This company has some shady practices. Spoke to Bob for one event last year, quoted me a price and…read morethen closer to the event he finally sent me an invoice, which took forever to get, it was a higher price than agreed upon. Even though everything was done through text and I had proof. So I went with someone else. Being that last year's event was the same as Derby weekend I gave him the benefit of the doubt and attempted to reach out for our event this year. He quoted me a price, again via text but hadn't sent the invoice so I could put down the deposit. I questioned it and Bob assured me that we wouldn't lose the limo he had just been busy. 10 days later he texts me to say we can't have that limo and I quote "the Hummer was booked after we talked". You mean after we agreed and I was waiting for you to send me an invoice that you assured me we wouldn't lose just because you hadn't gotten to it? Seems shady. Bob did offer me two other options, a town car or a party bus at a higher price. I went ahead and booked with another company. I really tried to give them an opportunity to do right and not hold last year against them but I don't think they'll get a third shot at my business. I will say after I told Bob I booked with another company he offered to give gift certificate due to the inconvenience but I passed. Just be careful when booking with Bob's company.

If you're from out-of-town and on your way to the Creation Museum or visit the Ark Encounter in Petersburg, KY... *DO NOT STAY AT THE SUNRISE INN* 1. The rooms were filthy. There were mouse droppings along the baseboard behind the beds as well as hair, food and other small debris. Another guest admitted to me that her floors were so filthy it made the bottom of her new white socks completely dirty. 2. The pool was a lagoon. Green water with trash floating around. 3. Condemned building on premises. I'm sorry. I do not like this place. In my opinion, the entire establishment is well on its way to a non-repairable state as a result of neglect.

The level of customer service provided by our tour guide, Bruce Raque, was truly exceptional and went above and beyond what one might expect. He went out of his way to give us some history of distilleries and the area, as well as showing us some local spots that the locals love. We really appreciated all that he did for us, from picking us up at our hotel, visiting local distilleries, taking us to a great BBQ lunch spot, and dropping us back at our hotel. To Bourbon Excursions, thank you for an amazing first Bourbon City Tour experience. We will definitely come back for a second!
