    Mofongo con dos carnes mmmmm!

The food menu has lots of items to pick. I went for the mofongo and it was great!! The service was good. The owner gave me a time frame for my order to be ready and her was on time. During the time i was waiting for my food, lots of customers were coming to pick up the food they place on order by phone. The ambiance is nice. The truck is parked on the corner of a gas station. Very lighted area with tables in case you want to eat there. If you don't decide to go there because is in GoulS, let me tell you that the area has change so much and is not a bad area no more. Go , pay a visit you will like it!

It's nice to have Dominican food nearby the neighborhood whenever I crave it. This is a food truck in the Gould's neighborhood just outside of Cutler Bay. They make Frituras, Dominican Chimi sandwiches and more. They also have Natural shakes and juices as well. It's great that when I have this food, it feels like I am home in the Dominican Republic instantaneously. I had a few things from El Fogon del Cibao. Like Mofongo with Carme frita and the Mofongo with Chicken. My only complaint is that sometimes it's a little salty but it's all good. All very delicious. Good place to grab some food when you are hungry

Pulled up to this place because I saw they had mangu, which was phenomenal due to the guy that works there being authentically Dominican and knowing how to make it I got a mangu with some pickled onions on top (how fucking delicious), an egg on the side, 2 pieces of salami and a piece of fried cheese, as well as a passionfruit juice that was really good. I enjoyed my experience and speaking to the guy that works there made me respect his hustle and I would totally support this business again. Solid little hidden spot if you're looking for some quality Dominican food

I did a little happy dance when I went to a car meet and this food truck was there. This is a food truck so not much to say about the place. They have good service. Food took a little long, but they had also just gotten there so I'm sure it was due to getting settled in and beginning the food service. However, it was worth the wait because the food was amazing. I had the picadera mixta. Everything on the plate was seasoned well, cooked well and so so good. It comes with chicarones, salchicon, fried pork chunks, small pieces of fried cheese, fried chicken (which I would have preferred in smaller pieces, but it was really good), tostones and some mayo ketchup for dipping. Left nothing but the bones of the chicken. I would definitely eat here again if I come across the food truck.

Hands down the most authentic Dominican food truck in South Florida. Amazing flavors, affordable prices, and exceptional customer service.

First things first, the DJ was ON POINT didn't stay on one genre too long, just kept the energy flowing perfectly. It was a rainy Sunday so it wasn't as packed or hype as we expected, but honestly? Even if it was just us and the DJ, it still would've been a whole party. The inside has a dark, moody vibe with cute spots for pics, definitely a vibe. Parking was $11 in a small lot right outside, which wasn't bad. Now let's get into the important part... the FOOD & DRINKS whew!! I had a passion fruit mojito and a passion fruit margarita, both were SO good. Like... real good LOL! The wings were flavorful, and we also had fried tostones topped with shrimp in this sweet sauce that paired perfectly with the savory. SO GOOD. I also tried two different sushi rolls with steak, and babyyy... every bite had me like "hmmmmm" no exaggeration at all. They offer both a brunch menu and a regular menu, and everything is displayed on tablets which was super vibrant and easy to browse. I don't love driving all the way to Miami, but for these vibes, the music, and the food? I'd definitely make the trip again. Good food, good drinks, good music, good vibes. We had an amazing time!

Speaking of flowers who ever came up with the interior layout and the Latino/asian aesthetic deserves a raise. There were multiple tv some playing on of the sports channels or old Asians movies. There was no DJ when I went but the playlist was fire, from dembow to bachata I was jamming the whole time. I ordered a sushi roll which was a little less than what I was expecting so I was still hungry after my meal. That's on me though. It was good I can't complained. The fried flacks were the perfect touch to the roll. The table complaint was that the portions were less than fulfilling. So maybe order an appetizer. I'm not upset with my experience I would dine again.

The fish tasted fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with citrus and spice. The portions were small, but every dish that came to the table was well-presented so flavorful and packed with great flavor, (I don't know anything about Peru so i guess it tasted Peruvian..lol.) The atmosphere was lively, the dining area was beautifully designed and it's easy to see why they were recommended and popular. Unfortunately, there was one issue that significantly impacted my thoughts while sitting at the bar. I observed the bartender using the same pair of gloves to handle cash, operate the payment terminal, prepare drinks, and serve food without changing gloves. As someone who pays attention to food safety and sanitation, especially when I can see it ,this was concerning to watch and took away from what was otherwise a very enjoyable visit. Fortunately he only made me one drink and took my payment other than that he had no real impact on my eating or drinking experience I just thought it was not very clean in that he was used to doing this daily. The food itself deserves high marks, and I could see nothing that was going on in the kitchen so I can only guess they're doing everything correct but improper hygiene practices behind the bar are just as important as in the kitchen. I hope management addresses this because the restaurant was pretty cool and I was planning on visiting later that night. If not for that experience, I would have rated it at least four stars for the flavor and the service and taken away one star for the portion size but I understand it's Miami and you get an experience and a location not necessarily what you pay for. For now, I'm giving it 3 stars based on the excellent food but disappointing attention to sanitation.

Not only was it dismissive, but it was also said directly to a local executive chef -- someone who knows and respects good food service. It's a real shame because the kitchen puts out quality food, but the lack of basic courtesy makes it hard to enjoy. My advice? Go for the food, but don't expect service. Order, take it to go, and skip the tip since service is non-existent. If they ever fixed their customer service, this spot would be five stars all the way. Ambiance ruined by customer service.
