Absolutely amazing! The onion rings are the best I've had. Ever. Ever. The service was prompt. The food was delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is quaint and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The prices are tolerable and the restrooms are clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will leave my house and drive to this place just to eat here again. I do not live too close, but it is worth every mile!

We were visiting and decided to have lunch here on a Thursday. Their daily special on the wall included a BOGO steak burger so we ordered that, beef soup, chicken with small house salad, and chicken lettuce wraps. The burger and chicken were dry, the soup was flavorful but lukewarm, and the wraps were okay. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a small dining area and small bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The waiter was friendly and the food took awhile to come.

This is a delightful farm-to-table restaurant that instantly stole our hearts. [[HIGHLIGHT]]With handcrafted cocktails, live music, and the ability to accommodate specialized dietary needs, this place had all the makings of a perfect dining experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was warm and inviting--romantic yet relaxed--with a well-stocked wine bar, a friendly staff, and a scratch-made menu that spoke volumes about their commitment to quality.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Please visit my page to see the full review at https://reneeskitchenquest.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=3298&action=edit

A Big A$$ Bloody Mary is legit.
    William E.

We stopped by here for a birthday brunch while in dripping springs for a wedding. Food was great. We had the big a$$ bloody Marys, which was like a whole separate meal. Fries are really good. It's amazing how a little attention to detail and some spice can really upgrade basic fries. More places should bother. The BLTECA looked simple on arrival but the flavor was delicious. Quavo rancheros looked great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Casual ambience and delicious chili and down-home wait staff make this a great authentic place to stop for deliciousness.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lovely children playground and the bathroom was nice and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff at Homespun are kind and helpful, ready to help with your meal.

Nice atmosphere and good food. I had fish & chips. My son and grandson say that this place has the best chicken fried steak in the Hill country. Our server was busy but still attentive. We will return

It first operated as a stagecoach outpost & blacksmith shop. And it famously built the Tavern in Comal County during prohibition. It wasn't until the 1950s that a dance hall pavilion was added to the property. And while the tavern wasn't made famous through country songs, it remained a popular watering hole for the locals. Today, the new owners have helped revitalize the dance hall and brought about a renewed appreciation for this musical outpost. Some of the greatest singer/songwriters come to play at Devil's so be sure to check out the list of upcoming shows. So put Todd Snider in your playlist, check your GPS, and take a drive out to Fischer for a cold beer and great music! On a more personal note, I would love to see more listening room / storytelling type shows and album signing opportunities where artists can take advantage of the great acoustics and intimate space. Their solution: FREE BEER ALL WEEKEND. Now, it's impossible to give anything less than 5 stars when it's free! We indulged in 4 Pints & ordered food/tipped back heavily enough to compensate for the freebies. It's simply a beautiful workaround to stay open & stay relevant- plus, staff are still getting paid. We did both the smashburger and chicken sliders - 3 of each & all different styles ($15/ set) - @ $5/ ea, that was kind of high but more variety. The single sammie is definitely a better value. They were tasty. Again, with free beer - hey, still a great deal! The grounds alone are worth the visit. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. They shared the background story for this veteran owned business & it was all just very inviting. The beers we had were all good. My favorite was the dark stout, which was a very solid stout.

We've visited once and are looking forward to a return visit soon. Lots of trees and outdoor seating, live music, food trucks, and a welcoming tap room. So let's talk about that tap room and the pours within it: There are 12 beers on tap (again, hence the name). We've not been through them all but the couple we've were up there with some of the best we've had in Europe. No joke. Like most breweries they have regular beers on tap as well as seasonal pours. N/A options also available. Helles on Wheels is a German lager (oh yes it is) that's light and refreshing. The Hero is also an amazing pour. I'm a huge fan of Hefeweizen and this is one of the best I've ever had. The McGregor actually really reminds me of Ireland. Like a beer you'd find in a quaint village and wish you could take it home with you. Lots of others that we need to get back and try out. Welcoming and fun place.
