Half the bays are always out of service. The other half usually have something that doesn't work properly. So this place is not maintained at all. Also, you have to drive through a big pile of mud to get in there and wash your car. Just a few minutes Will add up to $10 Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. read more

I've been going here for many years. Very kind that patrons can use the vacuums. Sorry to see they were recently vandalized unfortunately. I wanted a quick rinse of my car and it cost $2.50 however, my bank account says the charge is $5.00 (pending). Glad I caught it. The stall would not take coins so I had to use my debit card. I called and left a voicemail. Hope they fix the charge before it goes through. read more

I have gone to Flying Frog 2x recently and kept hoping for a better experience. I spent $11 on a wash but the soap never came out of the spray or the brush. The vacuum had almost no ability to pick up dust/dirt and was very frustrating. As a company that seems interested in delivering a good product you are not in this situation. Have some over site in the services to ensure reliability and success. Very disappointed on both occasions. read more

Charged my CC $17.25 for a charge of $2 (noticed the overcharging the next day). I tried MANY times to contact someone from the company, but their telephone line immediately dumps into voicemail, and no one returned my calls. Their website has no alternative mailing address or telephone number listed, which says to me they want to make it really difficult for you to contact them. Reading through these comments, it seems Flying Frog is notorious for covertly overcharging its customers, even to the exact amount I was billed ($17.25). Buyer beware! read more

I cannot believe in reviewing a car wash but here I am. I've avoided self wash places like this because the one I remember was terrible and "for the big trucks". I needed to clean my wheel wells on the rental (they may have had some mud...) but didn't want the car to get touched and risk any damage. The flying frog fit the bill with convenient credit card option, multiple settings and a dryer. I ended up going rogue and doing the whole car because it was so much fun. The free vacuums are a good touch and picked up road trip candy and hiking grime no problem. I likely won't be back since I don't live in town but my word, can you send one of these to STL? read more

Its a very convinient car wash and vaccum center. I was just in yesterday, all the water worked but as soom as i asked for chemicals and soaps, no luck. they didnt activate. I got a good clean with the vacuum, one was broken didnt pull air. The others did a good job. read more

Needs more frequent maintenance. Always something broken or worn out in half the bays. I too got overcharged on my credit card and like others it goes straight to voicemail with no follow-up when you try to contact them. If you can find a bay that works and has a brush that isn't worn to the nubbins then it's an ok car wash. To end on a positive note - the vacuums are free (when they're working). read more

I visited on 3/6/24 and swiped my bank card. Nothing worked, not even a drop of water or soap. I went to the next bay over, same thing. I think the entire facility was frozen over as there was ice on some of the tools in some of the bays. I pulled out and parked on the street while I looked for another place to go and noticed two other vehicles do the same thing, they tried and left without getting a car wash so it was clear that nothing was working. I hit stop on the machine as soon as I noticed nothing was working. I was still charged $2.00. I know that's not a lot of money, but I drove from Redmond to Bend just to get my car washed (I can't take mine through a regular car wash), left with a dirty car and was still charged for a service I didn't receive. I have called and texted the number they provide on the machine but no one has answered or called me back. It seems this is a REGULAR occurrence, people getting charged or overcharged and no one ever answers the phone. The 1 star reviews outnumber the positive reviews here. They shouldn't be allowed to keep stealing from people. read more

I'm blown away!!!! Seriously, every self serve car wash is expected to be 3 star with an expectation of cleaning the vehicle again with your own material because of left over residue and such. But at Bend Carwash, they just raised the bar. The vehicle looks like it was detailed. I just used their own material and every selection. The triple foam conditioner is great, the paint looks amazing. I know it's funny to get blown away by a self serve wash products, but I have never used something so great as this. read more

I had some issues with the features, but overall a perfect solution for dusty road trips.

No soap in the bay we used. Tape over the quarters slot. Five dollars later and all we got cleaned were two floor mats.

Price increase to $3.00, which is more than the other self-serve car wash facilities in town charge.

This place is so unbelievably expensive! Yes, there are many options, but seriously, $27 to wash my car MYSELF. Never again.

