Hendrix & Siena is situated on a quaint corner on Hopkins Mainstreet, with big windows that let in lots of natural light. The menu is focused and highlights pastas and pizza. Some of the dishes are seasonal, while others seem to be regular staples. We especially enjoyed the unique take on bruschetta featuring eggplant and 'nduja, and the two layer lasagna was an interesting way to serve the dish. Service felt a bit brusque for the quality of the restaurant, it would have been nice to hear more about the dishes and feel a bit more attended to.

Fantastic food and fresh pasta! Their take on a caesar salad is refreshing and the crisp bites of asparagus are great. The Cavatelli pasta is a treat and is so creamy and flavorful. The lasagna has a cream sauce and is loaded with mushrooms. The lamb ribs literally fall off the bone. You can make reservations ahead of time and there is street parking available.

Hendrix & Siena is such a vibe. Loved the cozy lighting and had some standout food. One major food highlight is the cavatelli, which had the most delicious butternut squash sauce. I want a butternut squash soup with all those amazing flavors! The dill pickle pizza was also great and I'd get it again, though nothing quite beats the state fair pickle pizza for me! I would definitely pass on the bruschetta next time; the texture was just not it for any of us three who had it. Such a lovely spot in Hopkins!

I came here for my birthday earlier this week and wow what a wonderful experience. The food was all around fantastic. This restaurant opened in January 2025 and glad I came across it online! Fiore - 8.7/10 3 of us ordered this drink and it was very good, simple gin-based drink. The drops of herb-infused EVOO on the top was a nice touch and a refreshing cocktail. Lablabi - 8.1/10 None of us had tried a dish like this before. Fun combo of burrata, chick peas, harissa paste, and croutons. It really worked well together and is apparently a staple dish in Tunisia. Caesar salad - 7/10 Very light, good parmesan, lemony, I would have liked more toppings but given how creamy many of the other dishes were, perhaps a lighter start to the meal was good. :) Banh mi pizza - 9.2/10 This was their pizza of the day. It was so tasty with slow roasted pork, cucumber, and a delicious curst. Excited to come back another time and try their hot honey pepperoni. Pappardelle alla lisa - 8/10 Having ordered pappardelle a few times recently, I'm finding it's not my favorite noodle because it's more floppy and less chewy because of how wide and thin it is. Regardless, still a good dish, the meat sauce was a little more muted in flavor than I expected, maybe the nuttiness of the grana padano contributed to a different flavor profile. Cavatelli - 9.5/10 This was the best dish of the night and surprised us all! How could butternut squash be so good. However, this was like the best, creamiest mac and cheese. Such a satisfying texture, the boursin sauce was incredible. This is one of those rare special dishes I will remember and come back for some day. Lasagna - 9/10 Really good white lasagna, creamy sauce, with a mushroom-forward flavor. It's nice having a thinner two-layer lasagna. Chicken Parm - 8.9/10 So different than everything else on the menu! Incredibly crispy deep fried chicken with some good spices from chili crisp. Felt like eating ribs because they were served on a skewer. Spaghetti - 7.9/10 Savory olive oil and butter sauce, well prepared dish with zucchini, lighter than the other pasta dishes. Budino/Lemon meringue - 8.4/10 Excellent custard/pudding and mix of flavors Cannolis French silk - 8.2/10 I don't typically go for cannolis because of the ricotta filling but these were very good. Also great crispy texture. Nice atmosphere and service. Walking up to the exterior of the restaurant you wouldn't expect such a high quality dining experience. Recommend checking it out!

    Affogato with Eggnog ice cream

My wife and I went to Hendrix and Siena, one of our favorite spots in downtown Hopkins Friday night, and were blown away yet again. We shared the Caesar salad, and I ordered the French Onion Agnolotti, then afterwards we split an affogato. The Caesar Salad was well covered in a delicious Parmesan cheese, the lettuce was at its peak freshness, and the dressing was light, fragrant and lemony. So delicious! The French Onion Agnolotti was the star of the show! It consisted of noodles stuffed with potato's, with French onion soup broth and a cheese that's stuffed with caramelized onion. It was unbelievably savory, rich, and the cheese itself hosted an aromatic variety of herbs that took it all to the next level Finally, we finished with the affogato. Never thought to try eggnog flavor and coffee together, but it was a perfect Christmas pairing. The sweetness of the ice cream, eggnogs flavor and espresso were a match made in heaven. Throughout our experience our staff provided a top level of service. Always making sure we had what we needed, cleaning our table of all crumbs and fallen cheese between courses, and swapping out plates and silverware to not cross contaminate our courses. Hands down, a fantastic meal, service, ambience and overall experience from Hendrix and Siena.

Will absolutely be back! Adorable space, attentive service, and delicious menu. We got the Mozzarella in Carozza, Cavatelli, and Pepperoni pizza and it was all delicious. The mozzarella was creatively executed. Only note was some of the dishes could have been a little warmer and I personally like a little more selections for wine. We had a wonderful girls night there and look forward to coming again!

A bit of a west metro hidden gem. Highly recommend. Beautifully appointed with a great patio, the menu is inspired and the food is delicious. The butternut squash, fresh baked focaccia, gem lettuce Caesar, chicken parm, and French silk cannoli were all great. Ultimately lost a star for the 3 meat pappardelle which was okay but not great and service which was inconsistent. Ample street parking nearby.

