I've been going to Martys for over 10 years and the service is usually good. A week and a half ago I brought my wifes vehicle in and asked them for a used tire because her tire had a slow leak. They found a nail in the old tire and offered to fix the old tire instead of giving me a good used one. I agreed. He charged me $40 drilled a hole put a plug in the hole and put the tire back on the vehicle. 10 days later my wife is driving at night and her tire goes from 40psi to 4psi in seconds. The tire was completely flat while she was on the arterial. When I called to tell them what happened they basically said it was her fault and they would now sell me a used tire for $120!!! read more

I was there for hours all I needed was one tire to be changed. They did about 20 other peoples tires while I was waiting. They work fast on other people while I was running late for work. They then proceeded to charge me $400 for a used tire and not only that I later found out the tire they gave me had a nail in it. When I came back to the shop one of the guys there told me he already knew why I was back and that I did not need to show a receipt. He kindly went and just replaced the tire without charging me again. I highly do not recommend going to this shop especially if you are a women. Mechanics are evil. read more

It starts with a need. Waking up in the morning ready to head to work early and find the tire is low. I knew immediately it had a nail and a slow leak. The tire was almost flat so I had to jack up the truck and dismount the tire. Where to go? I thought I'd head to Discount Tire as I remember they fix flats for free. But, they wouldn't touch this tire as too old So, I've driven by Marty's and figured I'd give them a try. I got immediate attention and they are ready to fix the tire with no wait. Although not a free service, I was impressed with the service and not being pressured to buy a new tire because it's so dangerous. You'd think if tires after x-years are dangerous there would be a State law since we're in a nanny state society. I'm sold on going to the individual proprietor like Marty's and will be coming back here for my tire needs in the future, new or used. You should try to cut the cord on using Costco, Discount and the other tire stores and use the little guy. read more

Got a cheese steak for lunch, so hungry I ate half in the car. Had a slow leak in my front tire so I went to drop it off at Marty's. They diagnosed the leak point quickly and went to work. No drop off, just started working. I ate the other half of my cheese steak or tried to. They patched my wheel, checked my tires, regulated the air pressure (all in the rain) and had me on my way. I was completly 'Wowed' by their work ethic and customer service. I was still pulling beef from my teeth as I drove off. Total cost was $5 more than my cheese steak. Phone call was literally no more than 2 minutes and I was told the estimated price for the tire change. I got to Marty's and someone walked up to me immediately and I told them what I needed. They showed me the tires they had and they had it done within 15 minutes. Marty's didn't try to overcharge me or give me a hard time about anything. Absolutely amazing service. This place totally rocks! The first experience I had was with a problem with a tire sensor & low tire. They helped me immediately, checked it & diagnosed the problem in 15 min, filled the tires & sent me off without charging me. Today I drove into a curb & kept driving; when I got to my office a few minutes later, that tire was perfectly flat. Marty's graciously said they'd take care of it whenever it got there, which was great because the tow truck was 2 hours late. They could have tried to sell me a new rim, or repair the one I had, & they could have convinced me I needed 2 new tires. However, they ascertained the wheel was intact but the tire was kaput. They found me a used tire just like mine, which are almost new, down to the amount of tread wear. They mounted it & balanced the tires, perfectly, for under $100. And they are so nice! read more

I called the shop and they don't stand behind their work. I was told I'd have to pay to have the weld done again.
