I've owed 4 VW's and this is by far the worst dealership I have ever worked with. They told me the repairs to my vehicle would be about 5k, which is weird due to low mileage. VW told me to take the car to pep boys to have the check engine light turned off, then go straight to Carmax, who would then give me top dollar to purchase. And then they would likely get it from them because repairs needed, so VW would end up with it. So I took it to another mechanic (a friend)- the codes did not match what the dealer said and I saved myself several thousands or getting rid of a car that's fully paid for and want to keep as a classic. My VW is on the rare side and they wanted it so they could have it on the lot to make $$$. This is the crap that gives dealerships a bad name!!! read more

My experience at Fuccillo VW the past week was the complete opposite of another Fuccillo location, in the best possible ways, and I think this is largely due to the salesman I worked with: Dan G. Dan is a respectful, knowledgeable, and excellent person to work with when considering your next car purchase. My family opted to pause on a car purchase until we feel more comfortable spending the cash next Spring (on the other side of this pandemic), but I would absolutely work with (and buy from) Dan the next chance I get. I also interacted with Mike who was extremely professional and accommodating. The building is clean and upscale and very inviting as well. Absolutely terrible service department at Wally's. I took my fully restored 1998 New Beetle in for a state inspection thinking a dealership wouldn't cause any damage. I was wrong. The technician improperly lifted my vehicle thus crushing the running boards that I had just restored. Service manager agreed they caused the damage and would fix it. However, only if their contracted body shop did the work and then finally they agreed to pay the amount their shop quoted. The estimate from their contracted body shop and the 5-star body shop I've used many times were vastly far apart. While still trying to reconcile these differences, Wally's has become totally unresponsive to me, even after I have drawn attention to VW customer care about this dealership and this interaction. It's now been nearly 4 months and I have no resolution from this deplorable service department. read more

If it was possible to leave 0 stars then I would. I went in to check out a Subaru WRX they had advertised on their site, I spoke with Noah Rummo - Faulkner a sales rep there who seemed to know what he was talking about. I test drove the vehicle and had some follow up questions that I emailed to him a few days after. I put a deposit down on the vehicle to hold it pending the financing options he was supposed to acquire for me, however that took about a week and a half. Normally this process takes 1-2 days. He said he finance manager was "out yesterday", which obviously doesn't explain why it took a week and a half. One of the issues I had with the car was there was water pooled in the drive side tail light. His response was that "the tail lights on all modern cars are specially designed to not be air tight", which is incredibly false and doesn't even make sense. I had to email Noah 3 times on 3 different days to get a response back on the financing and once he did respond he was $40 higher than what we had agreed but he still framed it as "good news, we're right where we wanted to be". I had to fill out a form with my credit card information just to get the refund on the deposit I put down, which has now been 5 days since sending it back to him. Again, emailed him 3 times on 3 different days and finally was told it was put in the day I sent it to him and it normally takes 2-3 days to process. No funds have been put back in my account as of yet. The last thing that was ridiculous was that when I first went to the show room, which is not very well setup to begin with, one of their employees was taking a personal call arguing with the person on the other line not to yell at his mother...incredibly unprofessional and I can't believe that no one in management asked him to take it outside or in an office away from customers. There were 4 other customers there and this individual was not being quiet. I will never go back to a Fucillo again, and I hope no one here does. They had an amateur salesman try to pressure me into doing things I was uncomfortable with, were horrible at communication and tried to tell me tail lights are specially designed not to be air tight, to avoid condensation from building up... read more

This was a HUGE mistake purchasing vehicle from Fucillo Volkswagen. I was told my payment would be between certain amount I get there and it's 60$ higher than I agreed. Then I say I'll just not purchase today I don't need this car. So the guy works the numbers does some shady shit and lowers it a little I said no I don't want the warranty just take it off. He crunches numbers again and lowers it more so it's only 20$ more than I reluctantly agree. I take care home in a huge thunderstorm and didn't notice until the morning there a long deep scratches on windshield, bring car back they say they will pay half of the repairs! I bought a certified vehicle and you want me to pay half of the windshield replacement unacceptable! So I'm canceling my extended warranty the forced me to get and taking them to small claims court. read more

