The two movers arrived exactly at the scheduled time listed in my agreement. They were friendly, professional, highly skilled, and incredibly efficient. I unexpectedly needed a few additional items boxed on moving day, and they handled everything without hesitation. Every item was packed and transported with great care. Nothing was broken, damaged, or missing. The move into my new space was just as smooth as the move out of my old one. They carefully followed all of the building's rules for elevator use, placed furniture exactly where I requested, and neatly stacked boxes in the appropriate rooms. What impressed me most was their professionalism and attention to detail. They communicated clearly throughout the process, regularly checked to make sure I didn't have any questions, and truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was done right. Before leaving, they removed all of the packing materials they had used and left both my old and new homes clean and tidy. The entire move stayed on schedule and was remarkably efficient. I honestly could not have been happier with how smoothly everything went. The two movers assigned to my move were truly exceptional--kind, courteous, hardworking, and diligent professionals who clearly take great pride in their work. They lost all our kitchenware... plates, bowls, etc. they lost family heirlooms, antiques and things that were of emotional value to me. When my husband left a poor review, they said they would pay to have it removed. He accepted without thinking. We had hardly unpacked all the boxes. We knew all the kitchen stuff was missing. But after opening everything, the truth became clear. I am still heartbroken about what is missing. But there is nothing I can do now except warn others! Don't do it, go somewhere else. Better yet, do your own box counting system. Don't trust theirs.

We have moved multiple times in east cost always use the same mover from NY. This time thought of trying a NJ based mover. Here are the issues 1.Lack of professional behavior. They came inside saw that entryway table had a few bills picked them up asked me which currency it is. 2. One of the kitchen packers opens lid of my spice box (I had leaves and chillies puts his nose in sniffs and asks what is it? 3. Packed every little thing in white wrapper so unpacking was hell. Single stainless steel spoon wrapped in 4 layers of packing . 4. Who does this .packing open can of bleach with groceries. While unpacking I saw white dust thought its paint once I hit end of box it was bleach so ended up throwing everything from that box. Which professional mover does that 5. Random packing. I had very organized closet but they picked random items and packed in diff boxes so i had box with sweaters pillow covers photo frames and belts all from diff parts of closet. LASTLY we were given pricing we paid that by bill and paid $800 extra over that without receipt as they demanded that they packed box. When vector gave me a quote it included 10 medium boxes $20 per box but the guys packed everything with white wrapper in kitten not one but 4 sheets and increased boxes packed to 30 , unethically charging us for small boxes stuffed with white paper. Please note it was a very painful experience and no one deserves this kind of billing or nonsense

However, note the following: Packing and moving services were both utilized. Representative came to review primary location of belongings to be moved (approx. 90-95% of the total) and was provided with a detailed video of the remaining items, stored at a different location. Despite this upfront information, (a) the total weight was significantly in excess of the estimated amount, resulting in damage to the transport vehicle and a 2-day delay, and (b) at the secondary location the supervisor informed us that there was insufficient room for everything. He had to be cajoled and convinced into making the extra effort... which proved effective and successful. A number of bookcases were damaged during while handling and required subsequent repair, at our expense. One item was a tool cabinet containing a variety of hand tools, hardware, and the like. The crew's solution to this was to simply wrap and seal the cabinet in plastic, and put it in the truck. By the time it was in place at the destination, we found that the contents were in utter chaos, luckily with minimal breakage. Some softbound oversized books were placed in boxes haphazardly or sloppily, resulting in significant creasing of wide swaths of pages. A few items additional appear to have gone missing (none of particular value) and a small number of items were broken. Overall I would in fact recommend their services, particularly in consideration of the pricing, but I would strongly recommend that if you contact them for packing services that these be closely and carefully supervised.

I told every company that we have a small move as we had been moving things little by little by ourselves, only Lynn provided me with the lowest minimum hours and competitive pricing. When I said I would get back to her, I appreciated her persistence in following up. They estimated 2.5 hours of work and Carlos and his team did a great job efficiently moving things, only took 30 more minutes than they estimated. They also didn't have any hidden charge for wrapping material for couch etc. My husband at the receiving address said they were very careful with our newly renovated home, the floor, the wall etc as they moved and assembled furniture. After the move, the owner Diego himself reached out to check in and asked for feedback. As somebody running a business myself and working with business owners, I really appreciate how they run their business, the efficiency, the flexibility and the care. Issues were threefold: - Eric basically represented and used a facility that does its own direct auto transport. When questioned (because they were cheaper) he highlighted his business as better due to a number of factors. None of these ended up coming to fruition. - the Rando he got to transport my car was horrible. Lack of communication or updates. Ended up delivering the car two or three days later than promised (meaning I missed being able to inspect the car). And throughout the process was full of lies regarding arrival time and why he wasn't delivering on time. - car was damaged during transport but because I was out of town for 2 months after the fact and wasn't able to confirm and share this with Eric (because it was delivered late) I had no recourse for costs to fix the damage. - finally, In reviewing his end of year books, Eric got confused about a voided transaction (I had been charged twice initially and there was a void in his books). He assumed that it was me doing it due to my dissatisfaction and charged my credit card again without confirming the issue with me. He left messages while I was in a meeting and then charged my card without confirming. When I called, he apologized for his angry action but for someone who highlights professionalism amongst his traits, I feel this was way out of line. I was going to just leave things as is and not write a review and leave things as they were in August but given the action he took today I felt compelled to warn others.

