However, I canceled my last appointment with less than 24 hours notice because I had the flu and when I called to reschedule, was told I could not do so unless I paid the $20 cancellation fee. I get the purpose of the fee since folks will cancel repeatedly for no reasons but seriously, the flu? When I questioned this, I was told, "We do curbside service." OK - next time I keep the appointment with the flu. Posted this on their FB page, but it was deleted by the staff I presume.

The…read morefirst time walking into VCA Swartz Creek was like a breath of fresh air... the front desk receptionists (who you will know and they'll be so dear to you once you go)... will cuddle your pet, love your pet and make you feel at home. They recently changed to appointment only which decreased wait times... we've never had a bad experience with doctors or nurses although our dogs often don't like needles or their nails trimmed ect... we visited so many times last year... and still they get SO EXCITED to see the staff every single time. Clearly, even my dogs feel their love and support. Unfortunately, we've moved and We have to leave them which I hate for me and my dogs since they're my babies and I love them feeling safe/ loved at a place that could be scary, but at the end of the day VCA Swartz Creek did so much good for us. Sooo I'm hoping this will bring them more business and more people can have a vet that has your pets best interest at heart. Go. Their prices are on the low side, the people are phenomenal, the facility is clean, even on their busiest days... we'd be in the lobby and a vet has come and sat while I cried (we thought my pup had cancer) and he loved on my dog). We got so much reassurance in a time when I genuinely thought I was going to lose the love of my life, my service animal, my reason to smile daily.... and they* made that happen and walked with us hand in hand every step of the way. Limbaugh but I stuck with the practice for my dog who had lots of health issues. De. Limbaugh and he staff were great and helped me through the hard process for having to put down my 13 year old dog last year and helped me this year with my new puppy. Because of her kindness and understanding last year I will remain a client of hers. I had my cat get sick the week before I scheduled my dog to be put down, and ultimately had to my cat down as well. I spend nearly $2k on about a week on both of my animals and unfortunately lost both of them. Doc and all of her staff were amazing and super compassionate. It was the week before Christmas and obviously not a great time for me. I will never forget their kindness!
