An adopter went there with their sick…read morekitty and they did several tests, xrays, antibiotics, etc. Charged them $800 , told them it definitely wasn't Fip and suggested either euthanasia or a specialist. Well, since this couple loved their kitty so much they took her to an ER vet (MedVet in Commerce). They are highly qualified and competent veterinarians and specialists. MedVet also ran all kinds of tests and racked up $3400. Come to find out, the original test that were done at Cross Veterinary Clinic showed ALL symptoms of Fip. If they would have been told that the kitty could have started getting treated for Fip right away and they wouldn't have a $3400 bill on top of the $800. If they don't know the symptoms of Fip they should refer them to someone who does and by no means say it isn't when it absolutely was.

So when I came to Animal Surgical Center of Michigan, I'll admit I brought that baggage with me. Throughout everything, Dr. Pearson and her team -- especially Sarah -- have been kind, responsive, and genuinely committed to helping my dog. We've done biopsies, bile acid testing, copper level screening, ultrasounds, and more. And while it's taken time, Dr. Pearson has figured out what others couldn't. She's been steady and thoughtful in her care, and it's clear she truly loves her patients. There was a moment recently where I left a 3-star review out of pure frustration and emotional exhaustion. But after having a heartfelt conversation with Dr. Pearson, I saw how deeply she cared -- not just about my pet, but also about her work and the people she serves. I cried that day. Went here Sat 3/5 was there for over 3 hours just for puppy 1st shot and health exam he came in…read morenever did an exam showed him dog had dandruff he says I'll look at this under a microscope left the room for quite awhile I was in a room which over looked parking lot there he was the vet working on dogs in the parking lot giving shots to 3 dogs in a truck came back in to the room told me to wash the pup in dawn dish soap gave him a shot left the room never looked the pup over never listened to his heart or looked at his ears check for hernias or teeth just the shot I doubt if he even looked at a microscope!! I was quoted $63 walked out paying $123.00 I sure got ripped off oh and the stethoscope never left the table never once did he pick them up!
