Compared to the other food depot across town, this place is 100x better! The place is very clean, organized, and check out was a breeze. The price on their produce and meats are great, but all other grocery items are so so ... some are a bit over priced actually? but hey, I enjoyed my shop here. Four stars. read more

This place is DISGUSTING. I could manage the old ugly inside of the store, but when I felt harassed by the EMPLOYEES, I soon realized I couldn't bear to shop here, not even for one quick item. The first time I was harassed, one of the bag boys (or something) ran outside and said "Damn baby girl, you lookin' good." Since I didn't know how to respond to that kind of behavior from someone supposed to be working, I looked perplexed, and he then said: "Oh, you don't look like you date black dudes." I WAS APPALLED. How is this okay???? Then, I went back months later because I needed bananas and figured I could get in and out really quickly with one item. WRONG. There were two guys at the check-out, and I could tell they were whispering about me....and then the cashier was completely rude and sarcastic to me for no reason. Basically, AVOID THIS NASTY HELLHOLE AT ALL COSTS....ew. It disgusts me just thinking about the uncivilized employees who can't focus on bagging the groceries and minding their business. Oh or providing you know, any type of customer service. Publix or Kroger are definitely worth the extra few minutes of a drive and they are CLEAN and have FRIENDLY, welcoming employees. At this FD location, I was either standing in long lines of a million people or mentally violated by rude, immature cashiers or bag-boys. Maybe it's easier to tolerate this place if you don't speak English (or hood) and can't understand when employees are making fun of you and making you feel completely uncomfortable. read more

Just went to food depot and they wouldn't honor a sale price advertised on there Web site. I will never go back as I spent over $150 on groceries and the manager wouldn't do the right thing. This was over 60 cent. Ridiculous...... read more
