Do not bring anything here. Brought my motorcycle to them couple years ago because it wouldn't start and I wanted an oil change. They had my bike for 9 months, they never called me to inform me of anything, I had to call them. And each call was just a run around of excuses of why my bike wasn't ready. After telling them how tired I was of waiting, they got their act together and got my bike running. I didn't leave a review the because I just wanted my bike, and was going to leave well enough alone. I rode my bike twice since getting it back, and noticed it overheating. Lo and behold, the oil change they charged $100 for never happened. There was no oil in the sight glass, and when I drained it out, what came out didn't fill 1/8 of 1 quart. What did come out was black. Oil doesn't turn black after 2 rides. They never changed the oil, or even bothered to check it. I repeat, DO NOT BEING ANYTHING HERE. I will be sure to continue to tell everybody I know who ride to avoid this place at all costs. The complete inadequacy, untrained, irresponsible people here are a joke. read more

Purchased a Bad Boy Tractor from them about 3 months ago and paid cash for it. When they delivered it, a bunch of the parts were missing and a light was broken. Was told they had to order the part's and it would take a couple of weeks and then they will pick the tractor back up and install everything. 2 months later....still waiting! All we get is excuses and promises to call back and they never do. It just seems that once they get your money, they could care less about you. My next step is to report them to The Better Business Bearue and try to contact the actual owner of the company. read more

I bought a Polaris side by side from Surdyke 3 years ago and have not stood behind their contract. I bought a VIP package from the and after the first year their Chesterfield store closed and they did not want to stand behind the VIP maintenance agreement. They said I was too far away and it would cost them more money. As part of the sale agreement I had a 1 year VIP maintenance and I bought 3 additional years of VIP maintenance. Well now they say they have no record of the 1 year that I got with the sale. Bottom line Surdyke does not stand behind their agreements. read more

Yea they have cheap motor clothes prices online but don't ever try to return anything and expect a full refund whether your a first time buyer or a repeated customer such as myself. My XL jacket return did not fit. Everything I wear is XL. All I wanted was an exchange. They don't do that, only the real Harley Davidson company does that. Besides the additional shipping I have to pay to send it back they charge a restocking charge. They don't care if the item didn't fit. They charge restocking fees. They don't respond properly. It's better to shop direct at the bigger dealerships or the main Harley Davidson website. This is the second time Surdyke has done this to me. As everyone else has already stated, their customer service is trash, and they are extremely overpriced. Was looking for a new Kawasaki KLX 140G and since they bought out the old Kawasaki dealership in Crystal City, I assumed that they would carry a decent selection of Kawasaki bikes. Nope. There was only a couple, of which some were used. No 140s. One time I went in to get a flag and stood around for ten minutes before anyone decided to even look my way or said they'd be a minute before they could help. My boyfriend needed a part for his Kawasaki 450R race quad and once they ordered it, said it would be in in a week, he didn't see it for about two and a half. Trying to call and actually get someone to answer who knew what they were talking about was a nightmare as well. He eventually just had to go in and ask, then go in AGAIN when it was late being delivered again. Astonishing how one company can be so awful. Do not waste your money here. There are plenty of other dealerships around with far more to offer in every way, shape, and form. read more

So I won a small claims case against Surdyke in Aug of 2019, they appealed the judgement and after 5 months a new judge dismissed the case in Jan of this year. I talked to the owner to try and get them to pay the judgement and he said he would never pay it because small claims court is a joke and I didn't deserve to collect the amount I won. Which he didn't seem to understand was the total I paid them and I had to pay Midwestsportscenter to fix their faulty repair. After trying to talk over me the entire conversation he calls me a hypocrite for posting religious post and wanting them to pay me. He hung up on me after that. It's crazy to think that an owner of a company that size and boosts about riding on their reputation would act like that. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE GOING TO THIS DEALERSHIP!!! Salesman Dylan was alright, other than that everything is a joke, especially the service department. Bought a 2021 Wolverine x4 in July 2021 and took it in for its first service a couple months later. First service is suppose to consist of changing ALL the fluids out. When I picked my buggy up, all they did was the oil change and said they'll "check everything else to see if it needs it at the second service" which is completely opposite of what Yamaha recommends for these machines. Took it back for my second service thIs last Thursday and dropped it off being told it'd be completed Friday, Saturday at the latest. I ended up driving back up there Saturday and picked it up at closing time with it still not serviced. (It's a 2 hour round trip) and I have the "VIP maintenance package" What a joke. I don't recommend this dealership to anyone that cares about their expensive machine. I wish I could give zero stars, but I guess I'll settle for one. read more

