They people couldn't figure out how to charge me so that was a whole debacle , and I went to pay they charged me a whole month. Come to find out they lied and you can't let them know in advance and not be charged. Now I still appreciated the make up classes so I decided to sign up. Now when I called to say hey I put in the website we were out but we didn't receive anything saying we got a make up class they said oh you only get 2 a month and only for 30 days. I have now canceled my membership. Onto the experience itself. The instructor is nice but he didn't know any songs to help calm my daughter who was getting used to classes again. There is no way other than jumping in and using your arms to get out. I beg and plead find someplace else.

My son went from not being able to swim at all (or even take a breath) to swimming a whole lap by himself without taking a break. In fact, on the very last lesson of the summer, my son managed to swim a total of 9 laps. Coach Aaron enabled my son to make this much progress, which far exceeded my expectations for the summer. My son also worked on and improved his freestyle and breaststroke under Coach Aaron's guidance. To quote my son, "Coach Aaron is nice and patient and listens to me." (Sometimes my son would say he wants to do a dunk or try to reach the bottom of the pool with his toes, and Coach Aaron would let him do that for a bit before going back to swimming. I thought that was a great strategy on Coach Aaron's part for developing rapport with my son.) I would love to have Coach Aaron continue teaching my son next summer, and my son is genuinely excited about that.

Swim lessons are an investment, and our expectation was to have some degree of feedback and skills awareness at the end. We appreciated that they took time and care to do this. --- Overall, the program was good for getting our then 4-year old comfortable in the water, and being able to back float and swim to the wall. However, at her current more evolved stage (now 7, learning how to breath from the side and stroke consistently), we yearn for teachers that themselves demonstrate and model HOW in the water, and provide targeted feedback for practice.
