The music and overall vibe were spot on. Not too loud, not too quiet -- just right to kick back, relax, and actually enjoy a conversation with the people you're with. That's something a lot of places miss, but they nailed it here. The atmosphere has a cool, easygoing energy that makes you want to stay awhile. It's the kind of place you can hang out, unwind, and just enjoy the moment without feeling rushed or crowded. If you ever find yourself in Dripping Springs -- or if you're local -- this is definitely a must-visit spot. I'll for sure be back next time I'm in the area. With all that said, go thru the door on the right.....better known as the "speak easy" side.

I was a little surprised by the price though; $13/drink seems about three bucks too high to me, but maybe I'm just too used to paying small town prices for my drinks. Got a little buzz and I'll be back because I gotta go through the "secret" door!

We were a little lost when we first arrived because the door is quite subtle, but fortunately someone else was also entering. Our servers were all very friendly and we were seated by the manager. I highly recommend making a reservation--the only reason we got in was because another reservation for 10:00 didn't show and it was almost 20 past! The drinks were good and they have a pretty solid list of "experimentals" as well as some themed drinks for the bar. I had the Daisy and an espresso martini and enjoyed both. All in all, I think this place is great for a 1:1 or coming with a small group of 2-4 people. And our receipt came inside of a book, which added to the quirkiness of the place. Would definitely come back!

Our server was very friendly and attentive. This is where things change. The bartender, asked me if i was born stupid because the door was held open for longer than he'd prefer. As our server was sitting us, we could overhear the bartender saying things about us to bar guests. Totally uncomfortable situation. We stayed for one round of drinks and left as we felt totally unwelcome due to this guys actions. Great place, but how do you run a business with rude staff like that. Also, two signature drinks, two glasses of wine shouldn't cost over $100.

They kept the nautical theme throughout the restaurant, which you really notice from the bar area where I sat. Service was friendly and very attentive even on a slow Sunday although though I'm guessing this location might be more of a dinner spot. There's plenty of seating both downstairs and upstairs, which makes it a good option for larger groups. As for the food I went with the Connecticut-style lobster roll since it was a warm afternoon, but the menu offers a solid variety of seafood and non-seafood options along with some delicious desserts like the key lime pie which I also got to try. Prices are definitely on the higher side as expected with quality seafood, but I had a coupon that helped offset the cost. I can't say I'd come here regularly because of the price point, but if I'm in the area and craving seafood this would easily be my go-to place.

The calamari was rubbery and the portion was tiny for $17. The mini lobster roll is embarrassing. $14 for a literal "bite" of lobster. Three of us had arrived earlier and ordered already and our server came by to greet us two and take our drink order right away if we were ready. We were not so she gave us some time and came back. Throughout the night, she checked on us. At the end of the night, she offered to split all our checks and remembered everyone's orders and how to to accurately split the drinks. Each lady paid for an appetizer. The appetizers were all very good though I would say there are limited gluten free options. The girls shared the Tempura Cauliflower. It looked really good and apparently was also delicious but unfortunately not gluten free. The Charcuterie Board with cheese, salami, pepperoni, and smoked salmon was yummy, as were the brussel sprouts and chicken kabobs. The server said the marinade was not gluten free but I decided to eat it anyways. The chicken was juicy and seasoned well. I really liked the brussel sprouts too. The Dirty Martinis and Paper Plane were great. My friend had the Cucumber cocktail but opted for soda water instead of Sprite and she said it was really good. It looked pretty. The restaurant offers a nice vibe for hanging out and has a great selection of cocktails, wines, and food. I didn't get a chance to try an entree but I'm sure they are good. We had the best server so I'd say this place is a winner.