I had explained within the first 30 seconds of my call that it had been a very long time since I had last bought a car, so I was a bit out of the loop with the process. I walked in a few hours later and worked with Bill Watson, Product Specialist. He was kind, gave me a ton of information, and never once misled me or overstated anything. Besides the shady business dealing they were trying to pull on my daughter, the business manager was downright rude, condescending, and a liar. The sales manager wasn't much better. After promising my daughter a certain payment, they changed the payment to $47 more. Then switched her insurance and registratio without talking to her about the increase first! When she said she couldn't do the higher price she was essentially mocked for not being able to go another $47! We had to fight to get our deposit back, fight for the paperwork she had signed promising the payment, and having to force them to call insurance up to switch it back! we wasted a great deal of time and gas money to go there, I hope this review helps at least one person to not have to deal with these unethical, pretentious, unprofessional people! read more

I made a Yelp account specifically to post this review. That's how bad my experience was. I visited Fuccillo VW last weekend excited to purchase a new car. I was greeted by Mike Russo as my salesperson. I found one that I liked and we went inside to talk numbers. I filled out the privacy form thinking it would be used to perform a soft pull on my credit before making a deal. Mike came back with the cost breakdown of the car (2021 Black Pearl VW Jetta SE with Cold Weather Package) that was $32,000. The sticker on the car said $22,899. After my initial shock, I asked why there was a $4,000 charge for "accessories" - Mike said it was for "mud flaps" and "roadside assistance kit" and continued to try to justify stating the stock market and supply and demand. I have a degree in economics and am a professional in retail operations ... I couldn't believe the gall to lie outright. The accessories and cold weather package wouldn't have added up to $1000, as per the VW website. He was incredibly eager to get me to sign multiple times, which I refused. To add insult to injury, he ran a hard pull on my credit. I've never had a dealership run a hard pull before a purchase agreement is signed. If you're thinking of going to Fuccillo VW, run. Nemer and VW of Kingston don't price gouge over sticker price. read more

They are extremely rude, do not understand customer service, are inconsistent across the staff on what they tell customers (one person says you don't need an appointment for something, then you call again and someone else berates you for not having one and tried to re-write facts by saying no one ever could've said you don't need an appointment. Or one person tells you they'll get something done on a given date and then when you speak to another service tram member they will dig in their heels and say they can't commit to it being done on that date etc.). They're inconsiderate, lazy, unprofessional, rude, and seem to have a lot of time on their hands to argue with customers ad-nauseum vs. trying to fix their own mistakes and do their job. read more

