However, I canceled my last appointment with less than 24 hours notice because I had the flu and when I called to reschedule, was told I could not do so unless I paid the $20 cancellation fee. I get the purpose of the fee since folks will cancel repeatedly for no reasons but seriously, the flu? When I questioned this, I was told, "We do curbside service." OK - next time I keep the appointment with the flu. Posted this on their FB page, but it was deleted by the staff I presume.

Her practice in Flushing is based on her wonderful view of life. I have taken my two Golden Retrievers there for several years now. She and her staff, take the time to answer questions and accommodate our needs. Staff are friendly and always patient. They know us by name and are willing to manage prescriptions and services with patience and flexibility. I trust them implicitly. One of touching parts is how the Dr Koan and staff see the dogs personality. The 'patient' is not just a dog. She has a soul and personality that is respected. Before Riverside, I only had to drive 15 minutes for my dog's care. I willingly drive 45 minutes to be with these wonderful caring professionals. I highly recommend Riverside clinic, Dr Koan, Support staff and newly added DVM's.

EVERYONE from the receptionist to the vet tech were so exemplary! Dr. Laura was what every vet should strive to be. Warm, friendly,concerned, knowledgeable and professional. The office and rooms were spic and span, and everything spelled welcome. After a lifetime of owning pets and different vets, this one should be the model for other clinics to follow! Limbaugh but I stuck with the practice for my dog who had lots of health issues. De. Limbaugh and he staff were great and helped me through the hard process for having to put down my 13 year old dog last year and helped me this year with my new puppy. Because of her kindness and understanding last year I will remain a client of hers. I had my cat get sick the week before I scheduled my dog to be put down, and ultimately had to my cat down as well. I spend nearly $2k on about a week on both of my animals and unfortunately lost both of them. Doc and all of her staff were amazing and super compassionate. It was the week before Christmas and obviously not a great time for me. I will never forget their kindness!
