The staff are friendly and always help patients with a smile. Karla the reception has excellent customer service

For the past three years, there have always been miscommunications and hidden fees. The most recent example was from a pair of bifocals where the close distance was way too close, much closer than I hold my phone yet alone trying to shop or drive. I asked that they be replaced with the same prescription I already had for reading with no change to the distance. They asked me back to check the glasses, and did an eye exam. They then billed me outside of my insurance for that exam since I'd just had a covered exam from the first, incorrect pair. The front receptionist leaves something to be desired. I don't know why she is there. She seems bored and put out. I really liked the doctor who saw me for a prescription and for an eye infection. The person who sells and adjusts glasses was very helpful. All of the good is tarnished by the front desk girl's attitude. read more

I had a great experience with the Madera Office services. Plus, I found the glass frames are much cheaper than where I used to go.

I never had my eyes checked, 44 year old eyes well I guess I should have them checked. I wasn't sure what to expect so I was nervous even though I don't have a eye problem. We'll they gave me a complete eye exam and all is good, no glasses and that's even better because I don't have a face shape for eye glasses. The office staff was very nice and so was the eye tech and Dr. I will be back when I need some eye glasses. read more

We stopped going here because when my husbands ex wife originally took our son there she had put herself on the HIPPA form (non intentionally leaving my husband off the form) when my husband attempted to change the appointment they would allow him to change his sons appointment because "he wasn't on the HIPPA form" even though he is the patients biological father. So rather than canceling the appointment they caused us to be a no call no show and sent us a bill. Thankfully the billing department was better than the receptionist and erased the bill. I would never go back to this place simply because the receptionist made this huge deal that a biological father couldn't reschedule a child's appointment simple because he wasn't on the HIPPA form. read more

I have been going here (the Madera office) for years with no problem. Until now! My daughter had an appointment at the Fresno office with Dr. Maxwell. He's the best! Anyway she ordered contacts and wanted them sent to the Madera office. She paid for them in Fresno and a few days later I called to see if they were in. I got a call back and the girl in the office said they were. I went to pick them up, walked up to the counter where the office girl was making what I thought was an appointment for a lady. After standing there for about five minutes she looked up at me and said, "I'll be right with you". I noticed they weren't making an appointment they were bull-shitting about their kids and comparing dentist's. After a few more minutes I noticed another office employee walking to the front so I stopped her and told her I was here for my daughters contacts and if she could possibly get them for me. The bull-shitter then looked up and said, "You have a balance and I will have to access your account". I told her, "NO I don't have a balance". I'm guessing at that time she got pissed-off, made her friends appointment for Friday then started pounding on her key-board to find my daughters account where she found out the contacts were paid for. She didn't say Sorry, Kiss my A**, or anything. HOW RUDE!! You better thank your employer because if you worked for me, you wouldn't have a JOB!! read more
