I needed an emergency cushion for my family room couch and I had do a walk in. Man....I was pleasantly greeted by a young lady (I think it was Kelly). She asked me the pertinent questions and explained the various foams they provided. I gave her my measurements and in about 20 minutes I walked out with 2 cushions for around 50.00!! After purchasing several pieces of foam and pillows, and seeing the work in their showroom, we decided to have them upholster an antique settee for us (a settee is a kind of bench, if you don't know - they didn't.) I spoke with a sales rep, and an upholster, and then again with a rep and upholsterer before leaving my vintage piece with them and the fabric. I expressed to each person involved that the piece had been repaired and that they could not do a "drop in" cushion for the seat, but would need to do a traditional upholstered seat, ie, wrapping the front and side edges. It was pretty apparent that was how it was done in the past, since the original wood was peppered with nail holes, and the repaired piece of wood was quite obviously NOT the same as the original quarter-sawn oak. I made that clear to every one I spoke with. I was told it could take "up to 2 weeks". Four weeks later, I went to pick it up, and found they had done a drop in cushion, leaving the edge bare - which, in addition to showing the ugly repair, would be extremely uncomfortable to sit on! This is a settee we use as a sofa in our living room! I am being charged an extra $65 to fix this, if indeed they do fix it. Now I'm in a time crunch - a two week project that will take at least 5 weeks. Thank goodness I had extra fabric. They were very polite. I only hope my piece is finally right when I get it in a few days. I should have hired the more expensive upholsterer. Live and learn. read more

Called to find out about foam rubber materials as inserts for a small sofa seat cushion and back cushion. A couple of days later, called back to place an order. Final quote was 40% higher than initial telephone quote. Had questions about foam material selection, pricing, shipping. Literally EACH answer required several minutes of waiting on the phone and even a couple of call backs from them. It was as if their phone reps were outsourced from another country. They seemed incompetent and certainly inefficient. Ended up sending them postage to return my cushion covers. If you are thinking of getting an estimate by phone, I caution you to be aware of possible shenanigans and ask for an email estimate. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! The most incompetent staff and most unprofessional experience I have ever went through. I ordered a cushion. The sales lady told me how much fabric to order and stated it would take 2 weeks to finish. A month passes and I did not hear from them. I call and the lady could not find my order and says she will call me back. A week later I still do not receive a call. I call back. I finally speak to a lady who finds my order. She says they need more fabric. Shouldn't the sales lady have estimated the amount of fabric properly?! At this point I'm concerned that they messed up my fabric or lost it or something. Did they want me to read their minds regarding needing more fabric??? Notwithstanding, I order more fabric right away. Another week passes and I call again and am told it would be ready on a particular day. I call on that day and then they say "oh no it won't be ready for another week." At this point 2 months has passed!!!! They told me it would take 2 weeks. I tell the lady to cancel my order and that I will pick up my fabric. She says ok. I then get a call a few days later that my cushion is ready. I specifically said not to touch my fabric!!!! At this point I am livid. I should not have to spend hours trying to get a company to provide me a service. At this point I am disputing cc charges and eating the cost of the fabric (roughly $130) because I would rather do that than pay this company another dollar. BEWARE! read more

We took our love seat cushions to this business, they were late in completing the job one of the cushions was torn on the back while they were working, no one had bothered to check this. They called us to pick them up and charged me $20 to repair their mistake. As this was custom fabric we were stuck with this company and had to take the four cushions from the large sofa to them, they did the exact same thing. This time I refused to pay them to fix their mistake. I had to go 5 times to get one job done. The girl that in the office that Nicole consulted with is very rude. I gave them three stars only because the owner is a sweet guy and very helpful, he does need to hire better help and train them to QUALITY CHECK their work before calling customers to tell them their job is done. read more

I can't give anything less than one or I would. Our experience was totally awful. We got our cushions replaced and reupholstered. Had to go in two times to get measurements and a quote. When I called to see if the order was done on the date they said it would be I was told they had lost the order and it would be another two weeks. When I called to check again I was put on hold for 20 mins while they tried to track down my order. During the second call they notified me that they ran the fabric in the wrong direction. Ugh! after we specifically asked for it a certain way. We had to drive back down grab a cushion and bring it how to see how it looked. More wasted time. We agreed to keep them the way they were. Even though 50% of the order was done it still took them another 2 weeks to complete. We requested a discount for the hassle and the fabric being put on wrong. The counter clerked snapped at my wife, NO DISCOUNTS! The place is run my a bunch of young women that are unorganized, unprofessional, disrespectful, lack basic communication skills and seem from be suffering from ADD. It is incomprehensible to me that they are still in business. I would be very wary of getting any work done by them. They are not cheap. The quality is acceptable. Had all the cushions for two couches replaced with new foam. Nicole was very professional and helpful. She suggested the firmer foam after speaking with us and determining what we were looking for. The price was reasonable considering the cost of replacing two full size leather couches would have been much more expensive. The seat cushions were finished the same day and the back cushions were finished as promised two days later. I am so happy I found this place!!! read more

I just had a wonderful experience with this company. I ordered a king-size foam wedge to put between my mattress and box springs so that my bed would be on an incline. I was rather nervous because I live in Birmingham, Alabama, and knew nothing about this company located in Michigan. But since I could pay through Pay-Pal, which would provide me with some recourse if necessary, I decided to take the chance. The order process went smoothly. The cost of the foam and shipping costs were very reasonable. Shipping was fast...I received the foam in less than a week from the time I placed the order. I've read thru the other 'mixed reviews' (Yelp & Google)... These have been my experiences as a 4th time repeat customer since about 2007. My wife & I first did business with Foam n More via Ebay & were absolutely SOLD! Ordering~Purchasing online sight unseen could be a bit risky, but the customer service was informative & thorough enough to enable me to choose the right type of foam to suit our need. Top quality & true to what I was told. The sofa seat & back cushions were fantastic!!! Very supportive yet extremely comfortable. After approx 5 yrs. of hard, everyday use, the quality of the foam lasted & did not "break down or become soft or saggy" as with other re-upholstery foam I've encountered. In my estimation, if your going to drop money (invest) into quality fabric & re-upholstering, I want it to last for years... this foam has done just that. Regrettably, we ended up having to leave that sofa behind due to a cross-country move. 2nd purchase was for seat cushions for 4 reupholstered chairs, 3rd was for a set of dining chairs. With each purchase, customer service was very satisfactory, 'turn around & shipping time' was reasonable... due to size & weight of foam, shipping chgs. "are what they are" and are unavoidable. If you lived close to there location, that of course would be eliminated. So after 8 yrs. our 4th. purchase is for a new set of seat & back cushions for our current sofa... I needed foam to remake mattresses in a travel trailer. The foam in the fabric stores was extremely expensive for the sizes I needed. I found these guys online. They seemed to be too cheap. Even after shipping costs, it was less than 1/2 of what I would have paid anywhere else. I received the foam within 1 week of ordering it. It was exactly what I was expecting.
