This man did a spectacular job moving me. He went above and be what most movers would do. I went from queens to the upper east side and I had a very large couch and a large bed. Additionally I had multiple boxes and rugs and wasn't really packed well. He went out of his way to help pack and move any item i needed moved. The move took ten hours and required multiple trips due to the amount of stuff I had and the fact I moved to a four story walk up. He had the best rate and did the best job. Murat and his guys are the most reliable and accommodating movers you can possibly ask for. I was in a strange situation where I was looking to move ASAP but I had to coordinate the move-out from my former apartment and into my new apartment with property management and other matters. So, I booked Murat for one Sunday and then had to cancel, but he was very accommodating and kept in touch with me to organize my move. My former apartment then became a suffocating and unbearable place to stay in, and so I called Murat on President's Day afternoon and asked if he could do it that very day evening or night. I sent him the photos of the stuff I needed moved and he responded in half an hour that he would do it. He and his colleagues moved my stuff at 7pm on a holiday and got everything done and settled in an hour. My move was from West to East Harlem, Columbia University area. He accepts small moves too. I moved 1 room of stuff from a first floor apartment to a 5th floor apartment with no elevators, and was charged in the $200 range, and I tipped him well because I really appreciated his promptness in taking on this move and in not letting me down. I had 2 fragile pieces of equipment (Chinese zithers) and he handled that carefully, ensuring no damage. They worked with my schedule and helped me wrap things in plastic / blankets. Every move has a couple blips. What I liked about Murat is that he helped me fix them. Murat and his assistant Avi were super helpful, very courteous, positive and friendly. It occurred to me during the move that I ought to have them swap out a couch and file cabinet at the first stop in Brooklyn and take them to the second place. Murat was very accommodating and saved me a lot of trouble! He even disassembled my couch so that it could fit up the narrow stairs to the second level of my workshop.
