We also had small pannies that were filled with steak and cheese, grilled chicken fresh mozzarella and tomatoes, and an amazing turkey avocado. The tuna salad was out of this world, and the house made raspberry vingerette was amazing. We also had a taco and fajita bar with all the fixings. The chicken was cooked amazing and the beef had a great flavor. If you are looking for something special, they are also very accommodating with making it for you. During my visit from out of state, I unfortunately became ill with a fever. I was craving some healthy, nourishing vegan food, and that is not easy to come by. A family member found Focaccia's and picked up takeout. I ordered the Vegan Buddha Bowl, and it was just what I needed. The bowl featured a colorful mix of quinoa, avocado, roasted sweet potatoes, edamame, chickpeas, baby kale, and baby spinach, all drizzled with tahini dressing. The quality of the ingredients was outstanding, the portion size was enough for 2-3 servings, and it truly helped me feel better. Cute little cafe! I enjoyed my breakfast sandwich so much I came back the next day and got another. Only downside is the menu seems to be pretty limited for breakfast. I would have liked maybe a fruit cup or yogurt to go with my sandwich but they didn't have anything like that. They're very accommodating if you want to make changes to what's on the menu. One day randomly I happened to try out this place and I really liked everything I had like Croissants (almond one is my favorite) and Onion bagel. They are located in Shelton and are near Outback Steakhouse. The Atmosphere inside is very inviting and warm. I chose a small caramel macchiato with non-fat milk, I thought $4.50 for a small was really pricy, especially since it wasn't super good. We came back this Morning for breakfast & because it wasn't busy, decided to eat in. We each ordered a crepe & OJ plus a small iced vanilla chai. While looking for a place to sit, we avoided several of the tables due to dead bugs on the windowsill right next to where you sit and food crumbs all over the tables. Not appetizing. Our crepes *looked* good. They tasted decent, although my strawberries were really mushy & bland. My chai was flavorful & I enjoyed it-- but there were two flies we were swatting at throughout our meal. Within an hour both of us had crampy stomachs & felt terrible. How do you take a decent little cafe with solid food that is maybe a step up from Panera and then make me not want to go back? Service service service. Oh, the person who took my order was fine. It was in the evening, about an hour from closing. She was pleasant though. But the backstaff -- the ones who make your sandwich -- showed a disinterest in me. They took a while first off. Fine. Then she was eating her OWN dinner right next to where my sandwich was being made. Using a fork, chewing it. No attempt to hide it. Then when another staff person pointed to me that I was still waiting for my order after nearly 10 minutes (and no one else to take care of), the other staff person just shrugged like "He'll get the food eventually...." I'm sure they didn't see that I could see, but I did see and that tells me all I need to know. Which is a shame, because I could be talking about this as an alternative if you wanted to get a sandwich. The panini I had was chock full of tasty ingredients. Huge chunks of chicken in it. Not pleasing looking. Was not unique and interesting like you'd imagine a Thai salad. I sent it back and asked for a turkey panini. Smothered in sauce and unmelted cheese. So rich. Barely any avocado on it and little lettuce. Would definitely not be back. Gross food. Oh and bathroom was a pigsty. When ordering a bowl at $5.99, you expect at least 16 oz, not here you only get 12 0z, which is usually a cup. Stopped on my way out of town for a quick bite... as I walked in I noticed the interiors are so much like Panera bread and so is the menu - soup, sandwiches, panini, bagels, croissants, muffins and in addition they have crepes made to order. We ordered the nutella crepes they came out a lil underdone and soggy.... didn't particularly like it... it would have been nice if it was done well. The croissants with homemade jam on the other hand was really delicious... warm buttery n flaky paired with a good cup of coffee. The worst of all was the pistachio muffin ... it looked so good but had so much artificial flavoring instead of the real stuff... I trashed it after just one bite. The Focaccia's Salmon Crepe contains cheese, tomato, and tartar sauce. The cheese was not fully melted and the salmon was rather tough. The buckwheat crepe itself tasted rather bad. Maybe it just needed a minute more on the heat? I really hate wasting food but after eating a fourth of it, I found the rest unpalatable. Eating the smoked salmon by itself was too salty so I considered asking the lady at the counter to microwave the crepe to see if it would taste better with the cheese melted. But I decided against it. Maybe this combination tastes better as a croissant? Came in to redeem my birthday coupon for a free dulce de leche crepe and wound up ordering a vanilla chai latte to go with it by the suggestion of the cashier helping me with my order. Sorry I didn't take a photo of the crepe which was DELICIOUS, but both it and the latte were SO GOOD that I couldn't stop to take the pics! Needless to say, the atmosphere matched the goodness of the food. The cashier was very friendly and professional, making this a very special experience considering the impromptu dining in! I stay at the hotel nearby for work every week and will come by here at least once, if not twice. It is definitely similar to a Panera (there is one in the area), but I find this cafe to have fresher ingredients and better paninis/salads. I always get the 1/2 of the veggie panini on the jalapeno cheddar bread with the 1/2 of the greek salad. The bread they bake on-site is very good and their greek salad is very refreshing. We also love the chips they make on-site. I have found their soup to be so-so, having tried the french onion a couple times (has been too sweet for my taste). I've never tried their breakfast here but it looks pretty good. My coworkers also really enjoy this place and have found it to be a solid go-to in the area. Would recommend. read more

Decided to give this place a try went there last Monday. Very good onion soup. My aunt ordered a vegetable Panini. It had no vegetables in it just sliced tomato and lettuce? Vegetable Panini's are usually full of different vegetables like onions eggplant peppers different squashes you know vegetables not lettuce and tomato only. I really feel they should put vegetables in their vegetable Panini. Also people were coming into the café and ordering without masks. The staff wore masks but when people were entering the Café they didn't have any on and no one said anything.
