It was scared the heck out of me but yet Dr Northrop was honest and told me what the risk was for and possible outcomes. I actually appreciate that. I'm a nurse and of course we are often critical of doctors. It took a visitor to until I was willing to trust. But at that point his bedside manner was good and he was extremely honest with me for the positive and the negative. I needed to hear that and also to know what steps to take to follow his direction to the best outcome I'm so glad I did that because now I see that my x-rays are regaining bone. I had a very complicated surgery Dr Northrop and actually three surgeries in total over the last 8 months. I am very fortunate to not have to have an amputation which was a possible outcome. My bone is regenerating, I'm on the final stage of healing. Dr Northrup would be my next go to if I ever, God forbid, needed help again. I will recommend him to anyone that has an absolute problem. We get surprised in life sometimes and people we don't expect to meet. I'm very glad I did and he was recommended to me. Thank you to Dr Northrup! And his staff also, a very pleasant office to visit and very efficient. I don't think I've ever waited more than 5 minutes if that. So relieved after all these months and glad that I had the care I did with Dr Northrup and his staff

I visited in November 2024, and the poor communication and abject bedside manner by the doctor is irrelevant compared to the ensuing billing process. I received no bill in the mail, no phone call, email, or update on the MyChart app. After 13 months I received an email from a debt collector, including daily phone calls even on Christmas Eve. I had spoken to 4 people in the office multiple times, all of whom said I had a 0 balance. Despite this, repeated calls from the debt collector ensued. I have no late payments to any institution in almost 5 decades of life. But despite my best efforts to uncover a possible bill, only NMET had any record. All this for $99. The few workers that attempted to help me explained THEY were responsible for a poor and inefficient billing system. Sadly, UF's inability to manage their own system may become your problem. Beware and avoid patient care as they have demonstrated a lack of trust.

Lisa at the front desk was unexpectedly rude and unwelcoming, which was surprising and off-putting--especially as a potential new patient. There are plenty of physical therapy clinics in the area, and first impressions make a big difference. The front desk staff plays a huge role in shaping the patient experience, and unfortunately, this interaction made me reconsider coming here at all. I hope this is addressed so others aren't made to feel the same way.

I didn`t even finish this appointment, I felt like Dr. Wei didn`t pay attention on what I was saying, I was trying to explain about my migraines and he just seemed impatient and in a rush, he asked questions and didn`t wait for me to answer, he was rude and didn`t seem to care about what I had to say. I asked him if he could let me speak and he kept repeating he was letting me speak but without letting me speak. This guy should not be working with people.
