There were four parts to this visit. I'm going to call them "movements."…read more Movement #1 - - Arrive. Greeted. Checking the place out. There are couches and tables, outdoor seating options, and the traditional bar like one would get at a sports pub. There are board games and and other items to tinker with. Seems like a cool place. Bartender immediately interacts and helps me to understand Kava, Kratom, and give me and overall orientation of the menu. Movement #2 - - We are given a sample of the Kava in traditional bowls on the house. The bartender has one with us. We talk about the flavor and remark on our numb tongues. Then we order drinks and settle into conversation. I had the Kratom with Mango Habanero Kombucka mixed in. It's good. Slowly my drink disappears. Eventually, The bartender remarks about the empty glass. I say I'll go for another one. Just like the first. Movement #3 - - Where's my second drink? Apparently, after confirming that he would make me a second drink, the bartender completely forgot. A couple of his friends came in and he took a seat next to them, only getting up to help a person who came in. I slurped my empty glass any time he walked by. Nothing. It was a bummer. Movement #4 - - I set my money on the counter and waited...and waited. Finally we flagged down the guy and asked how we paid. We had to walk down the length of the bar and pay him at the end. Couldn't just take my cash at the bar?!? Weird.

I said "I'm going to chill for now". He then said that this is place is only for paying customers, and gave me a gesture that I needed to leave, so I left. There was two people in the entire store... What if I just didn't want to purchase a drink, right then and there? I could understand if there was a shortage of seating, but nobody was in there... Not sure if he was having a bad day or what but I've never been to any type of lounge or cafe that treated a customer like that...

You can sit outside but ppl smoke out there and it is summer now,... no thank you. The bartender was great and patient with newbies. It is very confusing at first and the sticky menus do not help. However at 6pm, when they give a ritual toast in bowls, we were invited to be a part, not knowing it was a paid event. This left a bitter taste to our experience, excuse the pun Drinks were all good. Between the four of us, we had 9 drinks and tried a bunch. They were all good, esp the chocolate ones and the apple on tap Mondays you get one free for every two ordered These drinks were felt very mildly, some do not feel anything. For the cost of the drinks and all the ice used, most of my party were not impressed They preferred liquor but as a non drinker, this is good for me. I preferred the bubbly on tap Kava can be bitter, I think it tastes like tea. but I like the taste though initially numbs your mouth Nice location with plenty of parking. Food would be nice but this place is very small and limited. They do have snacks you can buy. Probably not return unless I was alone. Not cheap but a fun time with friends. If there was more seating inside it would be a game changer

Last time I want there with a few friends everything was the same, except the dining room looked a bit tired. Maybe time for a new carpet and refresh paint. I go once or twice a year so it's been a bit since I've seen it b Give it a try with your girlfriends. You won't want to leave the service, food and presentation is so special.

I am not allergic, so I asked for my side to contain dairy. The waitress brought the tiered plates and said, "Just a minute. Let me check that you have the correct side." She moved the plates around a bit and then said we were all set. Even with all of this, my daughter ended up with the dairy side. After she ate the food and began to feel ill, the waitress came back and said, "Oh you ate the side with dairy." She didn't seem to think it was a big deal. She just said, "Let me get your bill." I spoke to the lady at the door and told her the situation, saying I did not feel like I should have to pay the entire amount as neither of us got the food we were supposed to get. She said, "Let me see what I can do." She never came back to talk to me. The bill was cut in half. My daughter is also allergic to caffeine. The waitress did not know that "decafe" and "caffeine free" are two different things and that "decafe" does indeed have caffeine. My daughter was sick for an entire day of our vacation. This establishment really needs to be more careful with allergies. Thankfully my daugher's dairy allergy is not life threatening and she knew not to order decafe. But what if that were not the case?
