Genuinely such a sick and twisted company. Our 17-year-old dog Gunther was recently put down, we decided on getting an 8x12 canvas painted a light pale blue/purple to mimic the color of blue bonnets. Gunther loved to play in bluebonnets so we saw fit. We waited anxiously and hopeful that we would get what we ordered. We oppened the box and were greeted with this monstrosity of a clay imprint. First, not what we ordered at all, and second, THAT IS NOT EVEN GUNTHERS PAW PRINT!!! I would put money on the fact that it is not even a dogs paw print at all. Some random worker has a stamp they put into clay and pretend its your dog. If you are going to prey on those that are grieving and try to scam them out of money and get off on it then at least make it look realistic. You guys are actually insane and in the worst way possible. To everyone that gets their dogs cremated and and MAYBE gets them back......I highly doubt you are getting your loved little angel back because these people that run this place are so idiotic and do not care for you. You are trash humans. This is something that can't even be fixed and redone because unless you can sweep Gunther up and put him back together you have failed as a company and deserve to fail. If I could put 0 stars I would because y'all need to be shut down.

She was approximately 8 weeks old and we loved her beyond measure. She had a sister and me and my sister both landed on Sabrina. God lead us to her and for what ever reason he knew she would need us. Approximately at 9 months old she started having some diarrhea and through a multitude of Vet and Animal Hospital visits testing would show she lymphoma. Rare for a pup. Our best prepared us for a rolller coaster if good days and bad days and we were absolutely blessed with really good days up until last week. On a business trip my sister called and said Sabrina wasn't feeling well and was laying down in the corner of the laundry room. She never slept in there. I arrived back home Wednesday morning and she didn't come to the door to greet as she always did. I went to her and she was at her normal place underneath my chair and I gently greeted her and she wiggled her little tale. She died 12 hours later. Her little body had enough. She was our best Friend and we loved her deeply. Her big sissy has been looking for her everyday. At 3:00 am I discovered Precious Pets Crematory and completed their online inquiry. 7:00 am the owner called me. He was awesome and talked me through the options. I told him I would be there by 10:00 and said his daughter would be waiting on me. When I arrived she was kind and understanding. She could see and feel our pain. We received word that Sabrina was ready to be picked up today. Coordinated a time and it went exceptionally well. Not only did we get an engraved urn, but they included her paw print and a sample of her hair. Me and my sister cried...bawled. My last words to This very sweet lady was that I hope I never see her again. Lovingly she understood what I was saying. In life, the love we have for our pets last us a lifetime. Thank you Precious Pets for your kindness and understanding. If I could give 10 stars I would!

I was scheduled to fly out later that morning and couldn't fathom the though of leaving the responsibility to my grieving wife. After attempting to contact a couple of other companies, I was fortunate to find Precious Pets. Not only did they answer, they quickly opened their facility on a Sunday morning so that I could drop our dog off and still make my flight. They are truly wonderful people and despite the sad circumstances, they made the process comforting and convenient.

Everyone we interacted with was so genuinely kind and caring in helping me prepare the details, they didn't rush me or anything. I opted to get his name engraved as well and a clay print of his paw - that, plus the very nice box for his ashes, pickup, and drop-off would end up around $300 all told, and that was already wonderful. But they included material about the rainbow bridge, including resources for counseling and dealing with grief (I luckily already have someone, but am extremely grateful and happy to see that addition,) a packet of wildflower seeds to grow, a small envelope sort of package with a window in which they had placed some of his fur (which absolutely made me bawl when I saw it,) and a tag with his name engraved - this also made me cry happily, as they chose a red heart which is actually exactly the same nametag he had on his collar before too. I was actually not home that day, and my father offered to receive it, and tells me Valerie was very concerned with making sure I would be happy with it all, and I intend to call and let her, and they, know that I am. I hope I won't require their services again, but if I do, I will know that they will take utmost care and respect with my family member.

She brought him back with his little urn, an engraved name plate, his paw print, a certificate with a gold heart, a memorial keepsake with his fur and the tag that stayed with him the entire time. I was very impressed with their services and thought they did a beautiful job. I highly recommend Paws in Peace. We want to say Thank you from all of us for helping us through this difficult time.

