A great shop with very friendly service! If you're into Hawaiiana, it's definitely worth stopping by.

Great and friendly staff. Unique vintage merchandise. Nice vintage aloha shirts. Bought three! Holly and Natalie are the best!

I'm here on vacation and we tried coming here the other afternoon when the store was supposed to be open until 7pm, but it was closed when we arrived at 3:30 pm. Trying again, we arrived today shortly after the store opened. There didn't seem to be a lot of organization of the housewares at the front of the store, but I would say that the clothing was hung up nicely. I was looking for a puzzle , so I went in the back to the kid's section. This area was dirty with black specks of dirt, but as I looked more closely, I could see rodent droppings on the shelves and displays. I left pretty quickly after that, I was so disappointed after reading other great reviews of this store.

I found some other Hawaiian/Asian outfits and we found the much sought after butter keeper for our condo (see Midnight Bear Bread review). I also found some fun Hawaiian style polo shirts for my hubby (who couldn't make this trip), including a Kauai Bus (moisture wicking) and a Firefighter's polo shirt. I was very happy and then ... their tags were the color of the day, so they were on SALE! WOOT! Awesome visit! NOTE: I tried visiting the Salvation Army Thrift Store in Lihue. The gate said that they were open. The door was unlocked, but had a closed sign ... maybe they forgot to flip it? The voice from inside said that they were closed and to come back tomorrow. Awkward, especially since I was leaving that day. The Lihue Salvation Army Thrift Store would not get 5-stars.

This is the cleanest thrift store I have every been in, really love coming here. It's like the only store on the West Side, they have it all

Upstairs from the restaurant. The salesperson, Meredith, was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and FUN! Found what I wanted. If you love the Aloha Collection bag- this is definitely the place. (I think it was my fault...between the rum I drank downstairs & my crazy 15 family members, somehow I lost the bag & he paid cash. We thought the necklaces were gone forever. I called the hotel, rum factory, nothing.. I go BACK to Kauai 2 months later thru a series of WEIRD & RANDOM events, the universe blessed me this year, & I was back in this store w/ my mom (who wasn't on the last trip). As we walk in, I'm explaining to her the story "we bought & lost 2 necklaces from here & ended up buying duplicates on Etsy b/c I felt so bad." The lady who works there (I'm sure the owner) says "you lost 2 necklaces here 2 months ago? Hold on a second...." PULLS OUT 2 BOXES. In my head I'm like "no, no, this is not real, you're mistaken, this is someone else's box." But NO! IT WAS OUR 2 NECKLACES! Someone from downstairs found them & brought them back up to the store. They kept them for 2 months! Even though he paid cash. Most people would have taken the $100 & resold them. Free money. But this owner did not. The integrity of this store is such a rarity in this day & age. A true, honest, kind gem! They are just good people. I will always come back here when I go to Kauai. And yes...these necklaces were way better quality than the ones from Etsy! HA! I also bought more items that are gorgeous. Thank you so much! XO Lacei