I actually purchased a VW from them and they rolled over $2500 to my new loan when it was supposed to be $1000. They robbed me of $1500. Now I know why the sales manager Chris Brewer, never went over the financial part of the loan. He skipped right over to the signature and to this date they still have not made the first payment as they said they were going to do with "sign and drive". If you decide to do business with them which I highly advise you not to, watch your credit score and bill from VW. Billy Fuccillo is a criminal/drug dealer and that is how he conducts business. I ended up with the deal I wanted on a 2018 Passat SE, but at the start of negotiations the salesman actually laughed at me and while laughing called me unreasonable. He then questioned how I came up with such a ridiculous trade in value on the vehicle I would be trading, while still laughing. I then was getting "hot" and getting ready to walk out when another floor manager came over and interceded. Well, I ended up with the exact same starting bid that I was laughed at about, so I guess it wasn't so ridiculous after all. I rarely write negative reviews but this place really infuriated us. Called to make an appointment to test drive a very specific pre-owned vehicle listed on their VW website. We know pre-owned cars move quickly and wanted to confirm it was on the lot. We then drove 45 miles to the showroom (not plowed--barely able to park ) and were made to wait for over 20 minutes (people wandering around with masks not worn correctly) at a table that had debris , pens, paper clips...only to be met by a staff member informing us that the car we came out to test drive was sold the day before but he had assembled a folder with "comparable vehicles in our price range". SERIOUSLY!!?? We were told us on the initial call three hours earlier that they were checking to confirm the inventory and , Yes, come on out. Whether this was a "just get 'em in the door" sales tactic , Intentional "bait and switch" or just plain laziness in not physically checking the inventory , we were furious that our valuable Sunday afternoon was wasted. In comparison, earlier that week, another dealership confirmed the inventory, the lot was snow plowed, we were greeting immediately by the agent we spoke with, all covid precautions were adhered to-- plexiglass at clean desks,--and when we arrived, they had the car pulled around front and warmed up for us for the test drive. My husband and I just bought a 2016 Passat and love it! Went in looking at the Golf wagon but it wasn't big enough. Our salesperson helping us, Mike K, was amazing and suggested the Passat. We have a 1 year old so we need space. He was patient letting us put the car seat in and out and patient with our little girl! Love this car! Great on gas mileage and nice features inside and out. We had a solidly good experience taking our 2013 VW CC in for 50,000 mile service. The facility is less than pristine, a few weeds in the parking lot, some temporary office partitions inside. But personally, dealing w Ryan and Josh in the Service Dept was good and professional. We discussed what was going to be done, the costs and duration of the service, I had a couple questions they answered clearly. We scheduled the service when it was convenient for me. I brought the car in as agreed, filled out some info, and took a seat at one of their courtesy tables. I got work done while I waited. Not a fancy showroom, but sufficient. The service was done on time, on budget. We bought our CC used this summer and this was our first time to Fuccillo VW. We are happy with their service. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Their 6 month 6,000 mile warranty is crap. I bought a used car and 2 1/2 months into owning it the engine blew. It is now 26 months later and my car is still not in good working condition after putting a used engine and used transmission in. I picked it up Friday, after being at the dealership for 6 months and prior to that another dealership for a total of 10 months, only to realize the problem still wasn't fixed. I received a TEXT MESSAGE saying because the car is operable they will no longer service it per the GM and VP. Two men whom I have personally spoke with and been total they will fix the problem. My 6 month warranty was cut short at 2 1/2 months and they don't feel obligated to do any further repairs. I wish I could attach images to this review because I have about 15 repair orders, 10 emails and multiple text messages from them. So unprofessional. read more

Fuccillo Volkswagen was great to me. My sales man was awesome patient and helped me with my needs and wants the the whole way of the deal. Unfortunately I have one complaint about who the finance manager is he was rude arrogant and inconsiderate it seem like all he wanted to do was rushing me into signing something. At one point I was on the phone with my insurance company and while I was on the phone he put a pen in my face and pushing me to sign the extra warranty. I just think he needs to be more patient and considerate when dealing with customers other than that Fuccillo Volkswagen treated me good. read more

I was told to return to the parts manager and maybe he could return the part, so I drove over again when he was in and he said the same thing the first guy said. For the record, few months ago I would have given this company 4 stars. Their sales guy Nick was great at the time we got our new Golf. Two-and-a-half years later, we find out their finance department convinced us to sign up for a bi-weekly payment plan called Equity4U. We were told no cost to us, a smidge higher payments each month and we pay off the car faster. Look, we didn't even need the service. We have excellent credit, no charge bill-pay with our bank. We never keep a car for the full loan - why would we care? But...the finance guy really pushed it, and well, if it's free, who cares, right? Nope, not free. Turns out Equity4U is a gigantic scam, they quietly and slowly charged us $400 over two years. We didn't even realize it. I called Fuccillo and told them they had OUTRIGHT lied to us about this program, and their reply is "We don't work with that company anymore." Their reply was "tough luck, you shouldn't have trusted us." That is quite a company message. Look, you could have refunded our $400. We would have come back. We would have recommended Fuccillo to others. That's thousands of dollars in value. Instead, this company doesn't stand by its product, service, or reputation and deserves this single...rotten star. read more

