(Materials didn't work for the wall and they had to dig more than expected due to grade). That's not the customers fault! They finished around the patio with soil beds per my request, but did not dig the grass out before hand. I assume a professional landscaper would know better, so they either aren't very knowledgeable or they did it intentionally. Months later I am battling Bermuda grass daily, and I am going to have to dig it all out myself and redo the topsoil and mulch beds. I tried reaching out because it wasn't done correctly, but I was given a bs excuse and they would not admit their fault. *Edit to the owners reply* - There is not 6 inches of screens below the dirt, only the areas closest to the patio. You can come look for yourself if you don't believe me. While you are here, look at my other beds that I've had for two years and tell me how much Bermuda grass is growing in there. If you are correct I will delete my review and move on. Also, I have been maintaining it more than weekly to try to stay on top of it. I know how to maintain a yard. I left for vacation for two weeks and this is what I returned to, which is why the review was left just now. You are correct that I should have contacted you sooner, but I also expected with the shoddy work, and the 1 year warranty, Grounds Guys would uphold their end.

I was given multiple empty promises for callbacks and scheduling windows. When I called to cancel my account due to the lack of communication, I was met with total indifference. They seem to care more about collecting money than retaining customers. Worse yet, the owner actually went so far as to post a video on TikTok featuring a photo of my home and house number. Using a customer's private residence for social media retaliation is an alarming breach of privacy and completely unprofessional. My issue isn't just the terrible communication, but the lack of results. Combined with the poor advice I received last year regarding a major dead spot, my backyard currently looks terrible (see attached photo). The complete lack of professionalism and care has reached a point where I have canceled all services. They clearly care more about collecting money than respecting customers or delivering quality work.

I'll share my customer testimony and specifics , including more pictures of my quote and the email exchange with the owner for others that might be considering hire this company. He has until Monday to come by and have a civil discussion about this in person. I'll proceed with holding him accountable to prevent this from happening to other people. I understand contract law and I won't be bullied into final payment until the job is completed as we discussed and agreed upon.
