I got one of the back to school coffees and it was super yummy!! I did order it half sweet and it's still realllllly sweet, so I'd keep that in mind!! Stopped at Foam Coffee while we were visiting the Gulf Shores area. My first impression was the café had great energy and good music. I also liked how bright it was in there. The employees were very chill and friendly. I ordered an iced unsweetened Matcha latte and it was refreshing and delicious! My husband had a decaf Cortado and enjoyed his as well. We both had our drinks inside the café and enjoyed the experience. We also bought some Matcha powder they had for sale and it tastes great. 5-stars! read more

Foam Coffee is an interesting coffee shop in an interesting space. They are right next to Isla Wine and they share a sign on the road. So when I walked into Foam Coffee it seemed quite busy and bustling and they had a bit of a surfer and beach theme going on. I inspected their coffee and food menu and made some choices. So they had an avocado toast listed on their menu so I decided to finally go over to the dark dirty hippy side and finally experience my first avocado toast with my coffee. So the coffee was nice while the avocado toast was very granola hippy... I love avocado but avocado toast wouldn't be my first option after sampling one. Overall this seems like a cool and popular spot to get your caffeine infusion accomplished. read more

I grabbed a drink from here for fuel to start my drive back up to Huntsville. This is a beautiful coffee shop with a nice patio. The decorations and overall vibes are super nice. Bright, airy, modern. The clientele is bougie enough that I felt a little out of place, lol, but I still enjoyed being there. I had a little bit of a hard time figuring out their menu. Signage is kind of limited and small, clustered on a counter which isn't easy to see if there's a line. I later found on their website that they have "local fave lattes," many of which sounded better than what I wound up ordering. I wish they'd been listed on a menu that I saw. At any rate, I decided on a shaken brown sugar latte. The employee who took my order was adequately if not effusively friendly. There were several young women working hard behind the counter to accommodate the large volume of orders. It took a bit for me to get my drink, but within a reasonable amount of time considering how busy they were. I thought the price was maybe a smidge high for the size of the drink, but what else is new these days? I got my drink and headed to my car. Overall, it was just okay. My first sip was a huge overly sweet mouthful of brown sugar; I don't think it was mixed super well. I moved my straw up and got a second mouthful of mostly milk. Then I used the straw to mix the drink myself and gave it a few gentle swishes with my hand. That helped some. This was a decent brown sugar espresso, but even after I mixed more thoroughly, it was still on the overly milky side for my preferences. Again, I wish I'd seen a different latte option to order. I think I might've liked a different flavor combination more. When I eventually return to the Gulf, I may give them another try and get something more up my alley. I enjoyed the modern, sunshiney, beachy vibes and would like to sit on the patio and enjoy a coffee when time permits. read more

Im so happy we stopped here before heading out of the Gulf Shores area. The vibe of this place is everything! The branding is cohesive and fun, lively, and bright yet simple and sleek. The offerings of coffee and matcha, plus both speciality and regular coffee give a lil something for everyone! The staff was super nice and patient even when it was very busy. We came on Sunday at 11 am and it was definitely packed-- took about 10-15 minutes to get our order. The PB toast was very good and so was the burrito. There's also a good mix of indoor & outdoor seating. Clean bathrooms too. For a burrito, toast, & speciality iced coffees, the total was $37. I would definitely come back here. We went to Foam today. We thought the vide was SUPER cute. A huge line which looked really promising. We got to order and asked for a carmel vanilla latte with cold foam. We asked the man taking orders if it was going to be sweet and he said yes. It was $17.30 for 2 coffees. I understand that small businesses have to charge more. And don't get me wrong, I love supporting small businesses. But when the coffee came out it tasted very very burnt. The cold foam even did as well. Coffee itself was 4/10. We tried hot and iced coffee in different flavors and everything was amazing. Very kid friendly with books and toys. Decent sitting areas with vintage furniture. Plus live plants which is always appreciated! Staff were friendly and even chatted a bit despite being busy. The main menu stays consistent, in addition a signature menu with specialty/seasonal drinks. A few food options are available as well including a breakfast burrito, toasts with toppings, yogurt bowl, etc. I saw online, they were offering a Strawberry Poptart Matcha. Boy it did not disappoint! Also practicing traditional technique by whisking the matcha powder with a bamboo whisk. This experience overall, surpassed my expectations. My girlfriend and I are staying next to this coffee shop, and while it's definitely cute and inviting with its decor and dog-friendly patio, I was a bit disappointed by the overall experience -- especially the staff. There was no warm welcome when we walked in. The menus are tucked into a small cup on the counter, and as a first-time customer, I found myself confused trying to locate them. Meanwhile, the staff just stared at us silently, talking only among themselves. The whole vibe was pretentious, and after reading some of the owner's responses to other reviews -- often dismissive or defensive rather than receptive -- it only reinforced my feeling that this isn't a business that values feedback or growth. As for the drinks, we ordered a brown sugar matcha and a strawberry matcha. Both were good, but the staff didn't ask what size we wanted, and overall weren't helpful when we had questions. I came here with my boyfriend on a beach trip and we loved Foam!! It was so cute inside and outside. The workers were very friendly and we didn't have to wait long for our coffee. The drinks were also SO good! I got the salted honey latte with cold foam and it was amazing, definitely a 10/10! My boyfriend got the salted coconut mocha latte and he loved it too! I nicely said "oops I think this is supposed to be a matcha!" And the barista didn't even look at me when she responded, she just rudely repeated the order & my name. She didn't even look up at me and her tone was as if I was the last person in the world she wanted to be talking to. I worked at a coffee shop for 2 years in Nashville where I dealt with tourists for years - I get it! But when someone spends money in your establishment, doesn't get what they ordered, and they kindly go up to ask for the right thing... don't be so RUDE!! Really sucks because the place is adorable, the decor vibes are great, but the service & staff set the tone more than anything else - and if you have consistently rude staff, your cute decor will not cover that up... bummer fr. The parking was a little tight, but the location was in a nice little nook. I came here on vacation expecting to find a really cute beach coffee shop, and that's exactly what I did! The inside was super clean and aesthetically pleasing. I ordered the Honey and Sea Salt latte, and I think this might be the best tasting latte I've ever had. It was so delicious and addictive. The prices are pretty steep so I would be wary of that, but they do make all their syrups in house which is pretty cool.