Unbelievable! We went in to lease a new Jetta for a business vehicle. They started at $429 a month with $4000 down and after three tries at getting us to sign they were at $219 a month with $1200 down.....REALLY?!?!?!? That in and of itself is a statement that, "We admit we are trying to ROB you!" This was after we went for a test ride during which the salesman told us that he does not make money giving test rides so he hoped we were not wasting his time. Went to pick up the vehicle and none of the paper work was done and the car was not even prep. Mind you that the salesman "Nick" had 3 days to do all the necessary things to make delivery go smoothly, it was anything but smooth. Nick was like a deer in headlights and unprofessional. It took over 3 hours to take delivery. The showroom was a dump with dead flowers on the tables and music so loud you could not hear yourself think. The sales manager was obnoxious and slimey. We leased a brand new vw tiguan from this dealer on October 27th, 2019. the brand new Tiguan turned out to be a lemon. It started stalling on day 1. Took it multiple time to the dealer. said there was no problem. drove it to Chicago on November 2, almost got killed on interstate 90. Somehow managed to take it to Volkswagen dealer at Perrysburg Ohio. Today is December 17, 2019 and we still have not received the car back nor did we get any satisfactory response from either the dealer of Volkswagen corporate. There were multiple things wrong with the new car - a true lemon!!! In the mean time we have already made two payments without having a car. i would never recommend this dealer nor Volkswagen to anybody.. I purchased a vehicle from fuccillo VW august of 2016. The car was a black 2013 Audi S5. My salesman was nick I met at the dealership and went on the test drive, now since this was an Audi he didn't know much about the car. When I test drove this the car was also filthy, had a few dents on it, missing floor mat, missing wheel lock key, only had one actual key for the car, and the AC didn't work. Before purchasing, while negotiating the price, they said they would take care of the AC problem within an hour, they just needed a part. With that promise I went ahead and purchased the Audi. Couple of hours go by, they called back and said they couldn't fix the ac, that it has to go to Audi and me living 2 hours away, wouldn't be easy for me to get back and forth of the dealership. I agreed with, that I would come back at a later date and they would fix the issue. While I drove the car home I also noticed the passenger headlight was out and also when the headlight switch was in "auto" the headlights would always stay on (day or night) They replaced the bulb with a different color bulb so that they didn't match (grabbed any bulb they had laying around) and when I told them about the "auto" function issue, they brushed it to the side and said it would "fix it self". It's been 4 months since and the issue is still there with this car. When I emailed the service manager about all of this he never got back to me. I called the dealership up and he said he will "see what he can do" and let me know the following day. A week later I get an email saying, since I don't have extended warranty he can't do anything. Even though this was a pre existing issue from when I didn't purchased the car. I am very un happy with this dealership, also the Salesman nick said he would get another key for the car from the previous owner and when I asked about 15 times if he got it, he finally responded and said they didn't have it and that pretty much they can't do anything for me. I brought my car to a dealership around me in rockland county, and the manager said there "I can't believe they would sell the car like this, it's missing parts and parts are broken" I am never going back to this dealership, nor would I ever tell anyone to go to this dealership, when you walk in, there lobby is full of small tables with plastic table cloths on top and then music is played at full blast so when you need to contact anyone you can't hear them. read more

Vw has major problems with total hierarchy, never lease a vehicle they have end of lease inspection affilliate that appraises for damages upon turn in. Làst two cars off of lease charged 1200.00 in addition to lease disposition fees. Called vw finiance took 4 days to respond, reached out inspection affilliate employees unable to speak english. Virtually unable to arbitrate damage issue. Dieselgate sunk this company. Notwithstanding , called mr joe mosher at fuccillo vw to work two leases , had a difficult time computing a lease , he was flustered by the math and literally told me shop elsewhere. Ultimately l worked 2 deals at cooley vw in east greenbush , ny with larry coles great guy. Did deals via phone .p.s. they don't use A.I.M. lease inspection. read more

We went on truecar.com seeking a good price for a Jetta and this dealership came back as the top hit. We tested a Jetta and the salesman wanted us to just take it for a drive without him but we really don't know the area. So he came with us but wasn't talkative and didn't offer any info on the Jetta that we didn't ask. We went back in a second time to discuss price because even though they were the best bid on truecar we wanted them to come down a bit more. No go so we are going to keep shopping. Darren Moore, the sales manager, is an impressive salesman. Wow. This is a convenient dealership in the Albany area so check it out if you want a VW. The setup inside confuses me and doesn't feel very dealershipy. What's up with the tables folks? But anyway, there are plenty of dealerships on Central Ave so go shop around. read more
