I really don't like auto dealers. I set out to purchase a Dodge Grand Caravan from a private…read moreparty. While I was waiting for one seller who didn't turn up, I found a car at Driveline Motors on craigslist. It was $1,000 over my budget and 3 years newer than I planned to buy, a 2008. Tony Tote, jr, the 3rd generation owner answered the phone. He was straight with me about the car. He let me drive and look without overselling me. I had him look up the KBB private party sale price and he sold me the car for a bit under. But I got service I would not get in a private party sale. The car was meticulously clean although they did use air freshener in it which I hate. Once I decided, they did all of the paperwork and put my plates on the car while I went to the bank to get the money. I suppose there are some people who would pay a lot more to go to a big dealership with professional salesmen. We bought a new honda recently from a showroom that delivered free cappuccino and espresso. But I bought a great 7 year old car from folks who are well organized, clean, and clearly know that they need to deliver a good value to survive as an independent. And clearly, they do. I really like a small independent who's made their way for 3 generations by offering good service. There's no fancy coffee here, but solid people and a good deal.

I get a flat and then tell me the car has a special wheel lock that comes with the car...sometimes? Wft? They make you fill out surveys and promise all sorts of things only to turn around after you've give them a glowing review to give you all the red tape and how you're not getting anything. Charlatans.

After the first year, I got the car inspected and I asked them if the rear brakes were good because they don't look or feel good in the manager the office and showed me on a computer that they changed the brake pads all the way around and rotors and tires when I purchased a vehicle. Vehicle had 32,000 miles on it when I bought it has 52,000 on it and they say my rear brakes are totally shot pads and rotors . problem I have is your rear brake should never go before your front brakes and when I took it to get it inspected this year another shop they clearly stated that these are the original rear brakes and rotors on it. I called dealership. To return my calls and when I did talk to someone originally, they said there's no way they did not do the job if it says they did it they did it. This is a very dishonest dealership. I would never recommend it to anybody customer service is not something they care about all they care about is getting your money. It's been a week in three days and still no one will return my calls.

He was very patient and steered me in the right direction when an unforeseen hiccup occurred with transferring my insurance. This is the first time I've bought a car completely on my own, as well as the first time I have had a car with so many gadgets. Rod took the time to show me how to utilize some of the Bluetooth technology featured (I may or may not have used it to call everyone on my way home to brag about my sweet new car). He even helped me find my work parking sticker from my old car after it had already been discarded so I wouldn't have to buy a new one! I am totally in love with my Subaru! Thank you!

I finally get my car back and go home, then realized they charged me for installation of parts (which I was not informed of and did not authorize) which are totally unrelated to the original repair issue (parts which would have been covered by my extended warranty if they had asked). I called the service manager about this and was given the run around, and then I was ignored for a month. Requested call backs, owner's name, etc., and was ignored every time. Then another manager calls me, after a month, and asks me for in-person meet. I go in, explained everything again, he tells me he'll call me back within a day. It's been ten days, no calls, no emails, nothing. No respect for their customer. Now I'm on the hook for someone else's (very expensive) mistake. No one there will accept responsibility for this. I am now a FORMER customer. Update: Now one month since I posted this review and I have still not heard back as promised from anyone from this company

I want to compliment Christa Gentile…read more We first met her this past Sunday when we stopped in to look at 2 cars that were on your website. As it turned out both were rentals and kind of stripped down - not what we were looking for. Knowing what features we wanted, instead of just losing a sale, Christa suggested a different vehicle. It was at a higher price than we wanted to spend but Christa did a great job explaining features and what options the vehicle offered. We had been looking for a straight gas vehicle but Christa's explanations and wonderful personality had us interested. We went over some numbers and, it total, they ended up being too much for our budget. This was a used 2023 Rav4 SE. No offense, but I knew you had marked it up from the price you bought it for - as any good business person does - so, I told Christa if we could play with numbers a bit - we might end up buying your vehicle (my wife wanted a Honda CRV but Chrita was very persuasive) Anyway, Christa was able to convince one of your Sales Manager to come down a little bit - not as much as we had wanted but she showed good faith. We agreed to purchase the vehicle which would not have been the case without Christa's sales ability. We came back today to pick up the vehicle today and had an appointment to pick up at 6:00 PM. We had another appointment at about 6:30 somewhere else so we arrived at about 4:45. Even though we were early, Christa accommodated us and got the paperwork expedited and we got that all signed. The we had to wait for the "finance guy". Again, we had an appointment at 6:00 and were were hoping he could get us in early. I had mentioned to Christa that we had absolutely no interest in ANY aftermarket warranties and we just wanted to sign the final papers and leave. Anyway, we had to wait for our 6:00 appointment - solely to wait for Kalil. When it went past 6:00 I went his cubicle and said I just wanted to sign and go and I reiterated - twice - that I had not interest in any warranties and that he was running late and that I was annoyed and had to leave. I chased him TWICE and he said he was getting together some coverage info to discuss with me. I told him AGAIN I dis not want any of it! I just wanted to sign and go! Finally, at 6:30, he came to our table, knowing that I was already VERY annoyed at him being late and holding us up, AND HE PROCEEDED TO TRY TO SELL ME SOME WARRANTIES! Perhaps he is brain injured but when I had already told him no warranty interest stop selling! Listen to the customer!!! With a bit of an attitude he presented some additional paperwork I needed to sign/initial - none of which could not have been presented by Christa - or anyone else! He just wanted the opportunity to try to up sell me! LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMER! When he came to the table he never introduced himself to my wife and me, he just went into sales mode. After the paperwork was done he picked himself up, turned around, and walked away! HOW RUDE! No thank you. No congrats on your purchase, no hope to see you again in future. Just walk away. Kalil is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with and I am in my 70's! In future, since we like Christa a lot, I will consider purchasing additional vehicles from you BUT never if Kalil has anything to do with sales/service. You are very lucky to have someone as talented as Christa working for you. If not for her efficiency you would not have had this sale. She deserves an award - and Kalil should be fired. Lastly, Dan in the Parts Department is a super star. He definitely understands what good customer service is and he is an absolute pleasure to deal with.
