I did not do a whole lot of research on office furnishings prior and needed to get this done fast. Overall my experience was good, however getting the furnishings delivered was a bit disorganized . I had to call in a couple times to get the date figured out and it came down VERY close to the wire for me since I was vacating the old office and moving into the new one and needed furniture to avoid disruption in my business . Their moving truck was also broken for about a week or so (understandable) and deliveries were slowed as a result. That was a red flag to me since many customers were at the mercy of just one delivery truck .. I questioned as to why there was not a rental truck or Penske or Uhaul loaner they could have had to avoid being back logged. Being that delivering furniture appeared to be a significant part of their business. I know trucks at uhaul are fairly easy to get as I have rented several on moments notice many times In the end the truck was fixed and we were able to finally get the furnishings delivered. The delivery crew was professional and courteous. I leave very candid feedback so perhaps this last small criticism leaves me open to rebuttal, but I was a little surprised that delivery charges were added when you spend thousands of dollars on furnishings? I understand costs need to be covered but I thought that the amount extra was a bit steep to pay on top of everything else I just purchased.

Today after something like 5 years, the pneumatic lift cylinder either failed or started acting up and I called them about getting it serviced. I brought it in right away and within 10 minutes they had fixed the chair and told me "no charge". I was more than happy to pay for the repair, but they told me it wasn't necessary. That's amazing service. If I ever need another office chair, I'd shop here first, they have an amazing selection of really nice refurbished top-quality options.

I had a carpet runner installed on top of old hardwood on my 15-step staircase and had a sizable…read morepiece left over. I needed a small, non-skid rug to put on the tile floor by the bottom step so that my little fur-baby wouldn't slip when pushing off to go upstairs. Based on a recommendation, I called T&J Carpet Binding and made an appointment to bring him the leftover carpet to cut it into a rug. Ted's knowledge, expertise and craftsmanship wowed me. He did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price, and I was able to bring the new rug home within a couple of hours. The extra piece of carpet had binding only on two sides. Ted cut the amount of binding he needed from the excess carpet and glued it to the other two sides of the new rug, giving it a bound look. Because the rug was going on tile, he applied an adhesive backing to the bottom of the carpet. We discussed it beforehand, and he assured me that the backing would not stain or discolor the tile and that it could be pulled up and any residue would clean up easily. Ted was very friendly, I enjoyed talking with him, and both my fur-baby and I love the new rug!

Patio Productions is a showroom located in Midtown with various outdoor furniture. They have indoor and outdoor areas where you can sit on the various furniture and look at color samples. I actually have really enjoyed my experience there both times, as they don't pressure or rush you. Someone typically offers assistance, and they let you walk around and look. Also, you can grab a soda water or a beer as you stroll around. A couple years ago, we purchased a wicker table with a glass top and matching chairs, also with Sunbrella fabric cushions and a matching umbrella from patio productions. It has been great quality and hasn't faded or chipped in the weather, despite that we have left it out the entire time. That time, our delivery date got pushed back a couple times, which was a little bothersome and we were wondering when the furniture would arrive. It did arrive and has been a great set for our outdoor dining. This time, we selected an aluminum patio set (sofa, loveseat, and two chairs) with matching Sunbrella fabric cushions, and furniture covers for everything. The experience was great and the furniture was delivered exactly on our requested date. They even had our selected Sunbrella color in stock. I love that the furniture came securely wrapped, but the delivery is curbside, and they do not take off the backing material. For us, it took two people with a knife and a pair of scissors 30 minutes to unpack... not to mention three large trash bags were filled with plastic packing material. Aside from the unpacking, we are very happy with the set and it looks really beautiful on our back patio. All in all, Patio Productions is a lovely showroom with lots of options and I recommend checking it out if you are looking for high quality patio furniture.
