across another issue when trying to make a reservation for my return trip to the airport. Called Thursday morning for 10:30 pickup was told they only do on the hour. Asked for pickup at 10 am instead. Waited outside hotel no one showed up. Called them at 10:15 wondering where the shuttle was. He said you made reservation 11:00. I said uh no 10:00 since you couldn't do 10:30. Someone finally shoes up at 10:45. With 2 other pickups along the way. First stop waited there for 15 minutes for a no show.. It's now after 11:00 and I am started to stress out. Had yet another stop to do before going to the airport. Finally got to the airport at 11:40. Security lines 4 lanes deep. I was worried I would miss my flight. Luckily got thru security, on the tram and to our gate with 15 minutes to spare. Will not use this service again. By the way got the same tour thru another vendor for $74.00 for both of us! read more

None of the numbers worked. When I was finally able to track down Fly shuttle who was to provide the service, I was told that they no longer worked with the contracting company. Driver was waiting for us when we arrived and since it was late we were the only ones. Told us to call the day we were leaving to arrange the ride back. We ended up emailing and heard back right away confirming our pick up time. Again the driver was waiting for us. Just one other couple with us on the way back to the airport. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! This was the most disgusting service I have EVER received. Got them recommended by my parents who had arrived in HNL 2 days before for $10. I arrived early on a Tuesday morning 10th May (8am ish) rang the 2 digit number from airport and was told a 20 minute wait. Said this was ok and that I would see them soon. Sat down to wait. Half an hour later I happened to talk to 2 other ladies who were also waiting, they had booked in advance and had organised a pick up. An hour later we rang again to see where they were, the driver/dispatch was super rude to the lady and said he would be there soon. Arrived 10 minutes later and had an epic attitude. Didn't utter a word the whole trip and when he got to my accom charged me $12, when I said that my parents had used the same service 2 days earlier and had it for $10, he said it wasn't his problem. (The money wasn't really the issue, it was the principle as well as his disgusting attitude). Agreed to just pay the money to end the experience (I had had a long overnight flight so was over it). Then he tells me he has no change.... a shuttle driver that is paid cash... has no change. WORST SERVICE EVER, this driver needs to have his butt sacked. (Incidentally my parents had a different man and said the service was great, hence the recommendation). read more

I booked these guys over the phone a day or so before I arrived to Honolulu. They took my info over the phone and they followed up via email. I researched other shuttle services in Hawaii but these guys were the least expensive. I got to the airport and I had a missed call from them. I called them back and they gave me directions to where I should wait for them. I grabbed my luggage exited the baggage claim area and 5 minutes later their van was there. It worked great for us because there were no other passengers so it was like taking a taxi with direct service to our hotel. They didn't charge us for our 16-month old baby or for our luggage. We paid for round trip service and again they called me one day before our departure to arrange pickup. They showed up in a clean spacious van and it was just my family and I with direct service to the airport. Best in class! Would book them again!!! English is not their first language but neither is mine but we understood each other well. read more

We were at Pearl Harbor when we learned about Fly Shuttle. We signed up for the 5:00 pm shuttle back to our hotel. The shuttle was 15 minutes late, making us think we were in the wrong spot and stressing us out. Then when they showed up (late due to traffic which is reasonable), we had to make a stop at the airport to pick up two travelers. The driver was very pleasant and suggested their shuttle to the airport when we were ready to leave Honolulu. We decided to give them another chance. We called that day at 6:00 pm to book a ride to the airport the next morning at 10:15 am. We came down at 10:15 and figured they must be late again. We gave them until 10:30 and then called. The man essentially yelled at me telling me they were already there and looked for us "for a while". We came down to the same spot the driver dropped us at the evening before! No way were they there "a while" looking for us. Besides, if they were looking for us, why didn't they just call my husband's cell phone to find us?? I call BS. We both believe they didn't even come, basically stranding us to find a last minute ride. Thanks for nothing Fly Shuttle. read more

I booked and paid for the service prior to leaving for Hawaii - scary but what can you do. The trip booked was to Turtle Bay and we arrived at Honolulu airport at about 8.30pm. Driver was not far away and the trip us was pretty good except for some mis-information given about where to go shopping for food the next day. However, our return trip to the airport a few days later was a different story. Different driver - hugely different attitude. He turned up on time and just knocked at the door and said I'm here, then walked back to the van and left us to struggle with our luggage. When we got to the van he opened the back door and the floor was covered with some type of liquid. I asked him if he had something to wipe it up with. He grunted and found something. We went back to the apartment for a final check and when we got back driver was chatting with groundsman. Our bags were still on the ground so I said - do you need us to put these in the back? He again grunted and put them in the back and kept chatting with groundsman. I told him we were going to the airport to fly to Kauai and asked about the correct pronounciation. He said 'Hawaii - H A W A I I'! Then we were on our way. It was 7am Saturday morning so not much traffic and he was far exceeding the speed limit. I asked him to slow down and he took no notice. He then started to look at his phone and was texting. I asked him to refrain from texting while driving and again he ignored me so I told him again in a more firm voice. He stopped, but kept looking at his phone in its holder. We caught up with some other traffic and he started overtaking them in a 25 zone with double yellow lines and at one point we were on the wrong side of the road overtaking and at the top of a hill! I screamed at him that we were not in a hurry and wanted to get to there alive! Again, he just kept speeding. When we finally got to the airport he chucked our bags out of the van and onto the roadway. He then jumped into the van and sped off! We had paid $230 US for that crappy treatment. An older Hawaiian man sitting near our drop off point asked us if we were ok. He said he could not believe how rudely the driver had treated us and said that it is not all like that in Hawaii :) read more