I tend to get used to a product and am disappointed when manufacturers decide to no longer make it. Anyway, they, like other stores I've tried, don't carry the product. But, I found the two people working in the store extremely friendly and helpful. The store is very clean and stocked with a wide variety of boxes and moving/packing supplies. I was delighted to find out that there's a self storage facility so close to my home, in case I need one again. The last storage unit I rented was all the way across town. If you need a storage unit near Saddle Brook, Elmwood Park, Fair Lawn, Rochelle Park or Paramus, this location might be the most convenient for you.

WORST experience I've had with movers in 20 YEARS!!! To put things into perspective, I've lived in 4 countries and 7 states and have dealt with over a dozen moving companies over the years. When it came to customer service, this company was horrendous. They showed up mentioning that they were short staffed for the move (one of their employees called out), so I volunteered to help them. After the two guys (they were nice guys) started moving our furniture a third guy on the truck started berating me saying that we were taking advantage of what was being moved? Mind you, I didn't even meet this guy yet and he started screaming at me. Taken aback I told him that if I was taking advantage I wouldn't be volunteering to help his staff move my own furniture that I am paying them for! He then screamed at me and said that I don't need to help them and then continued to berate me. Turned out he had a bad experience at a previous move before ours and was lashing out at me. I told him whatever isn't agreed with on the items not being moved I'll take them off the truck (and so I moved items that his staff put on their truck and moved them off myself). After that he calls the head owner and then gives me the phone, who then the head owner starts being condescending and berates me about "items being added to the move." Not once did they admit that they were in the wrong, their receptionist didn't communicate with us correctly (apparently we were supposed to get an email confirmation on items being moved?). Also, no one took the time to actually listen to us, instead they automatically blamed us and lashed out because they were already frustrated with another client. It is truly unfortunate that they conducted business that way. The two gentlemen that were actually doing the moving were very kind but the owner and his son thought they were doing us a "favor" when we were actually paying for a service. The one star is for the two movers who worked hard and deservedly received a tip. After this experience I will NEVER use them again and will tell all of my own clients to find a company who has more professionalism so they will never go through what I went through. Since they have a decent record review wise, maybe it was a bad day for them but they had every opportunity to turn it around and chose not to. Hence this review. I recently moved out of my home and into a condo and I highly recommend Peter Ferraro. My job was a small one, but Peter and his crew treated me and my belongings as if we were as important as any large move. Peter was punctual, calling to confirm when they would be there, and his crew of three men moved quickly and efficiently. They moved me out of my home and into my condo in just over an hour, and that included going up and down flights of stairs. The price was fair and I paid exactly what was quoted to me when I booked over the phone. Peter's movers were even willing to help take a few extra heavy boxes upstairs for me that I had previously brought over to my garage at the condo. Peter Ferraro and Sons moved us from Northern NJ to Eastern Long Island recently. He and his staff made this as seamless as possible, especially given that we had been in our home for almost 39 years. Everything was carefully wrapped and protected depending on the needs of the specific item. The workers performed as a team, and as such were extremely efficient, and obviously well trained. This was our first move by professional movers. We had searched the Better Business Bureau and saw that Peter Ferraro & Sons Moving was highly recommended. I received an in house inspection and estimate with helpful hints and moving. The 4 man crew arrived on time and were very police and extremely careful with our furniture and our packed boxes. They loaded all or our furniture and boxes (about 60) in less than two hours and arrived promptly at our new home in good time. They promptly unloaded, assembled and located our furniture and boxes according to my directions. The crew was polite, careful and very professional. I had a great experience using this moving company. Peter came to complete my estimate, was very polite, and gave me all the info I needed. It is very easy to work with this company, Jackie is also very nice and informative each time I called with any questions/ making my deposit. Peter Ferraro & sons moving company are true professionals. From the time they arrived until the job was done we felt our move was going to be s'mmooth sailing, and it was. They acknowledge when they saw something wrong with an item just to let us know the "wrong" was there before hand. They were quick, but not too quick to the point that things were not done. They also called to inform us of an error on the bill and that we would be getting money back, now that's what I call an honest, professional and courteous company. Peter and complete team from the office to the movers are very professional. the movers treated my furniture like it was their own. They wrapped everything in moving blankets to protect the furniture. Upon arrival at the new home they even wrapped the from door and the door posts to protect the furniture and my home entrance. Peter Ferraro Moving is the best! I have used them 3 times now, and each time the movers are prompt, professional, and friendly. They are extremely careful with your belongings. Everything is handled with great care. They wrap all the fragile items in blankets, they pack the truck with precision, and when they unload, again it is with great care and attention to the items and to your home. We've used Peter Ferraro Moving & Storage more than several times. From the time the phone is answered through to the end of the move, the experience is always positive. Jackie in the office was great with me when I didn't even have a date set and I was a nervous wreck. The estimate seemed fair to me , the guys were very polite and friendly , had me laughing . They worked fast and in the estimated time I was all moved in to my new apartment . He hired me and made me work with a drunk employee who then injured me while he was drunk with a fork lift. And chris tells me not to go to workman's comp and to trust he will take care of me. He then fired me about a month after, and never gave me any money. Also most of your stuff probably is highly radioactive because they store people's things next to retired medical gear that was deemed too radioactive for the dump.

I actually didn't expect that level of care for my furniture. It ended up raining as we arrived to move in. The team put blankets down to wipe their feet prior to coming into the home as to make sure the house didn't get too messy. I appreciated that little extra, this is making the clean up a lot easier.