Surdyke Motorsports has been my parts and service destination since moving to the area one year ago. Prior to today the customer service has been of the highest caliber and at a reasonable cost. Surdyke Motorsports should be ashamed. Charging $100 for a tire installation is completely ridiculous. Previously the service cost me $45 dollars; so you could understand the shock from seeing the $100 charge when reviewing my bill this evening. The service man states he doesn't know when Chris the manager will return and couldn't give a number to reach him. They have no clue what's the real problem with the YXZ. Does not deal fairly with people. They take your money, but do not provide the agreeded upon service. For example, they say they'll teach you to ride, but they loose interest if they don't think they'll sell you something. Also, they say the instructors don't work for them. Who do they work for? Ordered a jacket - on sale. $110 regular, for $95 free shipping. of course, after the order was placed and paid for, i was notified that it was backordered a couple weeks..even though credit card was charged on the date ordered, not when it was shipped. then backordered more. then more. when it was finally received about 6 weeks later, it was too large. Sent it back at my own expense. They accepted the return, but charged me a 20% restocking fee, which although it does say so in the fine print, i really did not think they would apply it to a clothing item which has to be tried on to know fit. for anyone thinking about going to surdyke, please read this. i had an engine rebuilt last year and surdyke didn't install the engine correctly. so i took them to small claims court to get my money back. a judge ruled in favor of me and now surdyke wants to appeal the judges decision. the family motto is customer satisfaction is their #1 goal. i am hear to say they do not care about customers!!! i've tried multiple times to talk to the owner and he will not even answer my calls nor call me back. his general and see managers have lied to both me and my wife countless times. if your in the market for a new bike or need service work done go to midwestsportscenter or st louis powersports!!!!! don't think that this same thing couldn't happen to you!!! read more

Bought a new 2014 KTM RC8R in 2015. with extended platinum service plan. had the first 2 services done and took it in for the 2 yr, 12,428 milage. noted on drop off....to give me old plugs (so I know they did it) didn't see them. asked to check chain, was binding and do I need to replace. he said, they oiled it (nothing about changing it) didn't lube it, I had the same brake dust build up on it when i took it there. Asked if they changed the front and rear brake fluids? he said NO. I showed him in manual at that miles, CHANGE BOTH FLUIDS. got his to do that while I waited, and then asked to reset the next service on dash. no one knew how to set it, until they looked it up on PC. the bill was for $936, for service they intended to do for the annual inspection. REALLY WONDER HOW MUCH WORK THAT WAS REQUIRED ON THE 12,000MILE SERVECE THAT THEY DIDN'T DO!!!!LIKECHECK VALVE CLEARANCE, CHECK OIL NOZZEL FOR CLUTCH. GOT IT HOME AND CHECKED CHAIN, spent an hour cleaning to relube chain, it had kinking in it onto rear sprocket that they didn't see or tell me about, so I know they didn't test ride before i got it. THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO WORK ON THE KTM EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE THE DEALER. JOKE, WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THEM FOR SERVICE OR ANOTHER BIKE!!!!! read more