They took one look at him and knew he was bad off. They immediately took my baby and rushed him to the back and begin working on him. They allowed me to stand there and observe everything they did to my King. I am a medical person and I am familiar with the processes of triage patients with emergencies. The physician performed a sonogram and began to tell me my options of care. I had to make the most difficult decision in my life. I decided not to be selfish and to have my King put to rest. This facility not only comfort me, but my family as well. They gave us a room and told us to take our time, they offered refreshments and continually checked on us. They just went out of their way with compassion and concern. I have never experienced this type of Customer Service in my entire life. It made me and my family feel heard and understood about our wishes. Once my family completed our goodbyes and they put our King to rest, they comfort my family, some even shared tears with us. They gave us things to remember our baby boy King that I will cherish forever. This hospital will always hold a special place in my heart. This is a place that I would love to work at and be proud to say that I worked there because each and every person who works in that building are Gods angels, and truly care about the animals that they treat. I will always be grateful. I know this was God's plan because it all went perfectly. Yes, I left without a dog, but I now have a new family that I would cherish with my other pets. Thank you again to each and every one of the staff who comfort my family, who gave my comforting hugs and who helped my King. I pray that this establishment continue to employee such phenomenal people who I believe are Angels. I would recommend this pet hospital anyone will listen. I am forever grateful.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the care my dog received at Thrive Pet Healthcare…read moreSpecialists of Mansfield. As someone who works here, I already knew how talented and compassionate this team is--but having my own dog become the patient gave me an entirely new perspective and an even deeper appreciation for the incredible people I am fortunate enough to work alongside. My 11-year-old dog was found to have multiple large masses during his examination and ultrasound, and we knew surgery was going to be necessary. He has already fought through diabetes for the past two years and has been doing remarkably well, so naturally, the thought of another major surgery was incredibly frightening. Dr. Christiansen, our oncologist, took the time to walk me through the possibilities and help me understand what our options might be depending on what the masses ultimately showed on histopathplogy and during surgery. Her knowledge, compassion, and willingness to explain everything gave me confidence during a very uncertain and emotional time. Dr. Thompson was the surgeon who performed his surgery, and I will forever be grateful to her. She gave me strength and reassurance when I needed it most. In surgery I was able to assist with my own dog's procedure. Watching her skillfully and carefully perform his surgery was an experience I will never forget. The outcome was extremely positive, and I am so thankful that my best little friend has the opportunity to continue being part of our family for many more years. I also want to recognize Allyson and Haven, the surgery technicians, for the incredible care and kindness they showed him throughout the entire process. Every single person treated him with the same tenderness, compassion, patience, and empathy they would give to any beloved family pet. Even though I am an employee, they never made me feel like he was being treated differently because he was "one of our own." He was simply treated as a cherished patient--and that meant everything to me. The timing made everything even more difficult. We discovered the masses just 48 hours before I was scheduled to leave the country for a veterinary conference in Croatia. Rather than rushing into decisions, Dr. Thompson, Dr. Christiansen, Allyson, Haven, and the team helped develop a conservative and thoughtful plan that allowed me to travel while knowing we could move forward with surgery when I returned. While I was abroad, they even checked in with me and kept me updated, which provided so much comfort while I was thousands of miles away. Now that I am back home in Texas and seeing my dog doing so well, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. Thank you to Dr. Thompson, Dr. Christiansen, Allyson, Haven, and everyone at Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists of Mansfield for taking care of my boy, for taking care of me, and for giving us more precious time together. Your expertise is extraordinary, but it is your compassion, kindness, empathy, and genuine love for your patients that I will remember most. I am incredibly grateful to be able to call this team my colleagues--and even more grateful that they took care of my best friend when he needed them most. Five stars doesn't feel like enough.

Unfortunately, there is not an option for 0 stars!…read more I brought my dog to this clinic because his neck had become severely swollen and infected overnight. From the moment we arrived, the staff seemed convinced it was cancer simply because he had a history of cancer as a puppy. Without pursuing other likely causes, I was told there was essentially nothing they could do. Even the oncologist on site agreed with that assessment. I asked if it could possibly be something else, such as a bite or infection, because that's what it looked like to me. That possibility was dismissed. I was told surgery was an option but not guaranteed and would have to be done by a different doctor and would cost thousands of dollars. They also told me his blood work suggested kidney failure and implied he only had about six months to live regardless. The impression I left with was that my options were to keep him comfortable until the end or consider euthanasia. Thankfully, I trusted my instincts and sought a second opinion with Alvarado Animal Clinic. They immediately believed it looked like a bite or abscess. They drained it, put in a drain tube and packed the wound, and within a month it had completely healed. They also found no evidence that my dog was in kidney failure. Today he is healthy, happy, and doing great. I understand that medicine isn't always black and white, but I was disappointed that such serious conclusions were reached without fully exploring other, treatable possibilities. If I had accepted the original diagnosis without seeking another opinion, the outcome for my dog could have been heartbreaking. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic. I strongly encourage anyone facing a serious diagnosis to seek a second opinion before making life-changing decisions.
