Flying Dutchman Spirits will be one of my new "go to" spots! Their drink menu is expansive and their drinks and spirits are flavorful and well made. Their menu is all very reasonably priced, even for their fun speciality drinks which I was surprised but very happy to see! The tables have QR codes to order from but we were checked in with multiple times by various servers and staff which was super appreciated. We never felt like we were waiting on service or for someone to come by to answer questions. Additionally, the food that we got was delicious! The pretzel was amazing and was plenty big, so our group of 3 easily shared it. On specific nights of the week they run different food specials which is fun. I can't wait to come back and enjoy a nice evening on the patio!

Mexican old fashioned and a "shut up and take my money"

Such a great spot! It's ticked back in an industrial park and we visited around 10 on a Saturday. There were a few customers still hanging out but the bartenders said it was fully packed earlier. The space is big and they have live music on the weekends. We sat at the bar and grabbed a Mexican old fashioned and a Shut up and Take my money. Both were delicious! Not overpowering and nicely blended. I grabbed a tequila honey bee as well which was nice but not as good as the first two drinks. We also tried their Thai chili pepper vodka in a one night in Bangkok. I was worried it would be too spicy based on some other spicy liquors I've tried but it was the perfect amount of heat and blended nicely in the drink. It would make an excellent Bloody Mary! Service was top notch. You order in a QR code but we sat at the bar and had fun talking with Lauren and Christine. They were so helpful and outgoing and it was a nice way to end the night. We waked away wondering when we could make a return and bring friends! So glad we decided to stop.

One of the best MN distilleries, IMO. Every spirit I've had is smooth and well balanced. Their blue agave tequila is one of my favorites and something I drink in the rocks. Tried their spiced rum today and it's just as good. Not overly sweet or cloying like a lot of rums can be. Nice notes of cinnamon, allspice, and anise. The taproom is really laid back but can get loud and hard to hear folks you're talking with. The service of amazing and ordering by QR core at the table makes everything really smooth. They've got some bar snacks and Heggies of you don't want to order in. Their cocktails are all well balanced, strong, and not overly sweet. It's one of my favorite places to grab a drink since it's not pretentious like a lot of other cities lounges or "rustic" like you get in the country. Just a lot of people looking to have a drink or two and get some good conversation.

Take a drive off the highway and you will find this beautiful cocktail lounge ran by Flying Dutchman Distillery in Eden Prairie. I visited for a cocktail after a great game of bowling that I actually won (an oddity, I am terrible at bowling). They make spirits from vodka to blue agave and gin to spiced rum. And did I mention that their cocktail list is MASSIVE. It took me nearly 10 minutes just to decide what to order. THey had a section celebrating the flavors of the season through Rhubarb and Lavender - and with the sun shining I had to get on some rhubarb action. Strawberry Rhubarb Paloma: An Agave based cocktail made with fresh Lime Juice, Strawberry Puree, Agave Nectar, their house made Rhubarb Simple Syrup, and Grapefruit Soda. The glassware is astoundingly beautiful (where did they get it from!?!?), and the drink matched the beauty. A hint of tartness comes through some of the citrus flavors with sweetness from the syrups and strawberry. The Agave base helps meld all of the flavors together into a Summery cocktail that anybody can enjoy. _____

I can not recommend this place enough. It is wonderful for date night, a girl's night, or a work party. There are many different types of seating, outdoor and indoor options. I've been there multiple times with live music playing. As for their drinks and every single one I have tried has been delicious! They have a very large drink menu maybe one day I will get through them all. They also make some nonalcoholic versions and they make it very clear when serving which I really respect. Our server was so welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful that we thought he could be the owner. If he is I can really appreciate him being so well involved, if it's not that's some great training. But honestly, we have always gotten top-notch service here. The aviation map near the front actually shows Eden Prairie and the exact location of the Flying Dutchman on it.

I've never heard of this distillery, but it was listed in a pamphlet book that I bought at the state fair last year. There was a BOGO offer. We stopped in here just after 9pm on a Saturday night. There was plenty of seats to choose from. They have scattered sections of seating that includes couches, chairs, rocking chairs and tables. There is a stage for live music, but the performer was packing up when we entered. They do not have a patio area. We were warmly greeted when we entered and they were very friendly and attentive the entire time. I ordered a Mexican Old Fashioned and was impressed with how smooth their drink was. It had a smoked orange peel and it was just right - not overly smoky. I'm a popcorn fanatic, so I ordered some to go. I tried the "double cheese" option, but unfortunately it wasn't very cheesey. I wouldn't purchase that again. In my opinion it was too dry. I purchased some coffee liqueur to go, but I haven't tried that yet. My friend enjoyed her grapefruit martini as well. I like that they don't over sweeten their drinks. My friend and I both agree that their customer service is refreshing. They checked in multiple times and gave us suggestions before we ordered. We didn't feel like a bother. When I paid ordered I realized I forgot to use my BOGO offer. The manager was super nice and voided the transaction and honored the voucher. We will be back again.

    Pie themed flight.