Beautiful space and great staff. Plenty of residential parking. I got the orecchiette and the pasta was cooked perfectly! The sauce was also pretty good with a balanced flavor of sour, salty, and a touch of bitterness. My partner got the pappardelle de lisa and I was a little less impressed with this dish. The meat sauce was a bit too acidic and the pasta was super thin. My friend got the lasagna and said that it was good, but not much else. The drinks, were delicious! Overall, I had a pretty good experience and eventually would like to come back and try more.

Incredible. The food and service is excellent; drinks, wine list and the space itself are great too. There's really nothing not to like. We've been here a couple of times, both visits were so much fun. Definitely get the mozzarella appetizer. Also the lasagna, so good. Pizza is excellent and there are frequently specials. Finish your meal with the dessert and the espresso for 2 (only $6!).

What a very cute charming restaurant! Had a lovely date night here and was very happy we were able to get a table without a reservation. The restaurant is small so I can see why having a reservation in the future would be helpful. We started with an Elote Salad which was so delicious. I would say caution because I had no idea there would be sliced jalapeños with the inside of the jalapeño's still in there and that's like the crazy spicy part. Some slices were inconsistent and I just moved all the jalapeños a side and did not eat them. I tried one to see what it would taste like as a whole but it just was too spicy I couldn't enjoy other flavors. I'd say remove the jalapeños and you have a better salad. Next we decided to try the special which was a lobster pizza. I thought it was a unique pizza and very tasty. I'm glad I was able to try it. Lastly the dessert was so so so delicious! My husband and I are huge fans of Creme brûlée and this was just delicious as it had a peach cobbler crumble that was so tasty! I'm excited to check out more items on this menu as there was a great selection!

We were coming back to the cities from a day in Hutchinson and randomly found Hendrix and Siena because we wanted pizza. It did not disappoint! Food was excellent from start to finish. Elote Caesar was one of the best Caesar salads I've had. We were really debating the lobster pizza at $40 but it was definitely worth it as a unique one-time pizza. Delicious! The crème brulee was unique with peaches on top. Super delicious if a little small portion wise. Loved the space itself. Cozy and inviting. Our server Andrew was top-notch. He clearly took the job seriously which was nice to see as it isn't always the case these days. Really happy we visited!

Great local spot to visit in charming downtown Hopkins! Restaurant is super quaint and cozy and on the smaller side, so make sure to grab a reservation, otherwise we did bar seating and worked out great! Had a wonderful homemade soda, French onion pasta, steak tartare, and pasta! Service was quick and friendly, our only complaint was the French onion pasta was on the smaller side for a main dish. We will be back!!

Love that there's now an upscale pasta place on the west side! The reservations are always booked out, so plan ahead. We tried the pappardelle alla Lisa and the lasagna duefoglie. The lasagna was incredible and very light. The pappardelle noodles were great, and the sauce was good but basic. The carpaccio appetizer wasn't our favorite as it was overpowered by the mayo and roe taste. Would recommend the fiore cocktail for a floral summery drink!

Every time we eat out I suggest a craft and crew spot. I bought gift cards. I ordered catering from Duke on 7 last week. Today I went to Pub 819 with my 4 lb chihuahua...and suddenly I was treated like a problem customer. Because of my dog, when I've checked in at the front, they sent me around the outside to the back. So I've been adamantly respectful of that. When I told my family I was at Pub 819 and they should order Friday dinner to go from there, they trusted me. When my brother in law pulled in at the back of the restaurant in the rain, I stepped in to bring them their food from the front. The manager of Pub 819 came running along the route to the back entrance and took my fresh drink out of my hands. I told him I was following their orders to walk along the outside of the building to the back so I didn't walk through the restaurant with a dog. He said "we were cutting you off anyway." Ummm...what? That was never even an issue. Very random. I wanted to bring business to a local operation. So much for good intentions. I was humiliated. He took my drink out of my hands as I was trying to bring my family their food. I wasn't going to argue with him so I just left. We were seated in a cozy back dining area, the chairs were surprisingly comfortable, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. The lighting is dim and intimate, with a small table light that makes it easy enough to see the menu. The hallway to the restrooms is extremely dark, but the restrooms themselves are very nice, complete with quality hand soap and real hand towels instead of paper towels. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The décor is one of the first things that stood out to me. From the unique lighting fixtures to the rich wood accents, blue velvet chairs, and stylish mirrors, every room feels thoughtfully designed and visually appealing. The atmosphere feels upscale yet comfortable. The music upstairs near the bar leaned more toward a club vibe than I expected, which gave the space a fun, energetic contrast to the elegant dining room. It wasn't bad, but I was hoping for a much richer, more flavorful broth. My partner ordered Calamri and really liked it because its like it should be. My friend even tried it for the first time. The Hot Brick was absolutely worth ordering. It was interactive, delicious, and made for a fun experience to share at the table. Even my friend, who tried all of the sauces, enjoyed them. My steak was outstanding--easily one of the best steaks I've had. It was perfectly cooked with a finishing salt that really brought out the flavor. The whipped potatoes were incredibly smooth, buttery, and comforting. Both my friend and my partner got the Chicken and Sausage Rigatoni. They both seemed to enjoy their food.
