Service from the bartender was great. He offered up some suggestions, which I needed because they have a large menu loaded with so many appetizing and amazing looking options. I started with their potstickers... They came out with a hard, fried shell and the dipping sauce went nicely with them. Enough to share, or even enough to enjoy and still have room for an entrée. My main dish was their Chicken & Waffle. This isn't some ordinary chicken and waffle, it's definitely an amped up version, made with unique and interesting ingredients, culminating in great flavors! The chicken was so large and very tender - it was amazing! The bacon and sauce on top went with it nicely, and the chive waffle was great with it! Each bite was definitely amazing! This was a great experience, I can see why they have so many reviews and such high stars, those are well-deserved stars!! Definitely recommend stopping in here!

I wanted to try other items, but only 2 types of fish fry and chicken fingers were available. The fingers were like anywhere else. They give you the sauce on the side, not shaken in it. If I had known, I would have ordered extra since I love them saucy. The potato barrels, which are tater tots are amazing! They were crispy and delicious! You can tell they do a lot of fish, since mine also came with bread, coleslaw and tarter sauce. It was ok by me - I didnt want the blue cheese anyways. I was told the beer battered was delicious, but the fries were on the cold side. The cajun fish fry was was lightly battered and a little fishy. The people who ordered to really enjoyed it other than that. They usually get baked, so the batter was a nice change. The coleslaw that came with it was delicious and the bread stick was great! They seem like they do great business since when the order was picked up at 430, the person on the phone was told 630 at the earliest. I'd try it again and hopefully when the whole menu is available.

I had stopped by this place last year when I was in Canada and wanted to make sure I stopped by…read moreagain. It is such a beautiful place, and really has that Irish pub feel that I like. I got into Canada early, so I decided to go have some lunch. I walked in, and immediately felt like I just came home. The bartender, this lovely young woman named Onya, came up and took my order. I ordered a black and tan. She suggested I go for the smooth black and tan which I did. It did not disappoint! I may have to have my black and tans like this for the rest of my life. I ordered a cup of the buffalo wing chowder, and she said it's one of the most popular items on the menu. I asked her to bring that out first before my Classic Caesar salad. Let me tell you something about that soup. Now I'm not a big soup guy, but I do like chowders, and this was the absolute best I've ever had. Had. I've had clam chowder all over the United States but man this one absolutely nails it! It has that buffalo wing flavor which just perfect and not overpowering. I should have gotten the bigger bowl of it instead of the cup. Now let's talk about the Caesar salad. It was absolutely perfect! It had the perfect ratio of dressing to lettuce, not just poured on top like most places but actually tossed. Onya said she did it herself, so massive kudos for her going above and beyond the call of duty. Overall this meal hit on all cylinders and did not disappoint. I will definitely be back here a couple more times while I'm in Canada. If you need to find me, you know where to find me. The bottom line? You really need to get the buffalo chicken wing chowder. It is absolutely an amazing soup and will change your life. And if you like a good classic Caesar, you can't do better than this one!

She was professional, checked up on us multiple times, and gave us refills in a timely manner. The food was pretty good, and I would recommend. It's away from the crazy touristy part of town, so it's a little calmer. On this night, there was live entertainment. I was glad we sat further away because it would have interfered with conversation, but I appreciated the singing (just a little loud for me). I enjoyed my ravioli, and my friend was very happy with her baby back ribs. And if you're from USA, know that the iced tea comes sweetened.

What a fun place to check out! I was looking for someplace different, when this stumbled across my…read morefeed. So I decided to go check out the blind pig. Pretty easy to find, you can't miss the rustic looking exterior with the blind pig in huge letters on top. There's a decent amount of parking, but I'll bet when this place gets busy it's tougher to find a spot. When you walk inside, the interior is very well kept and has a rustic bar-like feel to it, plenty of bar and high top seating as well as booths. I decided to order an iced tea. Something I've noticed about Canada, iced tea is usually a sweetened drink. Not like iced tea you get in the states. So just be aware of that if you're looking to get some iced tea. Regardless, it was very tasty and hit the spot perfectly. One thing I like about this place is they have a bunch of different specials throughout the week, the day I went the special was the brisket sandwich and side salad for $13.99 Canadian. I upgraded to the Caesar salad, and also ordered a side of KFC, or Korean fried Chicken for those of you in the know. Let me tell you something about that. KFC, absolutely delicious! How can you go wrong with fried chicken thighs with Korean BBQ sauce? You can't, that's what I'm telling you! The brisket sandwich was really really good, albeit just a tad dry. But I'm not deducting any points for that. It was absolutely delicious and worth every penny. Service was great, friendly staff, and everything came out as expected. Bottom line? I will definitely be back for that brisket sandwich. They also had some other specials so I guess I'm going to need to spend an entire week here and just eat my life away at the blind pig.

She was running the bar by…read moreherself and absolutely handled it -- attentive, friendly, efficient, and professional the entire time. I wish I remembered her name, but thank you. You made the visit. Now, when you market yourself as the Original Buffalo Wing, that carries real weight. There's history there. There's pride there. And honestly, there's an expectation that comes with it. If you're going to carry that banner, you have to be better than Buffalo Wild Wings. That's just the reality. The identity of the place is built on being the original. The wings were good. Solid flavor, classic presentation, cold beer, sports on the TVs -- it checks the boxes for a fun wing spot. But were they clearly a step above other national wing chains? Probably not. And that's where the expectation gap shows up. That said, it's still a good place to grab wings and a beer. Bring your buddies, bring your family, bring your girlfriend -- catch a game and hang out. It's casual and comfortable. If you're in Niagara Falls and want to experience the history behind the name, it's worth a stop. Just go in expecting a solid wing-and-beer experience rather than something that completely resets the standard.