This has been one of the worst service experiences I ever had. I had a recall on my 2015 RZR that was sent me back in April of 2016. I called Surdyke in Chesterfield to setup an appointment to bring in my RZR, but was told the parts were on back order. I called again in August and was told I was still on the list and they confirmed my name/number, but parts were not available yet. In September I got a second notice from Polaris about the recall. I called Surdyke back and was told again that parts are still on backorder. I called Polaris and found out parts are not on back order and are available. So I called Surdyke back and explained my conversation I had with Polaris. I was then told parts are available and for me to bring my RZR to get them replaced. When I asked if parts were in stock, I was told no, they will order them once I bring in my RZR. WHAT? I have been waiting since April and parts were never even ordered! I asked for them to order the parts first and I would bring it in after parts arrive. They gave me a date when the parts would arrive and when I can drop off the RZR. The day before I called to make sure parts were in, they were not and never bothered to call me. They said they would call me once they get the parts. 2 weeks later I call to see if the parts are in, and they were. Again, upset that no one called to let me know the parts came it, but setup a time when I could drop it off in the morning and pick it up later in the day. My wife dropped it off while I was out of town and the first thing they tell her is it will be a couple days because they are backed up. Again no phone call, but she left it at the dealer anyway even though I was told it would be completed in one day. One of the recall's was for a bad voltage regulator. I had already replaced mine with an aftermarket model because of the issues I had with it. I was told I could give them my old defective voltage regulator and they would give me the new replacement model. When my wife dropped off the RZR she had the old regulator and asked them to give her the new one. They could not find the part at the time and told her she would have it after the work was done, but they would not change my current aftermarket regulator. Of course they replaced it anyway without a phone call to let me know. When I picked up the RZR I sat at the service counter waiting for help. 2 mechanics and the service guy were in the shop, but we were ignored for about 5 min. I yelled into the shop and asked if someone could help us. The very unfriendly service guy got us checked out and I got my RZR back. There was mud on the passenger seat and on the sides of the RZR. It was clean when we dropped it off for work to be done the same day. It will be the last time I ever step into Surdyke. I have purchased a few bikes at the Fetus location and was happy with the help. read more

Wow, I find out they don't take Genuine HD gift cards!! the entire amount charged to my CC plus $7 shipping. Then a couple days later the message that it should ship in another 10days, maybe sooner. Oh, maybe I'll cancel it, nope again unless you want to pay a 20% restocking fee!!! Bottom line, never again, the aggravation not worth the small savings. On March 5th 2016 i was sold a 2015 Yamaha YZF-R3. At Surdyke Motorsports in Chesterfield MO 63005 I was told the rest of my paper work would be mailed to me in 10-15 days. After i paid for my bike in full in cash. I was off with my bike. I had to go get my own temp tag which was odd because i was sent off with my bike with out any plates. What ever so be it. Then may lien release and title never came. After many phone calls I was told my lien release was in the mail then a few more days and more phone calls still not getting any where I drive back out to Chesterfield where Jennifer told me the payment got lost. They resent the payment on Thursday March 31st which I was told on 3 phone calls payment was made weeks ago. So then the temp plate I went and got on my own has expired i was told just to ride my bike if I get pulled over explain I am waiting on paper work..... Now how is that a good idea. It is now April 9th 2016 after many more calls I am still waiting on paper work. I do not believe this is in a good business operation that this is happening. I am to the point were this is not my bike and about to park it in front of the show room and get my money back. I have gone out of my way to fallow up make calls check the status of this. A customer should never have this happen. I find it hard to get a hold of any one who has any level of skills to resolve this. So now as a last resort I'm trying to email a request that maybe an owner or manager could maybe get involved. read more