I thought it was good I got to pay less than I would if I had someone else do it and add all the same equipment I got confused because I use the tire washer on my entire car I didn't understand they had to push a button and then you change it and then you can use the other features that are in the car wash it was a good price afterwards to go forward and for free vacuum inside the car read more

To start, the credit card option makes it so easy to pay and you don't have to keep pumping quarters. Then they have a very soapy power sprayer followed by a true spotless rinse. What also sets it apart is the power blower which has many uses. read more

I just finished a weeklong motorcycle trip and my bike was covered in mud, bugs, and grime. I saw the positive reviews on Yelp and decided to check out Bend Car Wash. As stated in other reviews, it was very clean and well signed. I appreciate self-serve washes that accept credit cards. Multiple options for washing which worked great... and an option I've not seen before but fell in love with... the turbo air dryer. It worked like a charm and before I knew it not only was my bike clean (without any hand scrubbing I might add), but it was dry as well. I even washed and dried my helmet. My only negative was I stepped in the center drainage area and soaked my boot and foot. If I was washing a car it would never have happened. I'll be back next time my bike is dirty. Some of the car wash bays are often not functional. For example, I pulled into one the bays, swiped my card and went to use the high pressure sprayer...and nothing comes out. Basically, the entire system at that bay was not functioning. Basically paid for a car wash and got nothing. So, I thought I was just unlucky and I pulled into another bay and paid for a second time. This time the sprayer worked but when I tried to select the foam brush that you manually clean the car with...no soap comes out. Then, I tried using their triple foam conditioner that comes out of the gun and nothing comes out of that either. I decided to give the phone a number on the machine a call and left a message. I ended up getting a call back from the manager. He seemed surprised of this information and I'm thinking I can't be the only one as there was no doubt, based on the condition of their systems that there were probably quite a few others that this also happened to as well. Anyway, in the end he offered to refund my two washes plus a small $5 wash card and he said that he would be sending the refund by check to my address. It's now been a month and still haven't seen a check. The I kind of feel that the guy was just trying to appease me on the phone. Oh and there was one other time that I used their dry vacuum. Well, that too resulted in a vacuum that was about as strong as the old handheld "Dustbuster"! So I ended up getting most of debris out of my car by using my hand. I certainly don't enjoy doing negative reviews but this place is taking people's money without any quality control. What a waste of time. read more

So I am currently here it is 7:27 in the morning on Saturday I had just lost my home and everything in it in a fire so whatever I could salvage out of the fire was in my car so I was here cleaning it out the people that come in the morning to clean this place told me three times that I needed to leave because they needed to clean I had to help them empty the trash barrels and carry them to the dumpster because he said it was too much trash as I'm crying trying to wipe the soot off my kid's pictures he then comes up to me and tells me to move my car out of his way because he needs to use the weed blower to blow the trash away from the vacuum that I was using so I had to pack up all of my things put them back into my car and pull down two different vacuum I come here all the time and I have never been treated with such disrespect in my life normally when the trashes are overflowed I clean them up I bring my own garbage bags which I have today also and clean it up myself these people are very rude and very unprofessional that are here I'm sitting in my car right now crying because I don't want to get out and be yelled at again read more

I washed my Tacoma on June 4, 2022 and the two west stalls didn't have hot water or power wash function working. Rest of stalls were full so I tried using power rinse feature to knock off mud from my truck that was marginal in pressure. Giving up I pressed the stop button several times and noticed it continued to clock more time. I waited close to 15-20 minutes trying to stop the timer repeatedly before it finally stopped the meter. Couple of weeks later I noticced my CC was charged $28.25. I called the number on the website and a guy answered saying he had just bought the car wash a few months earlier and was aware of the problems with equipment and was working to resolve them. Gave him the card number I used and he promised to refund the charges on my card yet never did. Called in a second time, same guy answered, apologized for not getting the refund done, would get it done by next day. Called again a couple of weeks later and left message reminding him to do the promised refund, never got a call back. Two months later still no refund for the charge and am leaving this review. In my opinion this the new owner of the carwash is unethical, his equipment unreliable, takes only cards as payment leaving the public vulnerable to his bad behavior. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! Best do it yourself car wash in town. So many different types of soaping, rinsing, washing, waxing and drying options. Really friendly customer service as well. Plus, it's in quiet part of town and they have plenty of aisles so you don't have to wait for a spot to open up. Give it a try!!! read more
