I had been here a few years ago and this place was o.k. It had been closed for a while and I just revisited after their renovations have been completed. The place looks great and very clean and bright. So many yummy desserts on display. We were so glad to find this place open late as we were famished after a day of traveling. The menu is extensive. The place was packed! I got a patty melt with fries and slaw and my dining partner (who had a toothache) got scramblemed eggs and oatmeal). The food was good and came out fast. Service was fine...it's a busy diner We left full and satisfied. Parking area small and tight so be cautious. I would return and give 3.5 stars.

Yall they're back, we have our regular quick yummy meal, don't be scared to ask your server to recommend something. They've never steered us wrong, sizzling, hot, flavorful, crispy, hearty. OMG the chili was delicious!

eggs over medium, side of bacon, home fries well done & whole-wheat toast.

I love going to Andros for breakfast. My bf & I are quite simple, & always order the same thing, & they are usually pretty consistent.

As I was taking inventory and reviewing some of my staple haunts, it took me aback that I had never expressed my gratitude and goodwill towards Andros Diner. I think the reason may be that I never think of Andros as a restaurant-- it's more like a trip to Grandma's when in need of a pick me up. It's like going home. Maybe that's why Andros is my default place to eat, even over cooking at home. Because it is so engrained, ritualistically and functionally into my life. I've always had an affinity for diners but when moving to Fairfield alone, leaving behind my friends and family, it was a massive comfort to already have my relationship with the Andros staff, as the place organically has anchored me to our neighborhood. What else do you want me to say? The food is what it is. Some items excellent, some items terrible, some depend on the day of the week or the guy on the griddle but the secret ingredient to Andros' food is its availability. It is there and a safe bet. Regardless of what you order, you stand a 90% chance it'll be pretty good and a better-than-75% one that at *worst* it will be "just decent". Their coffee is shit for the birds so naturally I drink about seven or eight cups over any given meal. Adding a dessert helps and their pies, carrot cake and especially rice pudding are stand outs. And I usually am not big on NY style, crustless cheesecake but theirs is so good, I can sometimes overlook this preference. The real draw, as it should be, are the people. From the friendly and outgoing owners (great guys with not a whiff of prentention about them), the guys up front who are always extremely welcoming, to the girls waiting tables who treat you like their own son. Everyone on board holds up those walls and if only for that, they deserve some recognition. So thank you, Andros, for always being there. See you for lunch tomorrow, my usual spot at the counter.

They have a small bar area which we ended up sitting at because I grossly underestimated how popular this place is. So please make reservations. They also have indoor and outdoor seating. The food was incredible. The drinks were very good. We went for brunch. You can tell everything we ordered was flavorful, but well balanced and utilized the finest of ingredients. I love how they have different flavored butter with the bread depending on the day. It's a nice touch. Service was exceptional. It is BUSY for brunch. You can tell everyone is doing their best to take care of everyone's needs. They are calm, professional, and efficient. Attentive to our needs. We plan to go back for dinner.

The store has a TON of cute home decor and knickknacks. I could very easily put many of these items in my home. The hummus plate was great with an assortment of veggies to choose from and the latte hit the spot! They have a wide selection of indoor and outdoor plants. Definitely pretty pricey. The plants seemed to be in pretty good shape. I did notice mites on a few of the indoor plants (if you're a plant person you know this isn't too uncommon, however, a store specializing in plants should be treating this).

If you're on the hunt for a traditional French bakery with authentic French and European pastries, desserts, and breads, you will happily walk out of here with a bag of wonderful goodies. When you walk in, you'll come across a tempting display case piled high with their baked goods. I saw platters of croissants of every description! Plain, Chocolate, Choc/Raspberry, Almond, Almond/Choc, Croissant Donuts and Croissant donut holes. But wait there's more! Brioches, chocolate Plies, Pinwheels, fruit turnovers, Cinnamon Rolls, Coffee Cakes, Danishes, Beignets, Scones, Fruit Tarts, Palmiers. The list goes on and on and I haven't even gotten to their cookies, macarons, baguettes, rolls, challah, cakes, quiches, and sandwiches. Seriously, you can have three meals a day here for a month and never duplicate anything. When I walked in, the dining room was pretty busy with customers enjoying a late lunch. The ordering line for baked goods was around five deep, which gave me plenty of time to check out the goods. I ended up with a nice assortment of a chocolate croissant, a chocolate Plie, a fruit turnover, donuts, and a fruit pie. We had some of the goodies last night and a bit more for breakfast today. The chocolate plié was amazing, and honestly, everything we've tried so far has been great. Easy FIVE STARS, n'est-ce pas?
