Good sit down restaurant in downtown, centro de Zihuatanejo. It is walking distance from the Mercado Municipal.
I would suggest to try their aguas/natural fruit juices as they have a variety. We ordered the naranja y piña (orange w/ pineapple) and it was very delicious. It was very refreshing after a walk around the downtown area in the hot/humid weather.
Their meals are hit or miss based on your expectations... Ordered the chile relleno, and although the flavor was there, it just wasn't cooked all the way so the chile was still too hard/crunchy. We also ordered the camarones al mojo de ajo, with a special request of mild spicy level and those were pretty flavorful but not spicy. Just beware that they are made/served not peeled so you need to get down and dirty peeling all your own shrimp. They have room for improvement but I'd give them another chance. read more