We went for the pie themed flight special. It was key lime, pumpkin, apple, and chocolate. Very delicious. Their cocktails are unique and it's fun to try ones that you normally wouldn't have.

This is the place I go to if I want a very nice cocktail. The bartenders are friendly. I wouldn't necessary come here for the food but it's a great option to get a pizza after a few drinks. The espresso martini is top 5 that I've had in the twin cities area. They also make a great Bloody Mary. Hattie, Cody, Grace, and Mike are the best bartenders. The vibe is great and they have live music.

This is our go to spot for cocktails! Nick the bartender is wonderful and the GM is amazing. My daughter loves the non alcoholic drinks. The Mexican old fashioned is my favorite. It's a fun and casual atmosphere.

Who knew this newer distillery was so close to home?!? Stumbled upon it on social media and made a point to check it out after a day of shopping! Wasn't sure what to expect when we pulled up to a seemingly "office" building, but it was clearly marked! The tasting room was simple, welcoming, and quite busy. Fun couches, tables, and live music filled the space. Nothing to blow you away, but an unassuming tasting room. My only recommendation would be to work on the lighting in the space. They didn't have any lights on and relying on the natural light made it feel dark and dim inside. Service was top notch. Our server was extremely friendly, provided recommendations, and was very responsive. An extensive menu of agave, rum, vodka cocktails made it difficult to choose. I started with the Chupacabra, one of their Haberno Agave cocktails. A great take on the margarita, with a balance of spicy and sweet. And who doesn't love a Tajin rim. Also had the Mexican Old Fashioned, which swapped Agave for the traditional Whiskey or Bourbon. It was a good cocktail, but didn't hold up to it's traditional counterpart in my mind. In a land of hundreds of craft breweries, this is a great change of pace! I'd definitely see myself coming back to check out other items on the menu.

Welcome sign- the Mexican Margarita & another cocktail- oh! And the $16 Chips

This is an odd place, but worth a visit. Molly, the bartender was super nice and makes wonderful cocktails. Here's the thing: the food is a joke; ridiculously expensive - the chips in my panty are better- served in cheap paper boats so don't go hungry... location : under an overpass & next to an industrial office building. But they have a patio(!) and string lights, so looking forward to trying that... although it faces East, right smack into the industrial building, well on the other side of the parking lot, so no sunset (or view). ‍ They have live music, maybe that's good(?)

This is an awesome spot for a date or getting together with a small group of friends! There's bar seating on one end and ample lounge/table style seating filling up the rest of the space. It's all set against a cool backdrop of the distilling equipment, which is separated from the seating area by a glass wall. When I was here on a Friday night they had live music and plenty of open spots! And of course the cocktails were tasty. Lots of fun names and unique flavor combos - it was hard to pick just one. Service in the lounge area was through a QR code on your table, which worked fine. Definitely a spot to check out!

Just A Little Tingle Cocktail (sweet & spicy)
    Haley P.

Last night we celebrated our friends 40th birthday at Flying Dutchman Spirits and were blown away by the service, drinks, and atmosphere! The cocktail list was long and everyone was able to find multiple drinks they enjoyed from the options. I tried the Just A Little Tingle cocktail that was one of my favorite cocktails that I've had in a long time! If you like spice but also a fruity flavor this drink is for you! The garnishes were perfect and well presented. I enjoyed that you could order using a QR code from your table and the server would bring the drinks to your table when ready. It was also an easy was to close out your tan when finished at the end of our stay. Last night they had a Mexican style food truck parked outside which was also delicious. There's a parking lot out front with plenty of spaces and the space is good for small or large parties. The owner said you can rent out the space for different events if you wish! The distillery tour we took was fun and also a cool inside look on how the spirits are made and what countries all the materials are gathered from. It was an overall great experience and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will be returning again soon!

They sell their awesome Habanero "not tequila" agave and the Spicy Thai vodka! It's so good!

Pet friendly… within our constraints, yes. Allow me to explain… The Minnesota Department of Agriculture licenses us differently from a brewery. Indoors, we can admit service animals. On our patio, all pets are welcome and we have water bowls, etc…

Martina is an ace with its bold flavored Argentinian cuisine and relaxing atmosphere. We dined on the patio, but whether you are seated inside or out, the ambiance is adorned with green plants, natural wood, and clean lines for a modern aesthetic that pleases today's diner. The food was a pleasure. The secret to the bold flavors is in the sauce. We started with an order of the grilled bread and a dozen oysters. I'll never say no to raw oysters (even on some occasions when I should have), but these were a great experience. The vinegar sauce served with these was a unique version that when paired with a dash of the shredded horseradish and a squeeze of lemon juice, the oysters were a punch of zingy perfection. The salted, vinegar infused butter that came with the bread elevated the dish. I chose the halibut for my entree and it was lovely (halibut is a win in any format). However, I would highly recommend the ribeye. My son got that and I sampled a piece with the accompanying chimichuri sauce and it was heavenly. The oils chosen to create that sauce were very well thought out so it made for not-your-typical ribeye and lent itself to something flavorfully unique. We want to return!
