Luckily it was still daylight and we were able to comfortable hang out until the tow truck arrived (they made good time). The tow truck driver was incredibly helpful; before towing our car, he explored more than one reason the car might not be starting (trying to avoid a tow); he was very knowledgeable and helpful. He in fact correctly identified the problem within a couple of minutes (as we found out the next day from the mechanic). Once it was for sure that we could not get the car going, he obliged to tow the car to our chosen mechanic and once there, he even helped us park the car and fill out the overnight paperwork. My tow operator Daniel is super skilled and handles EVs, which are notoriously hard to tow, with skill and ease.