DO NOT buy a CF Moto!! DO NOT buy or do any business with Surdyke Motorsports. Their service center is absolute and utter crap!! Our machine is in the shop as we speak. This is the THIRD time our machine has been there to be serviced in 2016. We bought the CF Moto in July-August of 2015. It was in the shop 3 times in 2015 as well. That's right. Our ORV has been serviced at Surdyke Motorsports now SIX TIMES IN LESS THAN A YEAR!!!! This is not even our first CF Moto that we have bought from them. It's not even our second machine we have had from them. IT'S OUR THIRD ORV we have purchased from Surdyke Motorsports. The first machine, a 600, the throttle and override in reverse got stuck. They replaced that with an entirely new machine, another 600. The second one had an axel that kept popping out and was sent back to their service department 2-3 times before they bought the machine back from us and completely reimbursed our money. We waited about 6 months before buying our third ORV, an 800, because we were obviously pretty leary. They did give us a great deal but now we wish we would have passed. Our third ORV that we have gotten from Surdyke Motorsports has been in the shop SIX TIMES now for the EXACT SAME ISSUE!!! If we go for a ride and go on a small decline hill, it pops out of gear. It basically sounds like you are grinding gears in a manual vehicle. They said it was the linkage and said they fixed it. Now they say the gears in the transmission are completely messed up, along with the thermal switch that kicks the fan on. The last time we took it for a ride we got so hot and could barely stand riding because the engine heat comes right up between the seats. Every time we get it back from being service by Surdyke Motorsports, they say "it should be fixed now". Hardly. Every time we get it back and take it for its first ride and go down hill, it kicks out of gear, just like when we first bought it, but yet, it's been fixed 6 times!! This machine has a 2 year warranty and half of it has been spent in the company's shop. Right before it went into their shop this last time, where it is still sitting, I talked to a very hateful man in the service department who told me that since the time before they said they completely took apart the transmission and "fixed it", this time, they would have to wait for the manufacturer to approve a new transmission before they even touched it. In my personal opinion, my 2 year warranty should cover that regardless so you just get to work champ. It has been in their shop for two weeks now. Two weeks is the minimum amount of time it has ever been in their shop. It has been with them once for over a month. It spends more time in their shop, obviously not being worked on, than it does in my garage. My husband told them, this time, that we wanted to just keep it with us until they are positive that they can get to work on it immediately. He said they would get started on it the very next day after it was picked up by their delivery man. My husband just called today and to no one's surprise, it is just sitting in their shop, not being worked on, waiting for parts that they already knew they would be needing. I repeat...... DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO SURDYKE MOTORSPORTS!!! THEY ARE THEIVES AND CROOKS!!!!!! read more

I drove 2 hours to purchase a specific ATV that the dealer had in stock and was advertised with a free winch and snow plow, however, it is free if you pay the MSRP. The salesman, Big Mike, says the winch and plow is valued at $1,200 which is true if it is a Polaris brand but instead the "free" snow plow and winch is KFI, which is a good brand, but valued at $700 not $1,200. I drive 2 hours back home and spend several hours trying to mount the snow plow which was impossible as it would not fit. I contacted KFI, the manufacturer, and they confirmed that the "hybrid universal mount" they gave me is for smaller ATV and told me the part numbers needed to fit my ATV. I called Big Mike who tells me their KFI rep says the plow they let me leave with would fit even though KFI already said it would not. He calls me back to say they will exchange it but will cost me $50 after I just paid them several thousand dollars. After I expressed my dissatisfaction and that I would not pay $50 they agreed to get me the correct snow plow. I then drove 2 hours back to make the exchange and the parts guy says "I know who you are" (because I had called several times to confirm they had the correct part in before I made the trip), gave me the correct snow plow, never said thank you, sorry for your trouble, or offer to load it, offer to pay for my gas, nothing. I'm so glad I didn't buy their extended service warranty with that type of service. read more

terrible experience from the get go! saleman was not interested in me when I was trying to buy a used bike. bought the bike anyway. got it home and had issues. had it less than 1 week and it was back in their shop for 3 weeks. said they were waiting on parts. they delivered it back and hit my front porch and drove thru my landscape. didn't even tell me they hit my porch. now the front fairing needs repainted. so they are coming to get it again. haven't even made 1st payment left. been at their shop longer than my garage.
