There were El Tiesto locations closer to me, but my friends insisted the Miami one was more of a vibe and I'm glad I listened! First things first, the DJ was ON POINT didn't stay on one genre too long, just kept the energy flowing perfectly. It was a rainy Sunday so it wasn't as packed or hype as we expected, but honestly? Even if it was just us and the DJ, it still would've been a whole party. The inside has a dark, moody vibe with cute spots for pics, definitely a vibe. Parking was $11 in a small lot right outside, which wasn't bad. Now let's get into the important part... the FOOD & DRINKS whew!! I had a passion fruit mojito and a passion fruit margarita, both were SO good. Like... real good LOL! The wings were flavorful, and we also had fried tostones topped with shrimp in this sweet sauce that paired perfectly with the savory. SO GOOD. I also tried two different sushi rolls with steak, and babyyy... every bite had me like "hmmmmm" no exaggeration at all. They offer both a brunch menu and a regular menu, and everything is displayed on tablets which was super vibrant and easy to browse. I don't love driving all the way to Miami, but for these vibes, the music, and the food? I'd definitely make the trip again. Good food, good drinks, good music, good vibes. DOMINICAN JAPANESE FUSION ?!?! TAKE MY CARD. First, I just want to admire the property's murals. They're breathtaking the artist deserves their flowers. Speaking of flowers who ever came up with the interior layout and the Latino/asian aesthetic deserves a raise. There were multiple tv some playing on of the sports channels or old Asians movies. There was no DJ when I went but the playlist was fire, from dembow to bachata I was jamming the whole time. El Otro Tiesto is one of my favorite Dominican spots. It's a Dominican and Japanese fusion and the food is usually really good. The best thing on the menu is the Mar y Tierra roll. I bring everyone here and it never fails. The vibes are always lit. Even when I came for dinner and it was pretty empty, they still had a DJ playing music, which I loved. It keeps the energy up no matter what. That said, one big miss for me were the sticky sweet chili wings. They were horrible. The sauce was way too sweet and had this waxy texture that stuck to your teeth. I honestly couldn't even finish one wing and definitely do not recommend that flavor. Brunch is a good time too but the mimosas are basically ninety five percent orange juice. But the food and vibe overall makes up for it. The mofongo is delicious and the shrimp in that orange sauce are always a hit. Your only option is to park parallel on the side but it is was difficult to find parking. I suggest you to carpool or get an uber. I went to this restaurant for a gift exchange event that I did with my friends on a Sunday at like 2pm. As soon as I arrived to this restaurant I asked the park attendant if there was any parking spaces and he said no. I had to circle many times around the location and found street parking like 10 minutes away. The outside of the restaurant doesn't look so nice but the inside of the restaurant was really pretty. They have a swing hanging from the ceiling where you can take pictures. I was able to do the gift exchange with my friends and I drank unlimited mimosas for $25. The $25 includes a 20% tip on the bill since I was with a big group. I loved the mimosas because it tasted sweet and not tangy like most mimosas. I wanted to try the food since this is a fusion Dominican and Japanese restaurant but this restaurant was loud and I didn't feel like it was the right ambiance to eat. I feel like they should have outdoor seating where you can have brunch. I loved the music and the DJ was great, but I felt like this place felt more like a club than a restaurant. This place has a couple of places where you can take pictures and I will go again but maybe I will go on a weekday when it is less busy. I really didn't like the bathroom I found it super small and one of the two stalls was out of order in a busy restaurant. visited your restaurant with my cousin today, September 15, 2025, around 10:00 PM, and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I ordered the Maduro Roll, which is supposed to have shrimp, but it was served with imitation crab instead. My cousin ordered another sushi roll (we don't recall the name), but the bacon on it tasted old and had a bad smell -- we only managed to eat two pieces. We also ordered mango lemonades, which tasted unpleasant. I couldn't drink mine at all, and my cousin only had hers because she was very thirsty. The only item that was somewhat okay was the Picadors Campo, and even that was just average at best -- maybe a 5/10. When I mentioned the issues to our waitress, she simply said she would "check the Maduro Roll" and confirmed it was supposed to have shrimp, but didn't offer any apology, solution, or compensation. She hadn't even checked on us before that. The bill was $108, and the experience definitely was not worth it. I truly expected better service and some effort to fix the situation, but instead we were left feeling ignored and unsatisfied. read more

A roach fell on top of my moms head, we didn't know what it was until another client saw it crawling on the floor after my mom brushed it out of her head. But it had shrimp ( which I'm allergic to) and chicharrón. When I asked the server she said it's the "new" picadera. The menu still has the old one but this is what you ordered. I told her what my expectations were and all she said is well the iPad is updated. I asked her why she didn't advise us when we were ordering. Nothing to say. I usually enjoy the drinks there the bartenders are good. But after a beer and being stuck with the picadera because she didn't offer to change it we left. I work in another restaurant usually if people have a bad experience we try to comp a drink or give A dessert something. They brought the bill and nothing to make up for the roach and meal issues. This place has such horrible customer service. My friends and I went about 30 minutes to closing and we were told the kitchen is closing soon so we need to order fast. As we sat down our waitress, Paola, gathered our orders and did NOT review the order after collecting our orders. Everyone but one if my friends received their order. When we confronted Paola about the missing order, she proceeded to tell us that we never placed my friend's order! Which is a complete lie! We asked if we can place the order Paolas response was "the kitchen is closed." The kitchen closed two seconds after bringing our meals? We proceeded to speak with the manager, JP. He fought with us and told us the same thing. After two minutes of fighting with JP, he stomped away and told the kitchen to make the order. Once we received the bill, a 20% GRATUITY WAS ADDED TO THE BILL! I'm one to OVER tip, but with crappy service 20% was NOT deserved. We confronted JP once again and we asked to remove the gratuity as at the end of the day, GRATUITY IS NOT MANDATORY! Once again, JP had a nasty attitude when we asked to remove the fee. He yanked the receipt away from us and stormed to the register. We were able to get our concerns met AFTER FIGHTING AND YELLING WITH THE MANAGER. I was told by many people who great this place is, the food is, the vibes are immaculate. I was not given any of that experience. I work in the service industry. I know how infuriating it can be to have clients come in close to closing. ISNT IT SMATWR TO MAKE MONEY THAN TURN IT DOWN??? Additionally there was a piece of plastic in one of the tostones. We told the person who brought the food and he got us a new plate. Aside from that the pork was not good .
