But I felt something is off, and I want to correct mistakes and improve techniques if possible. So I started taking 30min weekly lessons with Aaron. It last several months. I liked the instruction and feedback in each lesson. In the end, I feel I learned a lot and improved all four strokes as I was hoping to. I am still not very good at some of the areas pointed out by him, but at least I am aware of them. I even learned and practiced freestyle flip turn. Without proper supervision and guidance, I would be afraid to attempt myself. Overall, I feel the money and time are well spent.

Older kids easily made friends and played with the provided floaties and pool toys. The staff was attentive, life guards were on stand by the entire event. Teacher Karen is truly exceptional. She is a seasoned professional who knows exactly how to balance challenging the kids to grow while remaining patient and understanding of their limits. She knows exactly when to push for progress and when to move more slowly. She makes every lesson fun, putting the kids at ease immediately. We feel very confident in the skills they are developing under her guidance. In our time here, both children have gained vital water safety skills. From day one, she was incredibly kind and patient, creating such a safe and fun swim environment. In just a short time, my daughter went from knowing nothing about swimming and being nervous to even put her face in the water to confidently swimming from one end of the pool to the other. At only 2 1/2 years old, she can now hold her breath underwater for a long stretch and even jump in the pool and swim across, which is something I never imagined she'd be doing this soon. What I appreciate most is Ms. Dianna's gentle approach and the way she met my daughter where she was at. She truly understands how to encourage progress without pressure, and the results speak for themselves. My daughter is very shy around new people, and Bethany had her comfortable and in the water incredibly quickly. She made a tremendous amount of progress over the course of the summer and loves the pool now! My mom decided to try swimming lessons too after seeing how wonderful Bethany was with my daughter, and she loved her classes with Bethany too. We're so glad we tried this out and will definitely be doing more classes next summer!
