They are not just a tire shop but a complete repair facility. They did help! I decided to replace the two rear tires and due to the fact that they were wider than everyday tires and run flats, they were difficult to source. It took longer than we both thought but the delay was not caused by Gearheads, and in fact they kept me informed almost daily. But when the tires were received, they were installed almost immediately and my journey home was a smooth and uneventful ride, as we all love. Again, Gearheads, especially Dani, did everything humanly possible to bet me back on the road safely and I really appreciate how they took care of me. If they were closer to me, they would be my goto care care facility.

My Toyota sedan was making a whirring noise whenever I pressed the gas pedal. My father checked it…read morefor me and was sure it was a muffler/exhaust issue but told me to have it checked to be sure. So I took it to Campus Auto. That was a mistake I will not make again. I told them what was going on as best I could explain and specifically mentioned the muffler/exhaust. They checked it over (supposedly) and less than 15 minutes later told me I had a strut rubbing my right rear tire. I had never even heard of this and couldn't see how it would even be possible unless the strut was badly damaged. They quoted me just under $1,000 cash price (over $1,000 card) to "fix" it. I then asked them about the exhaust/muffler and they said they don't do exhaust work--but they advertise as full service auto repair? Then they charged me $75 just for the diagnostic--which I understand--but I don't believe they actually "diagnosed" anything (which of course I cannot prove). My father said to get a second opinion so I got a referral and took it to another mechanic. Lo and behold, he said it needed a new muffler and quoted me a very fair price. I am taking it to him next week. As a favor, he checked the struts and said they looked to be in order. Bottom line, steer clear of Campus Auto. I think they were trying to pull a fast one on me to make a quick grand.

A wonderful young man in the sales department took me over to the service department and told me it was only my tires that needed refilling, due to a weather change. He filled them for me, even though he was nicely dressed, and i was afraid he may get a little dirty. I was so grateful for his help and that it was such an "easy fix." I asked for his card to send him a thank-you. Unfortunately, by the time I got around to calling the dealership (and looking at the card he gave me), he was not there. The nice person who answered the phone at the dealership said I could give a review on their Facebook page. I want to leave one here, also. It turns out that nice young gentleman's name is Hogan Coad, and I learned he is one of the Coad family members. I cannot thank him enough, and I highly recommend their service (sales and service).

This experience was so awesome and simple that we have been telling friends and family for years that Coad makes Toyota purchases easy. Fast Forward to September of 2018. We had previously owned a 2015 Toyota 4Runner too, that we traded off. After recently driving another 4Runner, my wife wanted to trade a GMC Yukon for a new 4Runner. Our first impression was to buy local. However, our local Toyota store has not been easy to deal with. So, to Coad we go...again. While it isn't the exact color she wanted, my better half is happy to be back in the driver's seat of a 4Runner.
